I love my dog's scruffy gremlin look but I decided to get her looking prim and proper for the holidays. It was her very first time, and she was trembling. Rosalind took the time to talk me through how she would start slowly with Jackie and follow her lead. She spoke about her like she was a real baby, which instantly made me feel at ease! A few hours later, Rosalind texted me to let me know Jackie did amazing and was ready for pick up. When I arrived, Jackie wasn't shaking at all. she was playful and happy, and I knew she had been treated with so much care. The team members were very caring. Although with my disability washing my dog can be challenging and painful due to the amount of time spent standing. Once I was in immense pain afterwards the team members sought a chair for me to rest and recover. I won't forget the kindness shown and the empathy towards giving me a reasonable accommodation regardless of what other customers thought. Just after this visit I went to a restaurant where I was discriminated against harshly leaving me in tears after three customers walked out in protest for how I was being treated. Had an issue today with 1 of the staff members and reached out to the corporate office which got me in touch with the store owner. The owner called me very quickly and was very concerned. After speaking with her this will most definitely be my go to location. Sometimes I guess 1 bad apple does not spoil the bunch ...thank goodness. Love the super friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. This location has been nothing short of one of the best pet stores I have visited in Houston. They make you feel welcome and have a pleasant attitude. I don't live close to this location and there is another one closer but have always liked the customer service I receive at this location. They always have items I need in stock and always give me honest opinions and sound advice when asked. AMAZING SHED TREATMENT!! My dog sheds like nobody's business. I've paid hundreds to various places in Houston for their shedding packages. While they did somewhat subdue the fallout for an hour or two, there was no noticeable improvement after a few hours. Charlie had a bath with the shedding package upgrade on exactly one week ago. When I picked him up from the appointment, the difference was noticeable on sight. To the touch, the difference was dramatic. Over the next several days, shedding was minimal. Today, it is a little more but still WAY LESS than normal - especially for the summer. Charlie is very shy and nervous and not a fan of the bath. Staff came out to meet him, sat on the floor and let him get to know her. She just loved on him until he started to go to her when she stopped petting him. Both of the groomers were wonderful with him. That's just priceless. I've shopped there for a couple years. They have a wide variety of food and all of it is high quality food. The staff is ALWAYS wonderful - helpful and very personable. I can count on one hand the number of reviews I've left for any establishment. We love this place. Especially for Grooming! This is our third Groom for both Wally and George with Pet Supplies Plus and we had Rosalind for the second time. She is caring and sweet and professional; book with her ASAP. Our dogs love her. She does a GREAT job and while one is easy (George - short haired terrier), she does an incredible job with our SheepaDoodle Wally. His ears are super clean (which is a hard job for doodles), and we are just super pleased again and again. I watched the client before us and how Rosalind and another technician dealt with a nervous 15.5 year old dog. So very kind and caring. And talk about reasonable. The pricing is significantly less than other places we have used. And to top it off she always adds a cute tie or this time she added an awesome Astros bandana for both dogs. They smell incredible and their fur is so soft. We bought some treats for the dogs afterwards and they have the best deals on treats and dog food. I love visiting this store! The place is clean, organized and has a great selection of dog foods and supplies. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, but probably most impressive is the fact that the owners are almost always present on site to greet and chat with the customers. It's quite a different atmosphere than a couple of the big chain pet stores that I used to visit! I've brought my dogs in twice for the grooming service.I really wasn't expecting to receive an experience equal to, ( if not better) than what I get at the upscale doggie boutique, but that's exactly what happened... both times!! Rosalind and her assistant Kelly were kind and patient with my dogs. I felt like they genuinely cared about my babies, and I can tell by how they behaved that they felt it too! Rosalind will be my permanent groomer for all my dogs from now on! I also love the self service dog bath for use in between groomings. This Pet Supplies Plus location is far from that. As you enter the facility, you are warm-heartedly greeted by the staff. It is very clean and from what I have seen, they have a very extensive inventory of pet necessities. I went here for my pup's grooming appointment, given my go to has closed down and other grooming facilities can be just too expensive. I was not disappointed. It was very easy to register online My boy was super clean and cute!
