I would give the alibi a 5 star for it's pizza! I decided to try a different dish as a carry out. Boy, did I make a bad choice. I chose the stuffed shells and they were truly awful. Went for dinner with wife, daughter and another couple and their daughter. Ordered two individual pizzas, patty melt and pasta dish. Took an hour to get our entree. Patty melt was like warm at best, my friend barely touched his pasta dish. Pizza was good for the wives. This was a Wednesday at 7:00pm. Empty tables all over the place so I can't explain the slow service. Sent my patty melt back along with the cold fries. No offer to replace it, no manager to apologize. Overall, the experience was pretty, not bad, but not very memorable. Part of it may have had to do with the loud obnoxious crowd that we got stuck next to, but part of it was that the food was just decent. Although the soup was very good, the pasta I could have made better in my kitchen at home, and with better products. We came in about 10 minutes early with only four people and we didn't know, this lady was unlocking the door and she goes "you guys are 10 minutes early so you going to have to wait at a table because nobody's here." She said it in a insanely rude voice my whole family looked at each other disgusted and we went and sat down. They didn't offer us water or anything and all the waitresses walked around with a frown on her face I met one girl who was training that actually had a smile before that when we walked in and sat down the lady that was being rude was looking at us talking and laughing we all thought she was talking about us. Five minutes later there were people waking in and they were nice as can be to them, I found that really rude and would not recommend ! I was so excited to try Alibi for the first time since I have heard so many wonderful things about the place. My experience took 3 hours since the restaurant was very busy during the dinner rush. The downfall is that letting a new server on the floor on his day 1. Roman mentioned at the beginning that this was his first day and it shows. It took him 15 mins to put in our drink order and another 10 mins to get our drinks. Our food did not show up together and most of the items were missing some ingredients. The appetizer showed up with the entrees and that was a hour and half from ordering. I also had to ask for the pizza I ordered since it did not show up. Unfortunately, I had Roman box it up to go as it was close to closing time by the time we received our food. We had to get our own refills and took 15 mins to get our check. I was really excited to try the pizza for the first time. I just hope the MOD didn't diminish Roman's confidence on his first day, as he just threw him to the wolves. I love Alibi and I love that their menu has a lot to offer; there are so many things to choose from other than pizza !! I rarely eat pizza because I never crave it. I was introduced to Alibi by the owner of where I used to work. During meetings, sometimes they would order pizza and a Greek salad for us. The vinaigrette dressing for the salad is sooo good. I have been coming to the Alibi for years, I can remember as a kid when it was an old house serving pizza, burgers and sandwich's. It is now a very nice building with carryout in the back. Pizza is still their speciality, but the rest of the menu is very strong especially the ribs. Beer is cold and the drinks are mixed well, servers are friendly and helpful. This is casual dining for families and dates. We visit it about once a month. read more

EVERYONE loves this place/pizza (well, except for some ex employees I seem to know) Dark wood and tight tables....decent service. And, I am, by nature a contrarian of sorts (pretentious way to say that I am a huge dick about certain things=) At any rate, really love this pizza. Between the crust, sauce, and roni goo cups, it just seems to be a magical interaction that I have never had anywhere else. The Caesar salad tasted like someone accidentally ladled a honey mustard ounce or two before they realized it was a caesar......doesn't matter. Dog friendly! Wow! I love my dog. I put a vest on my dog and without question I could take the dog into the restaurant. I could see one couple complaining. I spoke to a manager later and he affirmed a policy of dog friendly. Next week I am going back and taking my friends. A couple of them have emotional support animals. Most of them have dogs, one has a cat. We are going to have our emotional support Christmas party at Alibi! They get it. The service was slow, the food was okay. This was my first time visiting Alibi and I would visit again for their pizza alone. I was there with two other people and the restaurant was not very busy. The service was not great. It took an extremely long time to get out drink orders taken and then to order our food. We ordered two pizzas, breadsticks, and the Greek salad. All was very tasty and full of flavor. The breadsticks were a little on the salty side but were super fresh with perfect texture. The cups with water had something floating in the glass and when I asked for a new glass the server was not pleasant. I was brought another dirty glass. Before I even knew what a foodie was, there were certain places that food maybe just tasted better than others. The Alibi was my first memorable experience with "adult food" taste. As a teenager it was like you had to come to the Alibi to experience sophisticated taste, at an age when sophisticated tastes were pretty much anything beyond the neighborhood Wendy's. Really not happy with the service. Calling in my order the other day was told 15-20 minutes but when I got there I had to wait an additional 15. It was standing room only and the way staff were flowing the order traffic was awful. There was a wait for bread so they would hand you your order and have you step away from the counter with it. I was holding my pizzas for a good 10-15 minutes with people bumping into me. I got my hot bread that was still doughy in the middle (not cooked) and that was the only thing that was still hot by the time I got my food home the whole 5 minute ride, but it didn't matter because they weren't edible. My salad was not right, I was given a greek salad and that wasn't my order. This is not the first nor tenth time this has happened. I learned my lesson and will go to Little Ceasars from now on. It's no better dining in. On a busy night I leave my SO and kids in the car to reserve a spot without having the kids go nuts in the lobby...nope, they will not take our reservation unless we are all there. Then the wait staff doesn't bring the entire order when we order it...a side of ranch? Extra napkins? Not happening. So I guess we are not Alibi people after all these years. read more

Ok, first time there, and was pleasantly surprised. We had a large group of 27. Managment did what they could to accomodate us on a busy day. The server we had was great, no complaints there. We ordered Pizza, Antipasto Salad and breadsticks. I will give the salad and breadsticks 5 stars, really good. I was not as crazy about the pizza as some, but none the less it was still very good. We get Alibi carry out quite often and it's very frustrating when more often than not, there is an issue. Today we ordered pizza and antipasto salad. When my husband came home, we realized we were given the wrong dressing. Anyone who has had the antipasto knows the dressing is what makes the salad amazing. I called to speak to the manager and was told we could come pick up the correct dressing. Living in northern Rochester Hills doesn't make that an option. The manager then offered to give us 1/2 off our next salad which was not acceptable. We spend a lot of money there and we didn't even touch the salad without the dressing. After talking further with the manager, he agreed to credit our next salad. Again, we love the food, I just think they need to work on their customer service and order checking. read more
