The second I looked them up on Angi. Someone called me and the ball was rolling instantly. I communicated with Allison and she kept me up-to-date on everything and let me know when one of the guys was coming out. A fantastic, friendly and easy person to work with. Jeremy was the first one to come, and he was very personable and seemed genuine from the second he came in. He offered us different options, gave us some opinions, but ultimately left it up to us. When we asked about the chances of it being put in before Thanksgiving, he said he felt very good about it, could not promise anything, but would do his very best. The carpet was just installed today and it looks amazing. Chris is the one who came out to make sure everything was measured the way we wanted how much carpet vs floor would show. He did the installation. Promptly here at 10:00 am. He was beyond incredible. Not only did he once more walk us through everything before he started, but he fixed a small issue we have been having with our top step where there is a decent gap between the stair and the wood, We have not been able to fix it. He said he could take a look at it for us and he fixed it. Then on his own without any asking he went and re-glued some of our spindles that were just loose. When you would walk down the stairs, they would make a little rattling sound, but he fixed that for us on his own time. I would recommend them 100%. They were spot on, great communicators, very personable and did a fantastic job.

Professional and efficient service. Carpet replacement in three rooms and steps. Looks good!read more

The whole place looks completely transformed -- clean, modern, and beautifully finished. A special shout-out to Jonah's crew and Scott's crew, who were incredibly professional from start to finish. What impressed us the most is that we weren't even home during the installation -- we were on vacation! We came back to flawless new floors, zero mess, and everything done exactly as promised. That level of trust and craftsmanship is rare. If you're looking for a team that's reliable, detail-oriented, and truly cares about delivering amazing results, Flooring Correct is the one. Couldn't recommend them more!

They were so quick and easy to work with. On time and easy to communicate with. Jonah and Scott and the crew were very detail oriented and did everything so perfectly. We had nasty carpet ripped out and hardwood put down and the baseboards replaced in one room to match the rest of the house. They were helpful with tips on maintenance. I got two other quotes and these guys were the best with price but also scheduling. I would recommend Flooring Correct to any of my friends and family. If I need any other flooring I'll be giving these guys a holler.

The representative came out and reveiwed the project, everything was going well. She told us how the bid would be laid out in detail with the detail of the various options listed. When we got the bid it was a one line totla bid, no detail at all and the bid was 5 to 6 times more that what we were told that the job should cost. The representative called me several times afterwards to review the bid, but her phone wasn't working correctly and I couldn't make out what she was saying. I told her this and asked her to call me back on a different phone. Each time she continued to call on the same phone that was broken and I was not able to understand what she was saying. We found someone else to do the job and it was actually less than what we were told the cost should be. No where close to the bid that we received from STL Handman that was 7 times more than what we actually paid to have the job completed.

I hired Local Handyman-St. Louis (167 Lamp and Lantern Village, #129, Chesterfield, MO 63017) to replace the wood area surrounding my front door and sidelights, paying $2,200. My request was for a full removal and replacement of the wood surrounding the door with PVC. Instead, the company performed a surface-level "capping" service, nailing thin PVC pieces directly over the existing wood. The merchant later confirmed in writing that structural framing and jambs were entirely excluded from their work, despite charging a price point that represents a full system replacement in the St. Louis market. Furthermore, the workmanship left the front door weather-stripping misaligned and initially highly difficult to lock. While a technician returned once to adjust the weather-stripping, the door remains at times physically resistant and difficult to lock and unlock. Proceed with caution if you expect comprehensive structural replacement for premium pricing from this company.
