I don't think I've weaver written a review while still at the establishment so that alone should be indicative of how good this practice is. I was referred here by my dentist for a root canal. I was cringing the whole drive here because I had a horrible experience with another practice. Right away, I loved how warm the front-desk staff was. The waiting area id bright and cheery and I didn't smell all the chemicals ( which I loathe) I usually smell at dentist office. The wait was practical. Dr. Einbender came in and introduced himself and got right to business. I was very impressed with the tools that made the whole thing more pleasant including a proper mouthguard so I didn't feel like I was swallowing fragments of my tooth. It took him about 30 mins and the best part there wasn't any pain. Leaving with the anesthesia still in effect but I'm so pleased. Positive I won't be going anywhere else if needed. Co-pay $225, experience - priceless. read more

I cannot recommend this office. Not only is the staff dismissive and the office manager condescending, but the quality of care is also subpar. Both my wife and I have had root canals performed here prior that eventually failed and required retreats because the work wasn't done correctly the first time. Most recently, we both took time off work for her scheduled procedure (root canal), only to have the doctor spend five minutes with her before sending her away-ignoring my wife and the dentist's referral entirely. They realized their error 10 minutes after she left, and refused to see her at that time! Told her she would have to reschedule. Save your time and your teeth, go elsewhere. read more

I've given this office multiple chances, but after today, I will never return. Both my husband and I took a day off work. I was scheduled for a consultation and treatment (root canal) in one visit. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, the doctor spent less than five minutes with me and dismissed my concerns entirely, despite my dentist's referral. The lack of coordination is stunning! After speaking to my dentist, they called me 10 minutes after I left the office to re-schedule the exact appointment l had just shown up for. (My dentist shared with them exactly what I shared when I made the appointment, to the xray technician, and Dr. Han. The doctor was too worried about how young I looked.) The office manager was condescending, and the overall environment is cold and dismissive. Given that both my husband and I have had failed root canal procedures here in the past that required retreats, the lack of patient care and empathy is the final straw. As my dentist said, "Not everyone in the medical field has tact or empathy and should be dealing with patient care." I wouldn't recommend this office to my worst enemy! read more

Dr. Kwon did a difficult root canal on me and he was excellent, professional and caring. When I went back to my regular dentist for the follow up she said he did a fantastic job. I am very happy and highly recommend this practice. read more

i was told by this office I needed to sew my dentist before I went to them before they can do a retreat so I did. my dentist called them and asked if they can see me that day because I was in pain, they said that couldn't see me for another week and if they did , it would only be for a consult. I explained and the office explained that I had pain. read more

I dont do reviews but.. It was harrd to get an appointment quickly. Obviously a busy office. Had a root canal from Dr. E. I was nervous as I never had one. He put me at ease. I was in pain for 3 months before. No pain during, no pain after. Seems like he was real busy in and out of rooms waiting for me to get numb. Ignore the chaos. I am in zero pain after. Seems like a nice guy too. What else could you ask for? As someone who was apprehensive about going I can say that I would highly recommend. I was treated here twice . The first experience was really good ,but I do remember waiting a good 30 minutes despite having an appointment. Dr. Kagan 's personality does put you at ease. The second time around I did not have to wait long( although I did call and told them I will be leaving if I waited longer than 20min). I highly recommend this office for root canal treatments. You may have to wait a little longer to schedule an appointment but well worth it. Dr. Einnender was able to save my tooth and do some reconstruction work required for it. Prior I went to another Endodontics and they could not perform the root canal and told me to get the tooth pulled. read more

If I could give more than five stars I would. I got there early, because that's just me... Was taken right away no problems. Everyone was cheerful and courteous from the front staff to the dental assistant to Dr. Kagan. Very professional from beginning to end. Dr. Kagan and the dental assistant made sure I was comfortable at all times, and as I knew this was not going to be an easy case, I was astonished at how easy dr. Kagan made it seem! This office was nothing but amazing from the girl when you first walk in was nice and welcoming. I was recommended due to a root canal that was poorly done by a previous dentist who was the worse in Brooklyn. My current dentist office which is amazing the dentist did not want to touch the area he recommended me to thus office to see specialist Dr. Kagan because I was in extreme pain couldn't bite down and he wanted me to be seen by a specialist. Upon arrival the office is clean bathroom is cleans the ladies there were all helpful and amazing. Dr. Kagan did her Xrays needed to see if she can save the tooth or not and it was two step process for a root canal re-treatment and it was so painless I would only come to her and recommend her for all future root canals if I ever need or know anyone who needs one. This doctor would see you bleed to death if you don't have a payment up front when you visit. We DO have insurance covered and presented. Our dentist sent my wife here today for root canal check. They refused to check her without paying first. I told them on the phone that I can send check from HSA account for the amount they asked for, but they refused to check on her unless the payment is made. We lived in New Hyde park many years, all doctors we visited had no issue to accept HSA check after visit except this doctor. Ridiculous! read more

I had a great experience--as great as you can have during a root canal. Dr. Kagan is very professional, personable, kind, caring and she made absolute sure I was perfectly comfortable at all times. My two root canals were a bit challenging, but she was patient and gentle and knew what she had to do to ensure my comfort. I hope this is it as far as me ever needing a root canal again. I needed to have an old root canal redone and was referred to this office and specifically Dr. Luba... she was so incredibly nice and gentle. Made me feel at ease and comfortable. She kept asking if I was ok during the procedure and gave me very detailed instructions for post-op care. The staff at the front desk are also very nice and friendly and they are very much on top of social distancing and cleanliness in the waiting area and in the office. read more

Came here once for a root canal- appointment was for 10:45 AM. I got there at 10:30. Filled out my paperwork and was sitting there until 11:45 pm. I asked what was taking so long and they told me that the dentist was with another patient. The reason they called me in early was to fill out paperwork, which I understand- but they kept me waiting. They were not giving me any updates until I asked. I rescheduled and left. Unfortunately, I could not make that appointment and planned on rescheduling at another time. I called back- EXTREMELY Unprofessional. Tried making an appointment and they told me they would call me back to make one. Kept me on hold for over 10 mins when I asked WHY they would need to call me back. Never heard of this before. I called back on another line- they picked up within 2 rings and so I asked why they had me on hold on the other line for OVER 10 minutes. She was laughing and said we told you we would call you back and I did not want to keep you on hold. I proceeded to ask her- but you already HAVE me on hold. And you're laughing. She had no answer for me. RUDE RUDE RUDE. UN PROFESSIONAL. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. Management is crap and their receptionists have an attitude. Please hire better staff. ACTUALLY maybe the receptionists should go to school and get better paying jobs. Educate yourselves and get a better career. TERRIBLE, an absolute garbage office. read more

Dr. Luba Borukhova made me feel at ease and was so gentle. She is amazing and really knows what she is doing. Dr. Jessica Kagan broke my tooth while performing root canal. She didn't explain any part of the procedure, rushed through the treatment, and overall had poor communication and results. There is a strange dynamic between the assistants and provider; they are only standing for their paychecks. Receptionist had a negative attitude saying if she could be somewhere else she would. Dr. Jessica Kagan is the same way with going as fast as possible without explaining the treatment. She broke my tooth, not worth paying $1000+ ...Reconsider going to a different provider... quality patient care should always come first read more

Stay away! Unorganized and unprofessional staff. This place has no respect for anyone's time. On the day of my root canal procedure they called me 45 min before my appointment time to tell me to come now (I am assuming someone cancelled the last min) so I arrived 30 min before my appointment time. 15 mins after I checked in a guy came in for an "emergency" root canal. They basically gave him my appointment slot. When I questioned the front desk they nonchalantly brushed it off and insisted they cannot predict these emergency appointments. However when the guy "with the emergency" was checking in I overheard him clearly stating to the front desk that he called earlier and they told him to come in at this time even though they knew I was arriving for the same procedure! Keep in mind there was only 1 endodontics in the office so he took MY time slot. To further add more insult after waiting 1.5 hours for this guy to finish his procedure, another patient comes in afterwards and they called her in after he was done?! Like how does that make any sense?! Am I invisible? Did we not have this conversation why I'm still waiting 1.5 hours after my appointment time?! They didn't bother explaining anything to me and called the girl in. So I got up and walked away after 1.5 hours of waiting for nothing and btw their waiting room is disgusting and outdated - I can't imagine what kind of technology they have inside. As I left they never even blinked an eye at me and keep in mind I was the ONLY patient in the entire waiting room. They never even bother to call to ask where I went, never apologized or anything. I had a root canal done by Dr. Kagan. I am certainly no expert on root canals, but Dr. Kagan did the root canal with no discomfort or drama. I was out in less than an hour. I have had no pain since the procedure was done ( 11 hours ago). I heartily recommend Dr. Kagan ( I don't know anything about the other endodontists who are at the office). read more

I was seen here as an emergency patient. As a very nervous patient, Dr Einbender put me at such ease the entire way through. I was very worried about getting my first root canal and I can honestly say it was not bad at all. It was very quick and even after I was not in much pain at all.
