Since I am a teacher, I was only able to take lessons on the weekend. All County was able to accommodate my schedule, so I could take my lessons on Saturdays. Since I live in Queens, and have always relied on public transportation, I had ZERO driving experience. From day one, my instructor Mike made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Mike is an excellent instructor. His calm and pleasant demeanor is perfect for a driving instructor. He never made me feel nervous when I did something wrong, and he always gave me explicit directions on how to make corrections while driving. I took lessons with Mike almost every Saturday for 8 months. By the time I took my road test, I was well prepared, and I passed on the first try. I honestly enjoyed my lessons with Mike, he's a really nice person, a wonderful instructor, and I would whole heartedly recommend him and All Country Driving School to anyone who wanted to learn to drive, especially someone like me, who had no driving experience. Additionally, whenever I called the office and spoke to Gary and Howard (the owners), or Cinthia, the receptionist, they were always cordial and professional. Today I passed my road test and all of my Thanks goes to this school. My first encounter with the company was over the phone and it was pleasant from the start. They are extremely polite and welcoming. There are packages for ever package and you can even opt for singular lesson. Payment options are flexible. I had a card mix up at one point and they simply called very nicely and we fixed the issue. My driving instructor's name was Lee and he was absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend him to anyone looking to use this service. He is polite, patient, safe, rewards good behavior and points out what your doing wrong in a way that's not aggressive but helps you fix it. He taught me a great way to both parallel park and 3 point turn. There were even stories and laughs along the way. Before my test I had a lesson with the company's owner and he completely calmed my nerves. He was friendly, open and supportive. My son completed Driver's Ed through his school district but due to Covid, had no practice in the car with anyone other than myself and my husband. He was scheduled to take his road test and I felt he should have an unbiased assessment of his skills and perhaps get some tips from a driving instructor. I called and spoke with Gary who was very helpful and scheduled a lesson with Howard. Both Gary and Howard worked with us to understand our son's skill level and how to best work with him. Howard took my son out for a lesson and run through of what to expect on his road test. He then came back and gave us some feedback on what to work on with him since his test was in a few days. We all felt the lesson was well worth the money and it helped to have someone else give the critique he needed. My son passed his road test on his first try. I had a very difficult time learning how to drive and All County made it possible for me to finally get my license. John is an excellent instructor, as are Mike and Marissa. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful, and each instructor has different ways of teaching so it is valuable to be taught by a few people. Their package prices are reasonable and they were able to accommodate me when I wanted to do the ten lesson package a second time. The cars they had me learn in are smooth running, safe, and comfortable, so I enjoyed my lessons. Thanks to All County I was able to get a car of my own and move out of state after a year and a half of living on a couch due to the COVID-19 shutdown. I am incredibly grateful to everyone here and couldn't recommend them enough! If you are a late learner like me, or feel like it is seemingly impossible to get that license, don't give up. What great service! The five hour course was painless and actually pretty insightful- a pleasant surprise, given the large time commitment. Afterwards, scheduling lessons with them was very easy, just call them and give them your availability and they'll set you up on the spot. Given that I had never driven before, I was very nervous about driving, but my instructors established an environment that was very conducive to learning from my mistakes without becoming overly anxious or frustrated. Over my five lessons I had three different instructors, and all of them were very kind and helpful, not to mention good humored. After just my fourth lesson I was pretty comfortable behind the wheel, with only the occasional mistake which they safely and quickly corrected. Hello All, as a busy parent I was having a problem finding time to teach my son how to drive it was apparent I needed professional help. I contacted All County Driving School 535 S. Broadway in Hicksville NY. They were very helpful to me in setting up my son for the 5 HR course and getting him enrolled in door to door driving lessons. They set my son up with Paul as his driving instructor. Working with Paul has been a pleasure. Thanks to Paul my son Passed his road test the very first time. Paul was great to work with from his on time Services to picking my son up from 2 different addresses. Anytime we had a scheduling conflict Paul was very understanding and eager to reschedule. This is an amazing driving school. They are very professional and friendly. When I reached out to the owner Gary, about my sons difficulties, he was so calm, understanding and reassuring. My son who suffers from ADHD, anxiety disorder and panic attacks was so comfortable with the amazing instructors at All County, that he was able to pass his road test on his very 1st try!!! Now its my 16yr old daughters turn for lessons and I wouldn't think about using any other driving school. She absolutely loves Mike. He makes her feel very comfortable and relaxed. She is fantastic and really connected with my daughter to teach her properly and ease my daughters nerves throughout the stress of learning to drive and to pass the road test. Scheduling lessons was very easy, and the staff -- including the owner -- were always pleasant, responsive, and accommodating. Their instructor, Vinny, was especially outstanding. I would highly recommend this driving school to people of all ages and experience levels. I worked with Howard and did two classes and passed my road test! He was extremely helpful with everything, especially my parallel parking skills. When I first went to him I had little knowledge on how to parallel park and by the time my road test came around I was prepared. I haven't driven in 8 years due to personal reasons and had bad anxiety getting behind a wheel agin I decided to take lessons from the driving school who I went to over 15 years ago when I first got my license. This school is just great second time around I had Lee as an instructor and I couldn't of been happier he was just phenomenal . I love this school, the teachers are super cool I've taken the 5 hour class here and it was so fun and didn't even feel like 5 hours. On the day of my road test last minute I called them up to see if they could do like a pre road test and they had no one available to, but the owner himself came to pick me up at my house and taught me for an hour, gave me good advice for parallel parking and 3 point turns and drove me to the test and I ended up passing! I've gone to another driving school before, and I wasn't satisfied with the service, I felt like I wasn't getting taught much. So I switched to All-County Driving School. I scheduled a lesson and to be taken to my road test. With just one hour my whole perspective of driving was changed! Just amazing! I learned sooo much coming from a person that has been driving for a while. I have a better understanding of things. The teacher was amazing and she makes you think on what you are doing and explains why things are the way they are. She was very sweet and caring. She wants her students not just to pass the road test to get our license but to forever be safe on the road. Just because you are the safe driver doesn't mean that there are morons all around us.
