Bob is excellent - all things electrical on vehicles - recommended with enthusiasm. I called to get some door speakers replaced on my 20 year old Toyota Land Cruiser. He fit me in very quickly, did a wonderful job, and is clearly a genuinely good person who takes pride in what he does. And he's very very good at it. I came back to get more work done: a dashcam and some electric motors replaced for the door locks. The door locks are very tricky to do, require some metal working to make them work. But replacing just the electric motors saved me a huge amount of money because I didn't have to replace the expensive door switch/lock assembly. What a positive experience! I stopped by with a long shot request: could Bob refer me to someone who could fix an amplifier for a 2008 Porsche Boxster. I'd brought my old one with me. I've listened to discussions and lectures for 60 years between some of the greatest minds of science, philosophy, and more . Unanimously; they all spoke of the concept of (compassion), (pay it forward), (decency), (kindness) as one of the (" highest human attributes"). They all understood the cosmic value of these concepts as a way to build a society, heal painful wounds, make peace throughout the world in the final analysis. I was forced to retire early in 2011; a real crushing blow. (Bob Haverkamp) and a tow truck friend of his "saved my hiny". The interior linkage pin to my old Doge Dakota clutch broke. I was living off savings. I was too young to get Social Security, or collect my pension. I was in a mental breakdown state of uncertainty and fear. It was a real bad place in my life when I even contemplated jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge from the shame of being what I saw as a loser in the game of life. That may sound familiar to some of you? 60 years of hard labor and I saw myself defeated, crushed headed for homelessness, and elderly poverty. Bob Haverkamp allowed the tow truck to leave my truck until I could make arrangements. He realized how stressed I was. He assessed the situation. He got his tools climbed under the dash board in a very uncomfortable position. He drilled out the old hinge pin, and replaced it with a home made Jury rigged pin that is still working to this very day in my 26 year old truck. Thanks to people like Bob Haverkamp I didn't jump off the bridge that day. He knew I was a veteran. Not a hero of any kind just an honorably discharged veteran; an H53 Helicopter mechanic. Nothing heroic, or special just a loyal American. He made it possible for me to continue living my life; "no exaggeration"? He refused to accept any money for the work. It has been difficult but I'm still here, retired, with a roof over my head and enough to eat. I even have fun out in the Arizona desert and mountains once in a while. Life is good. Here again is one of these times Yelp is so helpful. No way I would have found Bob at All Audio without this--one of those places you only get to by good word of mouth. One man operation for 23 years in hard to find spot with no signage at street. I called, he answered, I said I needed a stereo I'd already bought installed in my 2003 truck to bring it into Bluetooth and smartphone era. If you have stumbled onto this review site for All Audio you have gotten lucky. Bob is the real deal and has been doing this for 43 years and cares about his clients. I can't say enough about my experience, he is honest and has integrity which is something people seek but rarely find in the automotive related fields. He quoted me a price, did the installation, spent a long time showing me how the radio works (and technology is not my primary field), then offered to reduce the quoted price which was an offer I of course couldn't accept. The Bluetooth on my 2016 Honda Odyssey would never turn off, even if the engine and audio-visual unit were turned off. Because it continued to operate, it would steal the iPhone signal from Bluetooth headphones worn in the house, even when I was some distance from the car. Because the Odyssey Bluetooth was continuously on, the parasitic electrical draw depleted the battery until dead even when the car and radio were turned off. Honda service, unable to get a new Bluetooth unit, solved the problem by pulling the fuse, which left the vehicle with a non-functioning audio-visual system - no way to play the radio, connect a phone, use the minivan's microphone or speakers, no use of the drive-assist cameras, and no use of the vehicle navigation system. With skill and finesse, Bobby, owner/operator of All Audio, removed the dash panels and the Bluetooth box and reconnected everything else for a very reasonable price. Now, all the functions are back except for Bluetooth phone connectivity (I need to buy a new Bluetooth box). I am unsure why Honda, who charged much more, didn't fix the problem with this more functional solution. Bobby is great! read more

Absolutely amazing! My mechanic said my alarm was shorting out the electrical system in my 1995 Mustang and he would have to disconnect it. The alarm also wasn't making noise, but still stopped someone from stealing my car. All Audio was able to fix the alarm and the fob. It makes noise again and he confirmed it was not shorting out my car. If I could give more than 5 start I would. read more

He offered to look at another sound system problem that no other audio place said they would even consider - and if he couldn't fix it, no charge. I am a YES to that offer. Cash only. It's to the rear of the alley at 36 Belvedere, behind the wood and sign shop. I think #5, immediately right around the corner. This is the coolest story, and one of my favorite experiences in years..... I drive a 1995 YJ Wrangler, recently had the engine rebuilt and body work, etc. It looks new. Still upgrading... I want tunes! Tiny and "active" little shop with stuff EVERYWHERE. If you are thinking this is just Audio... nope. These guys are machinists and car gurus, and they can do just about anything. Get this... Call Bob. Make a broad appointment. Show up day of, and he's super friendly. He has another friend Judah (?) there working on his own car, and then another gal. Eventually, another guy drives up to just work in the back on his own car. So it's this badass little quirky community of friendly and helpful people. I assume Bob worked alone, but dig this... I am there for a new stereo, and connection to a soundbar I had installed but never connected, *and* if luck would have it, installation of a center console for my Jeep that I have had in a box in the back of my car for about 6 months. I walk up at 3.15p. He says it shouldn't be more than an hour. Think of what people charge for labor.... Immediately pick AWESOME bluetooth USB stick and Aux inputs + Fm radio. No CD, no moving parts, radios are tiny now. I go run an errand. Come back. It is 4.15p. Stereo is ROCKING. Now they are looking at the more challenging center console. It fits, but the screw holes are off. Carefully drills through making sure he doesn't touch the underbody. It takes awhile. It's about 5p. think Labor. He needs something to span something... he goes in and starts machining something. His buddy and him are having FUN trying to figure out the damn thing, like a puzzle. It's finally finished. Fits like a glove. My car is awesome now. 20 years old, and becoming more awesome every day. "How about $175". That's like $100 for the stereo, and $75 for nearly 2 hours of install of complex crap. This guy is stellar. Of course I will tip well. Then... oops, I don't have cash. They're still finishing up, and his friend Nixon who is working on his own car offers to drive me to an ATM. PAY IT FORWARD! We have a great talk, I find out he has done car work in the past, GREAT guy. Bob obviously has good people around him. I come back, pay the tab. As I am driving out, they are behind my car... "Your center break light is out". I am like, damn... gotta take care of that. Nixon and Bob are like "hold up". They disappear, come back, unscrew it, find one bulb works, the other is burnt, but it's the contacts on my tailgate which are rusty. They clean the contacts. They fix the light. They are awesome. Then, Nixon is like "your 20 year old tail is saggin'". I am like, "I know.. it's old, and you have to really slam it shut for it to work". He says "Get me a block of wood" and picks up a wooden scrub brush. He does this weird leverage trick where he pushes the gate on the wood block, which is yanking the door up. He gets a better block of wood.... and really pushing, sort of yanks that tailgate up perfectly. My tailgate closes like the day I bought it. Smooth as silken butter. I went in for a radio for an hour. In two hours these guys had a radio, soundbar live, center console expertly installed, taillights fixed, and my tailgate with expert bodywork.... for $175. COME ON. So fantastic. This is a place to go. Ask Bob about peripheral projects to audio.... GO TO THIS BUSINESS PEOPLE! I can't wait to need something again. THANK YOU GUYS! read more

It's been over a year since I reviewed Bob at All Audio and I think it's time to do it again. Bob has installed a radio in my truck since then, done work on my 06 350E and solved a number of sticky electrical problems in my 91 300E. I brought in my recently bought 2002 Audi A4 in because there was no sound in the front speakers. I totally agree with what Ward has mentioned in his May 1st review when he says: "It takes some effort to schedule (he doesnt do voicemail) but a little patience and consideration pays very big dividends." I called 3 times before getting him on the phone but once I did he was very to the point. He wastes no time in figuring out when to see you, and again quick in figuring out what he needs to do. I will second all of the other reviewers' comments - namely, that Bob is a master at his craft with more knowledge on how "stuff works" and "things are put together" than you could ever imagine. Second time to his shop for another pair of speakers to replace the pedestrian Fender-branded coaxials in my Jetta. He recommended a model of Pioneer speakers that were fairly priced and sounded great when he finished. The difference between the Pioneers in the front doors and the stock speakers in the rear doors was stark, so I went back to see if he would install another set. Unfortunately, he didn't have any more, but agreed to put a set in for me if I could find them. This took longer than I expected, as this model of speaker (TS1686-R) is no longer manufactured. However, persistence finally paid off and I ended up finding a set on Ebay for a really good price. Timing is everything, and Bob will make time for you no matter what he's got going on - and he usually has quite a bit happening. Everyone loves Bob's work as well as his customer service, and I got to meet some cool folks while he did his magic. Truly a master technician, and not only audio - I bet he could fix just about anything that's wrong with your car, and charge you an extremely fair price for doing it. read more

They were able to fit my car in a couple of hours later and hooked me up with a great system for a great price. Their labor rate is very reasonable. If they don't happen to have the system you want, they will get it for you. All Audio is great. Bob was quick, fair, thorough and went above and beyond. Replaced my stereo. Installed speakers. He saw some lights were out in my dash, tested the bulbs and replaced a couple. Saw that one of my lights wasn't grounded and added a ground wire. Even pulled out some pliers and straightened a spot where my weather-stripping was messed up. Bob is an absolute wizard in all things audio, dash, electrical, etc. It takes some effort to schedule (he doesnt do voicemail) but a little patience and consideration pays very big dividends. As the owner of an older Land Cruiser wagon, there are a lot of wacky electrical circuits, switches, actuators that were not well planned. Window lifts, door locks, you name it - Bob has fixed them all. Another LC issue is the classic "noisy dash panel" and again, Bob made my truck like new. read more

I read all the five star reviews and wondered if it could be so. It is so! The only knock to this place is that it is a little hard to find but once you find it you've found a Gem. Bob is awesome and really knows his stuff. I brought him a 1997 4runner and he put a DVD/Backup camera/XM radio/Bluetooth stereo and a Sub Amp combo in my car for a fraction of the price of some of the competitors in the area had quoted me. He also fixed my alarm at no charge (I didn't even know it was broken). All in all I loved Bob's place and will be going back next week to put another stereo in my other car. Bob at All Audio is exactly what Yelp is designed for: I never would have found him if it weren't for Yelp. I was given a USA-SPEC system to connect my iPod to the stereo system in my 2002 BMW 330 Ci. I tried to do it myself, using online videos for guidance and got part of the way there, but in the end couldn't figure it out and broke a number of plastic clips when removing the passenger-side door sill trim to run the wire. I was pretty bummed. Time to Yelp. Found Bob here. I called him at about 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and lo-and-behold he answered the phone! (I hear that doesn't always happen.) I'm a teacher, and it is hard for me to get away during the week, but Bob said that, though he doesn't normally work on weekends, he happened to be repainting the floor of his shop the next day and suggested that I call around noon and check in. The upshot: I went over at 1pm, and within an hour everything was done, and even the trim with the broken clips was back in place, good as new. When Bob asked for a lot less than I expected, I was happy to add a tip for getting the job done so well, so fast, and on a Saturday no less. If I ever have a car audio job again, I'm taking it to Bob the first time around. read more

Utterly delighted customer here. Went in asking about the possibility of getting my car stereo outfitted w/ a jack for my iphone so I could listen to podcasts, but Bob pointed out that for less cost I could get a new, Bluetooth enabled stereo that would let me stream to the car stereo wire free. The stereo was priced reasonably and cost of labor was incredibly reasonable, too. I got out of there for less than $200 total and I LOVE my new set-up. Another thing that makes this place special is how they often will go out of their way to help you with non-audio related problems. Bob noticed and fixed an issue I'd been having w/ my gas gauge at no extra charge. As another reviewer perfectly put it, COME ON. All audio is one of the last "stand-up" installation shops in the area. Bob hooked me up installing and mounting rigid led's in my steel bumper, installing new aftermarket taillights and headlights, as well as a custom in-dash switch.
