In 2 months, I've had several technicians come (Whirlpool authorized technicians), and each time they troubleshoot, I get charged a service fee, labor charge for whatever they replace, and still NO ICE. I called a 2nd company out. The technician could not figure out what was wrong, referred me back to the original technicians and also charged me for service call. Finally I call RJ and after about an hour of troubleshooting, the technician tells me what he thinks is the problem, and that I should call the original company to hold them responsible. He didn't feel right about charging me. I appreciated his professionalism, his time & honesty. In the end, Whirlpool is replacing the refrigerator. But I would have paid so much more for useless repairs had I not listened to his advice. I'll be sure to call on RJ for future appliance repairs!!

I scheduled him to come by and take a look, 2 days prior to him coming over my oven started to work again. I had to cancel on him as my oven was working again. 3 days later my oven stopped working again. Called Steve and he was over the next day to take a look. He explained to me what he thought the problem was and that it would be better off to call a GE appliance expert. He did not charge me for anything, was incredibly informative and made recommendations for new appliances and how I could potentially try and fix it myself if i didnt want to call GE. Honesty is truly a hard thing to find in a lot of companies, i will use Steve again anytime and recommend him to anyone.

John from Top Notch came to our house, observed the washer failing to complete a cycle multiple times with the same error code and listened to our concerns. After leaving to research the problem he left a voice mail later that day saying that he had consulted a colleague and suggested that we were just loading it incorrectly, he then described in detail how to properly load a washing machine. For context, we had been using this washer for three years without issue before it suddenly started failing mid-cycle, we are also both in our mid/late thirties so we have some experience doing our own laundry. We decided to go back to Sterling Appliance who believed us when we said there was a problem and they replaced the board with the sensor.
