Since I am a teacher, I was only able to take lessons on the weekend. All County was able to accommodate my schedule, so I could take my lessons on Saturdays. Since I live in Queens, and have always relied on public transportation, I had ZERO driving experience. From day one, my instructor Mike made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Mike is an excellent instructor. His calm and pleasant demeanor is perfect for a driving instructor. He never made me feel nervous when I did something wrong, and he always gave me explicit directions on how to make corrections while driving. I took lessons with Mike almost every Saturday for 8 months. By the time I took my road test, I was well prepared, and I passed on the first try. I honestly enjoyed my lessons with Mike, he's a really nice person, a wonderful instructor, and I would whole heartedly recommend him and All Country Driving School to anyone who wanted to learn to drive, especially someone like me, who had no driving experience. Additionally, whenever I called the office and spoke to Gary and Howard (the owners), or Cinthia, the receptionist, they were always cordial and professional. A huge thank you to everyone at All County for making my driving experience such a positive one! read more

Today I passed my road test and all of my Thanks goes to this school. My first encounter with the company was over the phone and it was pleasant from the start. They are extremely polite and welcoming. There are packages for ever package and you can even opt for singular lesson. Payment options are flexible. I had a card mix up at one point and they simply called very nicely and we fixed the issue. My driving instructor's name was Lee and he was absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend him to anyone looking to use this service. He is polite, patient, safe, rewards good behavior and points out what your doing wrong in a way that's not aggressive but helps you fix it. He taught me a great way to both parallel park and 3 point turn. There were even stories and laughs along the way. Before my test I had a lesson with the company's owner and he completely calmed my nerves. He was friendly, open and supportive. I would recommend this company to any and everyone looking to pass their driving test. read more

My son completed Driver's Ed through his school district but due to Covid, had no practice in the car with anyone other than myself and my husband. He was scheduled to take his road test and I felt he should have an unbiased assessment of his skills and perhaps get some tips from a driving instructor. I called and spoke with Gary who was very helpful and scheduled a lesson with Howard. Both Gary and Howard worked with us to understand our son's skill level and how to best work with him. Howard took my son out for a lesson and run through of what to expect on his road test. He then came back and gave us some feedback on what to work on with him since his test was in a few days. We all felt the lesson was well worth the money and it helped to have someone else give the critique he needed. My son passed his road test on his first try. If you're considering taking some lessons here I would not hesitate - they were great! read more

I had a very difficult time learning how to drive and All County made it possible for me to finally get my license. John is an excellent instructor, as are Mike and Marissa. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful, and each instructor has different ways of teaching so it is valuable to be taught by a few people. Their package prices are reasonable and they were able to accommodate me when I wanted to do the ten lesson package a second time. The cars they had me learn in are smooth running, safe, and comfortable, so I enjoyed my lessons. Thanks to All County I was able to get a car of my own and move out of state after a year and a half of living on a couch due to the COVID-19 shutdown. I am incredibly grateful to everyone here and couldn't recommend them enough! If you are a late learner like me, or feel like it is seemingly impossible to get that license, don't give up. All County will make it happen. read more

What great service! The five hour course was painless and actually pretty insightful- a pleasant surprise, given the large time commitment. Afterwards, scheduling lessons with them was very easy, just call them and give them your availability and they'll set you up on the spot. Given that I had never driven before, I was very nervous about driving, but my instructors established an environment that was very conducive to learning from my mistakes without becoming overly anxious or frustrated. Over my five lessons I had three different instructors, and all of them were very kind and helpful, not to mention good humored. After just my fourth lesson I was pretty comfortable behind the wheel, with only the occasional mistake which they safely and quickly corrected. All in all, it was a very painless experience, and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone and everyone within a heartbeat. read more

Hello All, as a busy parent I was having a problem finding time to teach my son how to drive it was apparent I needed professional help. I contacted All County Driving School 535 S. Broadway in Hicksville NY. They were very helpful to me in setting up my son for the 5 HR course and getting him enrolled in door to door driving lessons. They set my son up with Paul as his driving instructor. Working with Paul has been a pleasure. Thanks to Paul my son Passed his road test the very first time. Paul was great to work with from his on time Services to picking my son up from 2 different addresses. Anytime we had a scheduling conflict Paul was very understanding and eager to reschedule. I will be sending my daughter to All County Driving School when the time comes for her to learn to drive and I will be recommending them to other parents in need of professional help. Thank You Paul. read more

This is an amazing driving school. They are very professional and friendly. When I reached out to the owner Gary, about my sons difficulties, he was so calm, understanding and reassuring. My son who suffers from ADHD, anxiety disorder and panic attacks was so comfortable with the amazing instructors at All County, that he was able to pass his road test on his very 1st try!!! Now its my 16yr old daughters turn for lessons and I wouldn't think about using any other driving school. She absolutely loves Mike. He makes her feel very comfortable and relaxed. He is so encouraging that she comes home with a huge smile on her face after every lesson. She bragged to her friends about All County and now they are taking their lessons there as well and love it. Thank you very much All County Driving!!! You guys are the best. read more

Just wanted to take a minute to thank Howard and John at All County Driving School for helping my son get his driver's license. It was his third try and Howard assured me that John (driving instructor) is the best and he would help him pass the road test. When I talked to Howard before I decided to get the classes, he assured me that All County was the best place for my son to be. They explain everything that they need you to know for the road test and as a driver. They made him comfortable which made me comfortable. So thank you Howard, John and All County for everything!!! All County Driving School helped both my children with their driving and passing the road test. I want to specifically highlight one driver. Her name is Cheryl. She is fantastic and really connected with my daughter to teach her properly and ease my daughters nerves throughout the stress of learning to drive and to pass the road test. My daughter did not pass the first time. We then hired Cheryl and after only 5-6 weeks of working with my daughter, my daughter gained more confidence and passed! Cheryl is an excellent and patient teacher. They formed such a bond that after my daughter passed, they hugged! Thank you Gary, Howard and most of all Cheryl! I highly recommend using All County in Hicksville. read more

We recently had a great experience with this driving school for both of our sons. Scheduling lessons was very easy, and the staff -- including the owner -- were always pleasant, responsive, and accommodating. Their instructor, Vinny, was especially outstanding. He was patient, supportive, and consistently kept us informed with helpful feedback after each lesson. We also really appreciated his punctuality and professionalism. Most importantly, both of our sons passed their road tests on their first attempt, which speaks volumes about the quality of instruction they received. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a positive and effective learning experience!! read more

First off, my daughter was extremely nervous to drive but Howard put her at ease immediately. He also knew which other instructor would be a perfect fit and he was 100% right. The entire experience with All County... from their fee to their flexibility to bringing her to her road test was amazing. Had we known, I would have sent our other daughter here instead of her school's Drivers Ed program. It was night and day. All County is individualized, personalized, and direct communication is unbelievable. I can't recommend this highly enough. FYI: She passed her first road test with only 5 points off. I would highly recommend this driving school to people of all ages and experience levels. I worked with Howard and did two classes and passed my road test! He was extremely helpful with everything, especially my parallel parking skills. When I first went to him I had little knowledge on how to parallel park and by the time my road test came around I was prepared. We tried different methods until we found the right one that worked for me. He was very patient and straightforward and you could tell that he, and the whole company, actually cared about helping people become better drivers. read more

I am so incredibly grateful to Howard, my Drivers Ed teacher! Thanks to his amazing patience and clear instructions, I felt completely prepared and confident for my road test, and I'm thrilled to say I passed! Howard made learning to drive an enjoyable and stress-free experience. He always took the time to explain things thoroughly, offered practical tips that really stuck with me, and created a supportive environment that truly helped me master the skills needed to be a safe driver. He's an outstanding instructor, and I highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive! read more

I haven't driven in 8 years due to personal reasons and had bad anxiety getting behind a wheel agin I decided to take lessons from the driving school who I went to over 15 years ago when I first got my license. This school is just great second time around I had Lee as an instructor and I couldn't of been happier he was just phenomenal . Not only did he help me get over my fears driving but he helped me pass my test on the first try. I would highly recommend this school to new drivers and even drivers who want to freshen up there skills. Ask for lee he's the best . read more

I love this school, the teachers are super cool I've taken the 5 hour class here and it was so fun and didn't even feel like 5 hours. On the day of my road test last minute I called them up to see if they could do like a pre road test and they had no one available to, but the owner himself came to pick me up at my house and taught me for an hour, gave me good advice for parallel parking and 3 point turns and drove me to the test and I ended up passing! Totally recommend for anyone needing the 5 hour class or a quick refresher before your road test. read more

I've gone to another driving school before, and I wasn't satisfied with the service, I felt like I wasn't getting taught much. So I switched to All-County Driving School. I scheduled a lesson and to be taken to my road test. With just one hour my whole perspective of driving was changed! John G really made me see how the instructors for the road test would be judging me as Id take my test. He may come off as strict but he sincerely is just showing you what the road test would be like, it's like getting all the answers to the test.. So why not? read more

I had a last minute cancellation the morning of my road test (7/3/20) and contacted All County to see if they had any availability. Luckily Gary was able to provide an instructor and car within minutes. Howard was my instructor and did a great job getting me prepared for my road test. His directions were straightforward and incredibly helpful. These guys saved the day, I have to move in a couple of weeks and needed to pass the road test which they helped me do. Absolute professionals, highly recommended! Thanks again Gary and Howard! read more
