We had a procedure scheduled for 12pm on 6/16. They called while we were on our way to tell us it would be 1pm. We didn't see the doctor until 4pm (for the first time) and the procedure didn't begin until 4:45pm. We had a follow up appt with the doctor scheduled for the following week on 6/23. The doctor didn't show up so a nurse covered. We called the following day to schedule time to speak with the doctor and were given an 8pm appt for him to call on 6/25. He didn't call. I called the office 6/26 and left a message for a call. I have followed up via text multiple times since with no acknowledgment. Crazy that once the money has been paid, the service is this bad. I came for a labiaplasty touch-up and a fat transfer. Pre-surgery, Dr. Ammar took the time to talk to me about the plan and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He showed me pictures to get a better idea of what I wanted. Jennifer L. was the medical assistant who took great care of me. In the operating room, she held my hand and talked to me. She made the entire experience very comforting. My boyfriend came to pick me up and he waited for about 3 hours in the waiting area. Jennifer L. was kind enough to bring him into one of the exam rooms to wait comfortably for me and offered him water. When I finished, it was around 9pm and she was the last person left in the office. She did not rush me at all to leave and encouraged me to sit for a few minutes. Scam! They use the same CO2 machine that they use for facial for vaginal rejuvenation and the doctor is always extremely late like 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours late. The front receptionists- multiple- don't make eye contact. Pretend you're not there, then make you feel bad if you ask them what's going on. They should say something like "our apologies the doctor is running late" etc. Unprofessional and only want your money. The vaginal laser for surgical rejuvenation is not worth a penny or a sec of your time. Save your money and go around the corner to buy a nice piece of jewelry for yourself to admire on your wrist or neck daily. Although, the doctor IS kind and attentive, can't say anything bad about that. The first time I didn't wait, I left after over an hour. First I had to sit in a paper gown for almost an hour and a half as the doctor was late to my visit. I can honestly say this was the worst experience I have ever had at any sort of 'medical' institution. I had flown into New YOrk for this appointment and a couple others (and had done an over-the-phone consult with the doctor beforehand) and from the minute I walked in to get a PRP hair treatment it started off horribly and somehow got worse and worse as I continued throughout my treatment. I have never written a bad review (or really any reviews) in my life, but this was such a horrendous experience I felt obligated to do so. When I walked in the receptionist was incredibly rude and condescending. They then put me into room where someone came in to take my blood and I swear it was the first time she has ever taken blood. She kept forgetting items, came back 3 times, and couldn't get the needle in properly and had to try multiple times when I have never had an issue before. She also didn't even know what procedure I was in there for. The rude receptionist then came back in and started putting a numbing cream all over my head. I asked if there was anywhere I could wash it off afterwards (because the doctor told me i would be completely fine after the procedure to go do the other stuff I had come to New York to do). The lady acted like I was an idiot for asking such a thing and said no. The doctor was then an hour late for my appointment so I'm just sitting in this chair waiting with this crap all over my head. Multiple people kept coming into the room over and over to stock shelves, etc, which I felt was so unprofessional and just acted like I was not even there or in existence. Finally after an hour wait (the product should have been on for 30 minutes) another different woman came in tried to prep me before the doctor came and saw me and was so rude. She told me if I could handle the pain they wouldnt have to freeze my forehead. I then asked her a question about alternative ways to freeze the head and she looked at me straight in the face and said I made absolutely no sense and should think about it and walked out of the room. I have never seen such poor bedside manner and customer service in my life. I kept trying to feel my forehead and still had feeling in it which worried me (i dont know if ther product started to wear off from the wait time or if it was just misapplied). Finally the doctor came in and while he was very nice and much better than any of his staff at this horrid clinic, he quickly put in the PRP injections which were incredibly painful and then left. He didnt even bother to explain any post-treatment with me and he was in the room for all of 5-10 minutes. Though I do have to say he was very kind. Finally ANOTHER lady came in to microneedle some more PRP. She was also incredibly rude, had no bedside manner, and did not seem to care at all when I asked to stop because of the pain. I was literally crying from the pain and she seemed completely unphased. She also microneedled the same spot over and over and over and over and when I asked if she has ever had microneedling done on her she said no, never. Which made complete sense to me as she seemed so completely out of tune with what she was doing. Finally they just wiped a couple things off my head and left me. With absolutely no explanation of what to do next, any post-care treatment, how my head would feel etc. I finally crept to the bathroom and saw my bloody head and started crying as I tried soaking up the blood before having to head out. I was in such a shock by the end of it I didn't even have it in me to schedule a follow-up with the doctor. As I was leaving i could hear the rude receptionist yelling to someone on the phone angrily about her upcoming divorce settlement. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone and would stay far away. While the doctor was nice, I have no clue where he hires any of his staff. Left much to be desired. read more

I am still going through a horrible and expensive experience that began with my visit to this med spa. Make sure to do your research and go to a board certified dermatologist or board certified plastic surgeon if you are going to have dermal filler. I didn't do that before I went to Alinea and I am now paying a considerable price. I am still trying to get the terrible filler job I had at this med spa corrected. It has caused the development of granuloma and nodules that are disfiguring, and I am having to take a course of antibiotics due to possible infection that may have resulted from contaminated product. Apart from spending $5000 on Profound RF that has had little or no effect, I spent another $1200 for filler. I wanted just a small amount to fill in an area by one of my eyes. The doctor seems to have overfilled around both eyes giving me ugly big lumps around my eyes and on my upper cheeks. I have had the filler attempted to be dissolved 4 times (3 times by a board-certified top NYC plastic surgeon and a board certified dermatologist who are known for rectifying bad work, and once by Alinea). However, the big hard lumps still persist. The discoloration that also developed as a result of this problem has thankfully been corrected with IPL by a board certified dermatologist (more money) since the Alinea aesthetician was very unhelpful. Yes, most are very friendly at this med spa, but good results and being happy with those results are much more important than a fake smile. Be careful where you choose to go! read more
