Ever since leaving my pediatric dentist who I absolutely loved, I had been to quite a few dentists…read morewho have been far from ideal. When I finally found Dr. Dumanian, after one visit I knew I would be returning. She was not the first dentist to tell me I was grinding my teeth at night, but the first dentist who actually told me I needed a night guard. Because of her advice she literally saved my teeth! I have been lucky enough to not have many dental issues besides the grinding, but some people I have recommended to her have not been that lucky. A family member of mine saw doctor Dumanian for the first time after seeing a terrible dentist for decades, and she had to fix almost every single tooth in his mouth. He is now towards the end of his dental journey and could not be happier. She fixed what needed to be fixed, recommended him to some excellent specialists, and did some cosmetic work as well. He has perfect teeth now. In his words, she is a "perfectionist," which is exactly what you want in a dentist. The hygienist is also incredible. I personally never liked cleanings before she started cleaning my teeth because I'm used to pain, but she numbs you perfectly (no needles--don't worry just a gel) before she gets your mouth 100% clean. She also has an incredibly kind and gentle bedside manner, which is great for everyone but especially those people who tend to get nervous at the dentist. I always feel at ease in that office. Dr. Dumanian and her staff are the most brilliant, professional and kind people I have ever had the honor of letting care for my mouth. I honestly feel as if Dr. Dumanian, the hygienist and even the receptionist genuinely care about me.

I had a terrible experience at this office…read more The front office staff are nice and kind, but Dr. Curcio was condescending throughout the time of service, regularly coerced me into purchasing expensive dental products (without taking the time and care to explain why they were necessary or better than standard floss and toothbrushes), and was wont to use as little of the spit suction device as possible, resulting in my choking and/or gagging every time I was there. It was a nightmare. And months after the root canal, I occasionally have strange and uncomfortable sensations where my root canal was done. I understand other people have had better experiences here (and I was lured in by these reviews myself) but I would HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere for your dental service. My daughter had to be taken by ambulance the first time to the hospital, admitted and stayed over night and had to undergo anesthesia, and an endoscopy, which, if not for the doctors error would not have had to endure. Upon a follow up visit to the Dr and for those of you horsing why would you go back to the same Dr well we were $38,000 into it so we had to finish this with this Dr the doctor then proceeded to drop the same exact instrument down her throat again now the doctor claims she has never in all her ears drop this instrument down anybody's throat, but yet managed to do it to my daughter twice my daughter already had issues with Dentist, hence needing such extensive dental care the Dr solution to this was not to send her to the hospital this time just go home and pass it on your own. I'm sure you will with no regard for the fact that by doing that if she had aspirated that instrument into her lungs, it could've killed her, but because she didn't want it on record that it happened twice we just sent her home. now in speaking with the doctor and trying to work this out amicably and come to some type of reconciliation the doctors solution to that was and is, oh I can take care of her bottom teeth for you for $35,000 more is she kidding, in what world would I ever do that? I am posting this to save you and your children from this happening, please heed my warning good luck. Mary Ann Diasio
