We hadn't planned on adding gutter guards, but he mentioned that the prices were about to go up and gave us a total for everything that was actually better than the next company that was pricing only the gutters. Cliff explained everything, showed us the product we was going to use, and it was clearly as good as or better than the competitors. His pricing was much better than the "big box" stores. It was an easy decision to use America's Best Gutters. They showed up right on time, worked straight through without a break, and left the yard absolutely spotless. Then it rained and my new roof freaking leaked so bad I had to use a pot due to rain water was pouring through the ceiling air vent and other water damage around the left side & front of the Fire place. I put this on Facebook, Nextdoor & filed a complaint to Yelp & the BBB because this company refuses to compensate me for the damage they caused to my ceiling & are ghosting me. We had a fantastic experience with Kevin from start to finish…read more We had a leak showing up in our laundry room and were having a tough time figuring it out since it wasn't happening when we were doing laundry and it only happened certain times when it rained, not all the time. My husband attempted to find the leak when looking at the pipes in the attic, cutting out part of the wall in the laundry room to make sure no pipes behind the washer/dryer were having issues, but eventually came to the conclusion that it could potentially be rain coming into the dryer vent which is on our roof - so if we had an extremely hard rain that came in a crazy angle, our wall was getting wet. So I researched around for someone and came across the reviews for McToolman. Kevin was quick to respond, set up an initial consultation that worked with our schedules, and send us a quote. At first ABC seemed like a great value.. low cost of installation for new gutters and guards…read more Unfortunately, now that some time passed, the craftsmanship and quality are not holding up. When contacted, ABC decided to deflect and blame the roof (keep in mind no issue for years before the change in gutters) as the issue. Upon requesting them to come out and take a look to fix the issue they responded it would come at a cost.. which I agreed is fine. After several attempts to get someone onsite to diagnose and repair the issue they stopped responding to me. I've since asked other professionals to review and diagnose the issue. As one can see from the photos, a drainage issue was created by installing the gutter guard under the shingle and above the drip edge which created a bump/gap and does not allow water to roll down into the gutter. The issue is exacerbated now that it's had a few years to present itself as shown by the dark staining on the plywood. I now must pay out of pocket to fix the issue at a cost equal to or greater than what ABC originally charged me for installation of all new gutters.

He assisted me with the process and provided proof and explanation to ensure the roof was properly taken care of. Jose maintained constant and open communication and was quick to repair the roof and upstairs ceiling. He even reinforced parts of the roof and used the best version of the mats and shingles to ensure it will never leak and last another 20 years easily. We texted & called them to help & they said it would be $3400 to repair it. We posted a negative review & they offered to fix it as they wanted our review to go away. We appreciate them agreeing to fix it at no cost but then their top roofer didn't fix it properly (see video). The owner assured us the job was done right this time but we learned in conversations they did not put flashing on our roof & didn't repair any with the new roof either. Two months after the attempted repair the leaking got worse so we contacted other contractors to assess & learned they just piled up sealant & added a screw (see video). Now we have to pay $6500 to repair it. Mike McNally is ignoring my calls as is his son. We selected them over another roofer & we regret it. No flashing. Just slapping down shingles. Ridiculous. Incompetent. Nice people but this is wrong.
