We kept seeing the little buggers (pun intended) on the walls and finding small mounds of wood dust on my computer desk. We initially tried a mail order do-it-yourself pest control subscription, which the ants laughed at. Then the colder months hit, and the ants seemed to go dormant. When the 2nd spring rolled around we decided enough was enough, and shopped around for a pest control service. We selected Benjamin's "Pest Ref", and I wish we had just swallowed our pride during year one and went with him initially. Benjamin was wonderful. He inspected our home, put my wife's mind at ease that we DIDN'T have to worry about termites (as ants and termites are mortal enemies), and recommended a plan for getting rid of our ant problem. We found his rates to be extremely reasonable, even beating out the prices of the nation-wide pest control companies. He treated the house and let us know to expect more pest visibility at first (as they were being killed/driven out). He came back out 2 weeks later for a follow-up treatment, and I haven't seen a single ant since then! Benjamin was professional, sociable, and a complete pleasure to work with. He has followed up with us via telephone to ensure that the bugs have stayed away, and they have. We plan to remain with Pest Ref for as long as we own our home, and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking to give freeloading bugs the boot!

I am pleased with the 2 guys that came to our house as they explained everything in detail and showed us proof of our problem (can't believe we weren't sure still after that). Now we are excited to get our house wrapped and these rats gone. Update: what we liked most was their degree of knowledge they had about our situation and when we caught a rat, we called them and they came out the same day and took it away so we didn't have to touch it.
