Not into this place...at all. I had my first lesson with the owner Terry and he later me texted me asked to go to dinner. That left a bad taste in my mouth-not professional. For this reason, I stayed away from this company and didn't finish my package. I finally decided to finish my package a year later but they would not let me. Folks please read the fine print because packages only last 6months-I should've read that carefully because they would NOT me to use remaining lessons (which I paid for) when I called after 6months. Went to this school as part of a Amazon local deal which included the 5hr pre-license course and 2 45 minute driving lessons. They make you take the 5hr course first which was fine. I had a lovely gentlemen named Anthony. He was very nice and informative and really wants everyone to succeed and be safe on the road. The main problem I had was with the actual driving lessons. They DO NOT pick you up so I had to get someone to drive me and pick me up all the way out there just for an hour and a half lesson (I live near JFK airport). I told the driving instructor that I had lots of previous experience and mainly just needed help with parallel parking and the K turn. The driving instructor was looking at his phone maybe a third to half of my entire lesson. During my first K turn he was talking on the phone and pointing at me which way to turn the wheel instead of verbally telling me what to do. It was very distracting when I have to look at him instead of focusing on the road and not hitting the curb. At another point he was telling me to "Drive drive drive!" because I wasn't cutting into traffic and speeding up to go around a double parked truck that was maybe 5 blocks away. I was going the speed limit and did not know which direction we were headed and didn't want to change lanes yet without the instructors guidance. I would not recommend this school for driving lessons at all. It's not in a very safe area of Queens and my instructor was just an all around jerk and I don't feel like he helped my parallel parking at all. I never got his name but he was an older gentlemen with an accent. Only reason why I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 was because Anthony's 5hr class was great. Seems like they have pretty good deals on the motorcycle classes, but its absolutely impossible to reach on phone any of their locations as well as via email. Tried 3 days in a row. Looks like either everybody is on vocation or this place exists in a different galaxy. Zero response and customer service so far. Can imagine how disappointed I would be if I paid them any money. Worst driving school !!!! The owner is very nasty . The instructors are the worst . They are always on their phones when they are teaching you . If u know how to drive go to that school . If u are a nervous , first time learner don't go . They are just taking your money . First and last time !!!! I would actually like to rate this a 0. Before I explain why, allow me to start with the pros. PROS: I chose this school based on the proximity to my house and I have heard many people say that Laurelton is a good site to take the test. I think the prices are affordable and comparable to other driving schools, if not better. Also Bianca, the receptionist, is very amicable. She is a pleasure to talk to, always very kind and very helpful. I had one main driving instructor, Anthony. He is great. Whenever I felt uncomfortable or needed assitance, we would pullover and he would explain. He is not condenscending. The other instructors I have not met with, but my sister had Kevin and she said he is really good as well. They pick you up at your door. Always punctual. I always felt comfortable and he never yelled or screamed at me. The drivers are a plus, and probably the only reason why this school is still striving. Now for the problem; CON: The businessowner Terry. First and foremost, he is VERY UNPROFRESSIONAL. He is the BIGGEST ASSHOLE I've ever met. Seriously... I pray for him because whatever anger that man has inside comes out on you. And this is why I do not like the school. He is very RUDE. Everytime I have called, he has an attitude. Like I did not do anything to you, so I do not understand why he is so hostile, EVERYTIME. It's not like I called at a bad time, this is everytime I have interacted with him. And it has been plenty times because he usually answers the phone when you call. I dreaded scheduling lessons because I would have to talk to him. Even when I had simple questions or wanted to clarify something, he has an attitude. He puts you on hold forever, then will come back to the line and hang up. And when you call back he does not apologize, nothing. I strongly believe in QUALITY especially if I am a consumer and I am paying you. If you take my money, and I am supporting your business, you better treat me with respect. But Terry does not understand this. He is greedy and only cares about collecting money from you. For this reason I do not recommend using this school. If I could do it again, I would not come here based solely on Terry. If you can handle interacting with someone as disrespectful as him, then the school is great. But that is not something I stand for. Summary: Terry brings this place down. EVERYONE ELSE IS GREAT. You decide if you want to give your money to an asshole or someone who is a little more pleasant. read more

The worst driving school ever and the owner is a CROOK . They lie and tell me that I have less lessons than I know that I have. He got me several times to renew packages and did cause I desperately needed my license. They never told me when my road test was , no reminders or anything . I did a month of lessons and still had no idea how to drive or park . I then became discouraged thinking that I was the problem but it wasn't me . It was the instructor . I immediately changed driving schools and went to Ena's and passed my road test within a couple of weeks . read more

THIS IS THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER CAME ACCROSS!! I purchased a package of 16 lessons and every time I call to schedule the days of my lessons there were only a limited amount of days in the week available. I ended up purchasing individual lessons with Shore Driving School who helped me a great deal and that was how i was able to passed my road test. I had 3 lessons left from my package with Access 2 Drive Driving school and was unable to receive any type of refund. The owner was also unprofessional, when i called to speak with him he hung up the phone before I was finished speaking to him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DRIVING SCHOOL TO ANYONE. You are better off going with SHORE DRIVING SCHOOL because they were the ones who helped me passed my road test. I also had to insist that i have a man because Terry, the owner, was asking me out and if i can clean his house on the first day of my lessons. Terry is RIDICULOUS!!! read more

Took my 5 hr course here, It was a pleasurable experience.

The needs to be a zero stars option. That so called Owner is very rude and disrespectful, the simplest conversations on the phone with him gave me a headache every time I had to schedule a lesson with him. He talks to people as if you have little to no education. The only people from this driving school that made this experience easy all left before I could finish my stupid package. Their record keeping is Terrible. Bottom line if you want your learning process to be swift and easy do not go with this driving school. And if you have a bad temper you will end up cursing out that stupid owner Terry after just one phone call. You will get ripped of by the second lesson. THE WORST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER!! They steal your lessons, tell you that you had them when you NEVER DID ! My package expired a couple days ago and I had 3 lessons left , I even tried to renew it and they told me I couldn't get my lessons that I already paid for with my new package . Their a rip off and I'll never recommend them to anyone . Don't waste your time or money . They come late and take it out of your time .
