Our homeowners that were behind in their dues were personally contacted in a gracious way & worked out payment plans that caught a lot of the homeowners up without having to go through a lawyer to collect funds. We got our properties getting new roofs & helping repair things that had been neglected for quite while! Our neighborhood…read morechanged HOA management companies and I was doing recurring monthly payments through my bank to Houston HOA Management. I was not aware of the change in HOA companies (the new HOA was given the wrong email address for me). I had 2 months of payments that went through until I was notified by a letter in the mail from the new HOA company stating that I was behind on payments. I reached out to Houston HOA Management and have been trying to get this resolved but they are either not available when I call or do not respond to emails. On one occasion, I called to talk to Florence since I had been emailing back and forth with her and never heard back. While I was on hold waiting to speak with her, she sent me an email instead and would not talk to me on the phone. I was sent my statements which showed that I had a late fee since the HOA monthly dues increased. I had forgotten about this after the holidays since they sent the letter in December and dues increased in February. It would have been nice to send a letter or email reminding me instead of giving me a late fee without letting me know. I have called each day to get everything resolved so that I can get caught up on my outstanding balance with the new HOA management and no one will talk to me. I wanted to verify that the check was sent to the new HOA management company since they said they still haven't received it and to also discuss the late fee. It doesn't seem like a hard request but now I received another EMAIL saying that they are no longer my HOA company and that I need to discuss this with the new management company. My issues/ questions are with Houston HOA Management- not the new HOA company. I tried calling Houston HOA Management after I received that email and once again, no one was available to talk to me. I do not recommend this company and will be reporting them to the BBB.

    Worst management company I have ever dealt with…read more There is a tree next to my townhome that the HOA is responsible for maintaining. It was supposed to be a dwarf magnolia, but it has clearly turned out to be a full-size magnolia growing directly beside my home. I submitted a request to have it removed on 3/22/2026, and as of today, I have received zero meaningful communication or resolution. I have now called THREE separate times: * 4/30/2026 - I was told, "I'm so sorry, I'll contact the landscape company right away." * 5/13/2026 - After nothing happened for two more weeks, I called again and was told it needed to go before the board, which was meeting the next day, and that I would receive a callback. * 5/22/2026 - Still no response, no update, and now "Jackie" is apparently unavailable. Meanwhile, I pay $240 per month in HOA dues for what amounts to mowing a tiny front yard every couple of weeks and trimming bushes with a weed eater, yet they cannot even address a legitimate issue involving a tree that could eventually damage the exterior of my home. Since the exterior of the building is supposedly their responsibility, you would think they would want to handle the issue before it becomes a far more expensive repair later. Extremely disappointing communication and management.

I have lived at my current…read moreaddress almost 12 years and before the property owner turned all of his properties over to Ashoka Lion I really enjoyed where I live. This past summer while my brother and I were both at home recovering from kidney transplant surgeries the downstairs air conditioner compressor went out . I had to make 3 request for repair and all they did was to sent out someone with no experience to put in freon and to shoot the water hose on the unit. Still not fixed. Then a couple of months ago while sitting in the family room a squirrel digs a whole in the foyer and falls out and begins running through the house. I again called for service and they sent the same man they sent to repair the air conditioner 3 days later while the squirrel pooped all over my downstairs area. When he got there he didn't try to get rid of the one in the house or the ones still living in the attic area because they continue to come in thru the worn out roof . He sealed the hole in the foyer and the one under the roof line and then when I complained. He put traps on the attic and never returned like he promised he would. Fast forward to the last couple of weeks where I'm sure the freeze killed the squirrels up there and then I was forced to live with large horse flies in the master bath and my closet. When I called again they sent they guy back on yesterday 2/5 and he left the house with a large trash bag of dead squirrels and told my brother they would need to fumigation the attic. I have never dealt with such stupidity and then when I requested a manager to speak to I was told by the person on the phone that they could not give out the direct line. Pretty sure that is because as bad as they are with service they they are afraid of all the calls they'll receive.
