5 Stars for service with a smile, that really worked. And hell- five stars for Ken! We were having a pest issue at the house recently. Why am I embarrassed to say this?! Ok, we had roaches. The big guys. Every few days one would scurry across the floor as we turned on a light, and I would scream in terror. Give me spiders and snakes ALL DAY, but one roach and I'm a mess. It now goes without saying that I was desperate for a fix. We found Ideal Pest Solutions on Yelp (great reviews) and organized for someone to come to the house. We were lucky enough to get Ken- who is a gem of a human being- and I haven't seen a live roach since (it's been 4 months). Now, when I say Ken is a friendly dude, I am not just being nice. He is so freaking helpful, knowledgeable, and kind! He was spraying in my kitchen and noticed one of the cabinet drawers was off its hinge and fixed it right there (I just thought it was a tough drawer to pull out). But beyond the kindness, this company really gets the job done. I have huge gaps under my doors and have a feeling there are so many ways for these bugs to get in, and after the comprehensive first spray, we haven't had any bug issues at all. We're now on the 3 month plan, where they come to do another spray at that time. It was timed perfectly, because we saw two dead roaches the week before they came for the 3 month maintenance. I ready many reviews and really searched for a good pest control company. I really only wanted a one time service to start at a reasonable price. Ideal pest solution was the best choice for us. When Mike arrived to our home he was immediately greeted my out pup Leia, in which he wasn't scared( she is huge and can be intimidating ), but it didn't bother him one bit, after showing her all love she needed, he greeted us and asked us about the problems we had been having. Don't be fooled by their promises and past reviews, I have had extremely bad experience with this company, made false promise, short of staff, and had a very rude staff JASSY who refused to do her job. They just can't keep their promises, if you are in dire need, go elsewhere. We have a Beagle which was recently found with fleas and brought in the house. Monday Morning 4/29, through online search, we found Stark Exterminator with very high Yelp review. We called their office after speaking with three different people, I was told that we must treat the dog, inside the house and outside the lawn all at same time to work, and you couldn't go in for 4 to 7 hours. That makes sense. The "inspector" Mark showed up shortly after the phone call supposedly to survey the situation before they can schedule treatment. Instead, he pushed sign up with lawn, shrub, pest control, termite control services, insisting that is the best way to treat the fleas as. I had showed him the termite control in place, signed all right of services he recommended. Now he said the office would call for schedule, but he doesn't know the details. Someone named Jassy called said she would be here Tuesday between 9 to 10 am to treat the house. I asked what we need to prepare for her visit and try to coordinate with her because the dog needs be treated at same time. She was short in her answer and "no you don't need be out 4 to 7 hours, 2 hours the maximum", hung up. She showed up Tuesday late and told me she was only treating inside the house, she said she didn't know if anyone coming for the outside. But I had already sent my dog to the Vet and moved everything in the house just wat for treatment, if no outside treatment like they said at the same time, would that work? She gave me ultimatum:" are you going to do it or not?" while I was on the phone with their office trying to find out if they schedule anyone for outside treatment. The phone call got several transfers finally got to speak to service manager Luis, who told me it's okay not to treat inside/outside at same time, one day makes no difference. I work from home, suffering the flea's situation, ask him to do what they promised, or I would have to find someone else, conversation ended because they didn't have staff. He called back, asking to keep the service contracts and he would send technician Adam from Kissimmee to do the outside. I was relief and thank him for his effort, he called Jassy back, she showed up before I finished tour her the house, she came out in two minutes that told me it was finished. This is Tuesday. Wednesday, I found live fleas on the flea trap, continue experience bit all day and night, I called their office this morning, no solution that they can't treat until two weeks later. Anyone who needs flea treatment must avoid this company. So let me tell you about these guys, I have nothing but the greatest experience in dealing with Ideal Pest Solutions. I live in Maryland and my elderly parents live in Orlando. My mother just recently had a defibrillator put in so my sisters and I took turns going down to take care of mom. When my first sister arrived she contacted me and informed me that mom and dad had an issue with bugs in the house, granted at their age the OCD/cleanliness that I was so accustomed to growing up was a bit difficult to follow up on when you're in your 80s. I contacted IPS explained to them my issue where I was located and that's I was going to be paying for it and there was no issue. There was an exterminator at my parents house within the hour. My parents were set up with a treatment plan and IPS came back out every week for the next month to make sure that the issue was taken care of and under control. While doing their inspection IPS also found mice droppings behind the stove and tore the house apart looking for, setting traps, feeders around the property and sealing any holes that would allow rodents to get into the house and got rid of them also. IPS are very professional, did a great job and really kept my mind at ease knowing that they took care of my parents and were always one phone call away.
