That being said, when I lived in Southern California I had a few places that I would go to that were really inexpensive. I say that because sometimes I'm in a hurry and just want to get a fast pedicure. You know, a nail salon is a nail salon as a nail salon. Until it isn't. I thought I was going to some average strip mall nail salon while I was stuck in the Phoenix area, waiting for my car to get fixed. But I was pleasantly surprised by this place. For one, everything is very neat and very tidy. The pedicure chairs are very recent, and stylish with glass footballs. I know it's a little thing, but it shows pride in ownership and the image the store wants to put out there. I will say, the basic men's pedicure is $33. That is about double of what I normally pay back in Southern California when I go. So I was eager to see what the extra money would get me. I will say this. My technician was really awesome. Sweet middle-aged Asian lady, who was very mindful to make this a pleasant experience. Some pedicure places get a little bit rough with the tools, she was very gentle, and dare I say loving as she was taking care of my feet. Pedicure for sure. I got to brag on the massage chairs. They seemed like they were updated and new. You know those massage chairs where you feel like someone is barely tapping your back? Not this one. This one felt like someone was actually rubbing out the knots in my back. I could have stayed there all day if they would have let me. The basic men's pedicure also included a foot and leg massage.. definitely not long enough, but what a great treat at the end of your pedicure. Bottom line? If I am ever back in Arizona in this area again this is going to be my go-to place to get my toenails done. You definitely owe it to yourself to go check this place out, you will not regret it!

As I approached the front counter, I politely asked, "Do you have an opening for two mani and pedis?" The woman at the front responded rudely, "Okay, go pick out your nail color," while rolling her eyes and walking away with an obvious attitude. That first interaction immediately made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I hadn't even received a service yet, and I already felt like I was being treated differently for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, the experience was enough for me to walk out without spending a dime. I cannot speak to the quality of their services because I chose not to stay, but customer service starts with how you treat people when they walk through the door. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

I had gel removed from my toenails and regular put on, as I need to have them re-done in a week (with gel) prior to a trip. The last gel pedi I received was from here as well. The only two times I've been. I'm not coming back. The first time, with a gel pedi, the lady didn't polish to the edges of the nail. This time, it's a plethora of thins. I don't even know where to begin. My toenails are different lengths. I like them short/square. The pinky toenail and the ones next to it, on each foot, were not even cut! The big toenails are cut at an angle. A very visible angle. The polish itself is bumpy and very uneven. BUFF THE NAILS if you remove gel and replace with regular polish!!!! This isn't rocket science. She had the file/buffer in her hand, but was shaking over thin air, hitting the edge of a toenail here, maybe twice. I can give myself a better pedicure. Seriously. I now wish I would have, but since I don't own a dremel (who does) to get the toxic gel off my toenails Only good thing here is that I got regular polish and can remove it myself, right now.
