If they do show up, they don't finish the job when they say they will. You end up calling them multiple times to finish what they started, and they never come back to complete the work. Trapline is the exception to that rule. I made contact with them, they showed up as promised, and did all the work they said they would. They got rid of some very destructive raccoons for me and repaired my soffits. They gave me a quote and a handshake, and they delivered on all of it in a very tight time schedule. I never had to call them back. They did the work they promised completely without any prompting from me. That is rare in this day and age. If you are in the Orlando area and have critters driving you crazy call Trapline and let them take care of it for you. You guys deserve the five stars, you earned it. He had to talk to my local Orkin office to "get permission" to allow me to say no to their credit card request up front. The local office gave permission! Big of them. Very pushy - it was like dealing with a used car dealer: the tech kept having to talk to his "manager." The tech was young and did a great job. But Orkin is TERRIBLE. They sent a wildlife guy to close up any openings. He was okay. But I could have done what he did! I now have another rodent in my ceiling. They said I have 6 months to call them if the closed up rodent access areas on my house break down. I know it is not going to be easy to get them to follow through on this. DO YOUR RESEARCH. Using his service has saved me TENS of thousands of dollars and he was able to locate issues that prior inspectors had missed or ignored. I have used his service recently to inspect a $700,000 home I had under contract in Winter Park. Michael was able to identify past and present leaks in the cast iron piping which would have cost me a small fortune to replace as well as a major excavation project. He was also able to identify many areas of wood rot and multiple other repairs which would have been a to be completed in the near future., Including areas of draining from past leaks and evidence that the leaks may have been covered up by the seller. As such, I was able to cancel the sale and save myself an enourmous headache. When I found a new property to purchase, I did use Michael's service again . This property was previously under contract . Although it was previously inspected, he was able to identify issues at this property that the previous inspector had missed. I got a response before 7am and someone was out by 11am. I was impressed by the quick response and showing up on time a couple days before the holiday. Nestor, the tech who came out was friendly, respecting of our home and in my mind conducted one of the most thorough and honest free estimates. We have a pest contract with another company and he suggested we reach out to them as well to see if they would handle, what we thought to be a raccoon as to not violate our contract. He went into the attic (helping me move boxes so we could get into the second attic entrance) and found that it was a rat caught in a trap and it happened to be right on top of our hallway attic entrance flopping around. I was able to call my pest control company and they removed the rat and rechecked entry points and helped seal other potential areas that Nestor pointed out to me during the inspection. I would not hesitate to call them in the future and have reached out regarding a treatment for the attic to neutralize the rat feces.
