I needed my expensive gaming laptop repaired and was scammed before by a local repair shop that…read moregave me a faulty motherboard. This was the first time I went to uBreakiFix as a desperate last resort and they ordered a new mobo and replaced it within a couple of weeks with reasonable labor costs. However, there was poor communication the first time around and apparently the first guy thought that it would be acceptable to replace it with a GTX 2070 instead of the 2080 that it originally came with. Upon seeing a cheaper final price and promptly reading the receipt, I realized the mistake they made and asked them to order a 2080 instead, not minding how much longer it would take. They said that it would arrive in another couple of weeks and that I could just pay the $350 difference, no extra labor costs added. I was worried, but sure enough, they called me when it was ready and my $4000 laptop started up beautifully without a problem with a fresh installation of windows 11. They made it right and stayed true to their word, and I only had to pay the price difference. Thanks, uBreakiFix for not putting me through anymore headache.
