Scheduled a lesson, got a confirmation email listing time/date/pickup location. Get a phone call the night before saying I need to meet at the office instead of pickup. Call the office the next morning to double check this info, and I'm told that the time is actually wrong on email confirmation, and that the instructor would be on his way to pickup. Instructor calls at "new time" saying that we were supposed to meet at the office, despite what person in office had said. At this point, there's no way we are dealing with this school if they can't get basic appointment info straight. Waiting on a refund.

I can say a few things here but I'll just say one.... On the day of the road test the instructors…read moreson came to pick my daughter up. 5 minutes later I'm getting texts from daughter saying 'They got pulled over by a state trooper, because he was on his cell phone while driving.' (She was the passenger) This kid denies and blatantly lies to the officer, so the trooper makes him step out of the car for a "chat". She texted me angry bc she was going to be late. And she was freaking out bc she didn't know what was happening. The kid got a ticket, gets back in the car and proceeds to complain the whole way to the testing site about how HIS day & weekend is ruined. She was late for her allotted test time but they let it go. She was already nervous about passing the road test but at this point her anxiety was through the roof! Unfortunately her nerves got the best of her and she failed her test. I truly believe this experience was part of the reason she failed. But not even a phone call to give an apology- really?? Or at least call to suggest a lesson or two for free for her next scheduled road test. We got nothing! No apology and no acknowledgement of this incident. They just ignored the whole situation as if it didn't happen!

I was actually driving down Uniondale avenue and got a glimpse of the building. It's literally a…read morehop skip and a jump from the fire station. I went in to ask if they did the 6HR defensive course and was told that they did on Wednesday's for $65. Since Covid the classes are now done via zoom which actually worked out better for me because I was able to now just sit at the comfort of my own home and do the class. I also was excited to hear that upon completion that my insurance dropped just for taking the class. Currently I have my sister taking lessons I believe the driver she is with is called Rham and she says he's awesome and very patient with her. What we really liked was that they work around your schedule, the driver will come pick you up if needed and take you home after each lesson. My sister is a new upcoming driver, she's young and still in school so we wanted to get as much lessons needed and this place offers a few package deals that helped get her going. The package we actually took was the 12 lesson package which included 12 lessons, the 5HR class certificate, and the appointment and the car for the road test. All in all it's a place with people that have the right attitude and get the job done, what more can you ask...?

Nydia changed that completely. The way she teaches is on another level, clear, precise and tailored so it actually clicks.
