Wow, what an amazing gem of a store. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a sweet little poodle who is like the stores watchdog slash ambassador lol. And the owners are present with so much knowledge of their tanks, the livestock, and are very nice people. Spent over an hour just talking about corals to fish to life topics. One of the owners named Tiffany was present today and she was very helpful. In terms of selection, they have very reasonably priced saltwater livestock and products from food to coral to pumps or lights. I was in awe of the livestock though. Their tanks are stunning and thriving. I've never seen so many pretty corals in my life. Will definitely be returning and I encourage any local or even traveling hobbyists to check them out. read more

First of all the lady with questions about fresh water fish. I was towards the back when you came in asking questions about fresh water fish over and over. You know darn well they don't have fresh water fish. To me it seems like you just went in there just to ask stupid questions. When they say they don't sell fresh water fish, you should have left, but nooooo! You keep hanging around and ask more questions about fresh water fish.!!!!! I've stopped by several times on my trip back to New Orleans. Each time Kevin and Tiffany never disappoint me. They don't have prices on most of the tanks it's because they have different fishes in each tank and depending on the size of the fishes. All you have to do is ask. They are very honest people and they do take there time to answer your questions. If they're under stock you complain, over stock you complain.! Damn if they do and damn if they don't!What will make you happy???? Go to the ocean and catch your own damn fishes then.! One of you complain your friend spent thousands$$$$ there. If he's not happy, then why does he spends thousands $$$ there then???? I give this place*****! 5 stars!!!! read more

Horrible service! Don't greet you or anything! The owners tried to avoid conversation at all cost. No prices are listed. They had like zero selection the only thing they had was Xenia all over every tank. There display tanks were way overstocked. I'm not a part of the tang police but it was horrible. I've went here 3 times and on the third time that was the last straw. I gave this place a whole year to see if they would change...but I guess not. So I went in and of course nobody greeted me until I got around the corals. and when I told him I was started up a saltwater tank instead of treating me like a human being..he said "do research and then comeback" instead of suggesting or helping me and of that there was wet floor signs everywhere and then it just seemed like algee was getting out of hand in most of their tanks! Definitely do not recommend for any saltwater beginners. read more

We were driving by and did a random stop one day to see what they had. The store owner was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and even though we weren't really planning on buying anything we walked out with a couple of great deals. We went back that following week, followed his recommendations on a couple of products we purchased and a couple of weeks later.... our tank looked amazing. Kevin is very friendly, hospitable, and a knowledgable active owner who Is there to answer any ?s as soon as you walk into his store. The store is very clean and presentable with great selection on fish, corals, and other salt water species. We started our first salt water tank and he has helped us on the size of the tank, to fish type, to the correct coral selection and overall upkeep of the tank. Although we were ready to purchase many of his items, he insisted we took our time and eased into the process so we don't waste any money and kill anything that was unnecessary. As a result, we started with the hardy corals and species that would give us room for error as there are so many variables that effect the lively hood of the tank. This store has a good selection . Price is very hi compared to other local stores. At first i thought the owner was a very nice guy but then i realized that his price varies based on what your car looks like and the cloths you wear . i proved this by sending two other people in the store all 3 of us got different price . I also tried to buy something from him he was throwing in the dumpster and he tried to cheat me on the price i told him i could buy it some where else at a cheaper price I was willing to pay even though he was trashing it he said he didn't care. the only reason I will go buy anything from him is out of necessity. read more
