We initially tried a mail order do-it-yourself pest control subscription, which the ants laughed at. Then the colder months hit, and the ants seemed to go dormant. When the 2nd spring rolled around we decided enough was enough, and shopped around for a pest control service. We selected Benjamin's "Pest Ref", and I wish we had just swallowed our pride during year one and went with him initially. Benjamin was wonderful. He inspected our home, put my wife's mind at ease that we DIDN'T have to worry about termites (as ants and termites are mortal enemies), and recommended a plan for getting rid of our ant problem. We found his rates to be extremely reasonable, even beating out the prices of the nation-wide pest control companies. He treated the house and let us know to expect more pest visibility at first (as they were being killed/driven out). He came back out 2 weeks later for a follow-up treatment, and I haven't seen a single ant since then! Benjamin was professional, sociable, and a complete pleasure to work with. He has followed up with us via telephone to ensure that the bugs have stayed away, and they have. We plan to remain with Pest Ref for as long as we own our home, and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking to give freeloading bugs the boot!

They come out quarterly to treat the property for insects and help prevent infestations, and their service has always been outstanding. Recently, I discovered that my roofing company had done a terrible job on a previous repair, leaving a massive opening that allowed rats to enter my home. Multiple companies came out to investigate, and not a single one could figure out exactly where the rodents were getting in. Then Nick and his associate showed up. Within TEN MINUTES of getting on my roof, they found the problem that everyone else had missed. But here's what really sets this company apart. As you can see in the attached picture, the roofing company eventually returned to correct its mistake. Nick actually went out of his way to come back and show the roofers exactly what they were doing wrong. Even their proposed repair would have left openings large enough for rodents to continue entering my home! Think about that for a second. Nick wasn't there to repair my roof. That wasn't his responsibility, and he certainly didn't have to get involved. But he cared enough to make sure the problem was actually fixed instead of allowing another company to do another half-baked job. THAT is what exceptional customer service looks like. It's rare to find a company that genuinely cares about its customers rather than simply collecting a payment and moving on. Nick and his team have earned my trust and loyalty, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Five stars aren't enough for the level of service these guys provide!

They were everywhere! Gave me nightmates not knowing how they were getting in or how to get rid of them. But we found Do It Yourself Pest Control on Yelp and after describing the issue, we were given the precise products to get rid of those nasty devils.
