Several years ago I went for an ortho consult to Dr. Adam Goodman. ANother dentist you should stay away from. I needed a filling and he told me to go to Dr. Sirota. I called prior and said I was in p ain and needed an immediate filling. I was told to come in the next day, and they would immediately take care of the cavity. Dr. Goodman called him in the meantime supposedly to make sure everything went well. When I got there, I was told to prepay prior to seeing the dentist. The price was approx. $250. When I went in , he asked me if I had $50,000. I was in shock. He kept asking me if I had $50,000 and if I would give him $50,000 and he would cap all my teeth. He told me not to do ortho but cap all of my teeth. I had a fight with him and put him in his place. I asked him to xray the tooth that was bothering me and see what was wrong. He just laughed and refused to do anything. I walked out in disgust and furious that I spent that money for a 10 minute consultation on being harassed for $50,000 to cap all my teeth, which he said were in remarkably good condition. I, then, call Dr. Goodman to complain, and he said I should listen to him. I replied why don't you cap all your teeth. I never bothered with either one. A few weeks ago, I received a call from Dr. sirota. I had forgotten his name. They asked me to come in for my 6 month checkup. I found out that Sirota is desperate for patients. Good for him. He's a real ripoff. And I'm glad both Goodman who's giving free consults now, and Sirota are both in trouble because they are phonies just trying to make money off of people. Long Island Endodontics charges $275 for a consultation without x-rays. If you choose to have the procedure performed at that office, the consultation fee is applied towards your bill. I did not receive a receipt for the $275. It was a mistake on my part not to ask for one. The invoice for this visit was sent to my place of employment, which I find to be very unprofessional. I was billed $627.00 for x-rays. Patients should be informed that their x-rays are on the high end. My dental insurance only covered $87.00 and I can understand why. The individual responsible for billing is unprofessional in communication, both verbally and through email. My visit to this office is costing $550 with no dental work being performed. The kicker! They have pursued legal action against me for the $275. I did inform my dentist about my unfortunate experience with this office. I was provided me a new referral and had a much better experience. The total cost for my root canal (two visits), crown and x-rays, was less than $250.00.

She calmed me down, answered all my questions, and was extremely knowledgeable as she has been with Dr. Hasday for 30 plus years. Dr. Hasday who is himself an Ivy Leager (I saw on his diploma) is incredibly intelligent, caring, TALENTED, and quick. Believe me, this is the man you want working on your mouth. He is very easy to talk with, and makes that all important human connection that is rare with Dr's today in my opinion. It is very very rare you find a Dr. who has both amazing skill, and bedside manner. I had a failed root canal, one of the roots was cracked, and an infection. Dr. Hasday extracted the tooth, and placed an implant. I felt no pain. He even gives a good needle (as you need to be numbed with all dental work). I learned of Dr. Hasday from my dentist and friend Dr. Funk who recommended my wife have an implant the previous year. She had hers done in Dr. Hasday's Massapequa office with fantastic results. I had mine done in his Rockville Centre Office Dental Implants & Periodontology of Rockville Centre. The worst part of this experience for me was the night before as I did not know what to expect, even though I had taken my wife for her procedure a year earlier. I am writing this review 26 hours after the procedure, and am already feeling fantastic. I had some minor throbbing afterwards, which an Advil took care of. That was it. *** Also Dr. Hasday will get back to you with any questions or concerns promptly. He is the complete package, which is why it was easy to give Dr. Hasday a 5 star review. I wish I could have given him a bonus star. Thank you Denise, Theresa, and the entire office staff. Runs like a well oiled machine.
