David was amazing! He arrived on time exactly as promised and his level of communication prior to arriving was perfect. He took the time to listen to my concerns around the "unwanted visitor, aka squirrel" living in my roof somewhere. He did a thorough inspection of the house, attic space, and roof to look for damage and entry. He was very professional and actually had an opening a few days later and is coming back to make the repairs. We contacted Beacon Pest Services to address what turned out to be squirrels noisily scurrying around in our attic all night long. Service tech Jacob was quickly dispatched to our single-family home. He examined the attic, the roof and the entire exterior of the house. He identified a number of small holes and other openings large enough for squirrels to crawl through. He took photographs of these areas and shared them with Beacon service tech Nick who came out to the house shortly thereafter. While on site, Nick made and installed custom "critter-proof" fittings for all the potential openings. Problem solved!! So we had a great experience we had some gaps in the corners of our home due to storms and some soffit that was a little out of place. The guy came and fixed everything for us and they use mortar not just foam and stuff like that then rodents can eat through and we have not had any problems. I wish I could leave a review on the quality of service but the tech never showed up for a quote. I was attempting to get services for my parents while in town and was told someone would arrive between 12pm and 4pm. Big window but I get it. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate but the time came and went. I contacted them to let them know no one showed up and they said it never got scheduled and that they could offer someone to be here a week later, well after when I am gone. They apologized, to their credit, but I can't trust them to set up another appointment. read more

These people are absolutely fantastic! When I called, I spoked to the most pleasant lady over the phone who explained in detail exactly what they would do and what the pricing would be. They gave me an option for a single service or a recurring one. I opted for the recurring service, as she convinced me that a standalone service may not solve the problem for the long run. This is consistent with what other companies had been telling me, so I went with her recommendation. I scheduled an appointment, and the gentleman servicing my home arrived right on schedule. He was very friendly and was prompt and efficient in his work. He did the interior and exterior of my home, and he even took care of wasp's nest that I hadn't noticed! He might've taken an hour tops to do the work. I had an ant problem, and it went away immediately after service. I also had a minor roach issue that also went away. I'll also point out that they give you options to get discounts on your service. For example, you get a rate discount if you do their recurring service. I believe that they offer you a further discount if you give them your checking account information for your payments, but double-check this when you call. The service worked and was worth every penny. These folks are friendly and efficient in their work. I highly recommend them! read more

called to get an appointment. They called back and asked if they could come one day earlier since they would have someone in the area. I agreed. The next day I waited 4 hours for someone to show up, and nothing. They forgot to adjust the schedule to reflect the change THEY requested. Made another appointment for two weeks later. Again sat four hours waiting for someone to show up. Called and asked why nobody showed up. They said they were closed due to the hurricane and were starting from scratch...that my appointment was pushed back one day...so they could reschedule but not call or send a text to let me know so I didn't sit around waiting for them? Don't know how their pest control is, but they are full of excuses when it comes to not showing up. Good luck if you decide to call these folks. 10/15 Update: the owner contacted me, explained the situation, and offered to make it right. Very few businesses make an effort to provide quality service let alone try and make up for less than quality service. I've increased the number of stars due to all the owner is doing to make up for the errors/issues. read more

Looks like the critters are all gone, not to return. I asked the tech a question regarding some work a contractor did to the outside of the house. The tech (on this own initiative) looked at the contractor's work and discovered that some wire screening was now missing.
