Five lessons with 5hr class , road test appointment and use of their car for road test. An hour before the first lesson , Moses called my son and told him he was running behind and my son should meet him at the driving school. My son has a learners permit and cannot drive unless he is with a license driver. How was he supposed to get to the driving school? The bus? pay a Uber to come to the driving school for a lesson ! Secondly , he taught my son basic driving skills , no pointers on parallel parking or any useful tips for passing. Lastly, he is bad at returning calls, to this day, we are waiting for him to call is back to schedule the road test. The receptionist is nice , she tries to help. I don't suggest Moses driving school. He is not professional and procrastinates !

I recently got into an accident that shook me up and so I signed up for lessons again to build my confidence back up and he made me feel better after just one lesson and didn't try to scam me into taking more. He's also really professional and diligent. He's always on time or slightly early for lessons, he never loses his cool, he prompt to respond to scheduling requests, and he makes sure you're comfortable on the road. He genuinely cares about who he's teaching and making sure they know what they're doing and he will doesn't care for instructors who don't feel the same way. The cars are like brand new and run really well, which I notice few schools offer. I honestly think he could teach anyone to drive and I'd recommend Beginner's to anyone.

I had a lovely gentlemen named Anthony. He was very nice and informative and really wants everyone to succeed and be safe on the road. The main problem I had was with the actual driving lessons. They DO NOT pick you up so I had to get someone to drive me and pick me up all the way out there just for an hour and a half lesson (I live near JFK airport). I told the driving instructor that I had lots of previous experience and mainly just needed help with parallel parking and the K turn. The driving instructor was looking at his phone maybe a third to half of my entire lesson. During my first K turn he was talking on the phone and pointing at me which way to turn the wheel instead of verbally telling me what to do. It was very distracting when I have to look at him instead of focusing on the road and not hitting the curb. At another point he was telling me to "Drive drive drive!" because I wasn't cutting into traffic and speeding up to go around a double parked truck that was maybe 5 blocks away. I was going the speed limit and did not know which direction we were headed and didn't want to change lanes yet without the instructors guidance. I would not recommend this school for driving lessons at all. It's not in a very safe area of Queens and my instructor was just an all around jerk and I don't feel like he helped my parallel parking at all. I never got his name but he was an older gentlemen with an accent. Only reason why I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 was because Anthony's 5hr class was great. I guess in the end, you get what you pay for.

I read the reviews beforehand and I wasn't sure what to expect. And I guarantee you, the people who work there are wonderful. I bought a package that included: the mandatory 5 hours class, 5 driving practices, booking the road test and the car for the road test. All this was about $280/290 which is great if you ask me. They do offer several different packages and they'll help you pick depending if you drove before etc. A few tips: they have the mandatory 5 hours class twice a week, Wednesdays in the afternoon and Saturday morning. They do tell you to show up at least 30 minutes before the class starts and you should. It's first come first serve so if you're there beforehand you'll get a seat, otherwise if it fills up there's a chance you have to come back another day. So make sure you're there early for the 5 hours class! Now regarding my driving practices, all instructors I had were very patient and professional. I definitely learned a few new things here and there. I had Tracy, Carla, Katrina (twice) and a guy but unfortunately I forgot his name. I really liked them all. So thank you guys!!! On the day of the road test Chris drove me to the test site. She's very nice and informative. And I passed. The whole process took about a month but it can take way less depending on your availability.

In the end, he took him to the test location then denied to give his car. Even tho my father practiced on that car with him, he couldn't arrange any car in last minute, and ended up failing the test. And in the end he complained that the person could not understand english and can't drive etc. Then why he didn't tell this before in all the 6 classes, he just completed them and then didn't care if we passed or not. Never take their service, also not cooperative with class schedules. He comes on his own time!

I completed 8 practice drives and achieved my CDL in exactly 1 month. I regret pinning it down to the wire like that, procrastination does not always pay! The instructors were patient and kind, they believed in me. I had one minor freak out regarding the engine compartment portion and they just shook their heads at me and said "just memorize it" . So patient. I literally jammed all of that info into my brain and I now know what an axle and a radiator look like hahaha Honestly I could not have done this without them. Thank you Accurate CDL!
