Very helpful. Contacted them through Facebook during the holiday season to see their hours and received a reply within 20 minutes. I had already read many great things about them online, and once I decided that I wanted to add a couple of gliders to my small colony, I knew exactly what breeder I wanted to use. I was told to use their website and find a few gliders that I liked, and they would be looked at and evaluated for temperament. I sent an email with a list of 5 or so. I was told the temperament of each one I picked, and what their recommendation was. I informed them I would be driving about 8 hours, and would probably be to their facility around 2 pm or so, depending on traffic. Well, I changed my plans and decided to leave the night before, and drive all night, get a hotel, and then drive back home the next day. I emailed them and informed them of this, and was told it would be absolutely no problem. I arrived about 10 am the next morning, and was welcomed like I was an old friend. I got to see my two new girls, and was then given a quick tour of the facility, which was amazingly clean given the number of gliders they have. Their facility was amazing, and shows they really do care about their gliders, and aren't just there to make a profit. I was told if I had any questions, concerns, or anything at all, to call or email them and they would respond with any information they had. My husband and I purchased two male gliders from The Pet Glider last March. I was a bit nervous about purchasing live animals online and having them shipped to us; one concern is always the health of the animals, and of course, their welfare while traveling. They were very good about speaking to us on the phone/through e-mail, discussing their diets, asking us if we hand any questions, and making sure that we were ready to accept and care for them when they arrived. They made sure that the two boys we purchased were housed together and got along before they were sent to us. Even when the airline made a major mistake and sent our boys to Cincinnati (and sent the ones going to Cincinnati here to Tampa - basically switched the boxes even though they were clearly marked) the folks at The Pet Glider were right there on the phone to reassure us of their safety, call the airline, and reschedule their flight. They were packaged with enough food/water and such to keep them safe in case of an emergency (like this, for example). I do have to give props to the employee from the airline in Cincinnati as well; she personally called me and assured me that she checked on the gliders, they were fine, and that she would be staying with them most the night. I guess the boys just wanted to take a detour lol. They arrived safely, if not a little jet lagged. I had sugar gliders many years ago and my boyfriend and i decided in 2015 to get them again, unfortunately we purchased our first 2 from a breeder that only wanted to make money and not wanting the best interest of the Gliders so to say the least it was a very bad experience, i found Stephanie and the Pet Glider for assistance and guidance and she was absolutely pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and it was clear that she not only loves what she does, but she loves her Gliders. .lThe place was very clean and didn't reek. You could see rows and rows of babies, all of which were named. The owner spent a lot of time with my family, showing us the gliders and doing hands on training with them to learn how to take care of them. Sugar gliders are not cheap and according to the owner, they have to meet certain criteria to breed and sell these pets. We bought two brothers and were able to pick them up a few days later after they were neutered. Everything we needed we got from this business to include: starter food, snacks and vitamins; recipe for homemade food; pouch and wheel; water bottle and cage. Though we've not gone back due to the drive, I order items from their website frequently and have emailed the owner a few times with questions or concerns. Their response is always quick and helpful and the items I order are reasonably priced and sent quickly. When you have to actually prepare food for your pets you have to realize that said pets are extraordinary as are the people who provide them. I've had nothing but great experience with pet glider and highly recommend them. They are great to purchase from but also continue to provide service long after the deal is done. read more

I reserved two sugar glider brothers here back in December of 2017 on their website. I was worried because I was not going to be able to pick them up until January 2018. However, I got in contact with Elizabeth through the website and she set everything up for me. She never once made me feel like my questions were a nuisance and she gave me tons of information on them. I was impressed with how well she knew gliders, their diets, and how to give them the best care. I picked up my babies (2 years old) on January 27th from Stephanie at the shop. She let me hold them and gave me additional advice on how to bond with them. Everything went so smoothly and I now have my two baby boys home. I love them! Thank you Elizabeth and Stephanie!
