Why am I paying for orthodontic care if I'm trying to jam a nail clipper into my kid's mouth?! Unreal. Maybe choose this practice if you're only doing Invisalign? I'm not sure they were the right choice for us, given all of this, and we've heard of other families making different decisions based on easier before/after school office hours. Just wanted to share for those still making decisions.

I initially heard about this office on google when searching for an orthodontist for my son. They conveniently offer scheduling a new consult via their website. Scheduling was very simple and I thought we were done. Within one hour of scheduling a few weeks ago, I received a text message and 3 missed phone calls from their office. This was a huge turn off as a new patient. I was in a phone meeting At the time so it was very frustrating that they kept calling in such a short amount of time as well as texting. I did call and spoke with their office manager and expressed my frustration at being contacted so many times within such a short time frame. Their office manager stated it was because they needed to reschedule my appointment. At that time I decided not to reschedule and take some time to think. A few weeks later ( today) I decided that maybe it was a one time issue. Sometimes things happen and there is a need to call a patient and reschedule. Unfortunately the same issue happened again today. Within a short time of scheduling online, I was emailed and told they needed to reschedule my appointment. At this point I truly feel that management and the orthodontist need to have a sit down and revamp their online scheduling system or just figure out what is going on. When you have a new patient, you typically want your first interaction to be great. You don't want to have to contact them right away and reschedule. You want things to go smoothly and make a good impression. I had not one but two disappointing experiences with this practice before ever walking in the door and it is at this point that I realize this will not be the office that I want my son going to.

I just turned 27 so traditional braces were absolutely not (purely for vanity reasons) an option for me. The consultation was extremely thorough, his staff extremely helpful and friendly. I wanted to get a second opinion on their recommended patient plan so I had them speak to a family friend who was also my hometown dentist. Dr. Tisseront was more than happy to take the time to call my friend after office hours and spend more than an hour explaining his recommendation. I have been wearing harmony braces (hidden behind your teeth) for three months now and everyone is amazed at how quickly my teeth have moved. I already have a beautiful smile! When all is said and done I will have spent upwards of 10K (they have a very reasonable payment plan) but I don't think I would trust anyone else with my teeth at this point and feel like this was a truly an investment well made.

I had one made there, but when I went to pick it up, I noticed it wasn't fitted to cover all of my upper teeth. I had called around 6 months ago to schedule a consultation for my 9 year old who will definitely need braces. Our appointment was scheduled at 9:45, so trying to be courteous of the fact that he was a new patient and needed time to fill out paperwork, we arrived early. Apparently with this office you have to wait outside and then they will call you in. After it was past his appointment time I called their office. The woman who answered the phone stated that they made a mistake and "texted the wrong patient." So the text they sent us was not for us and I guess we didn't have an appointment that day . The text specifically said my sons name and the fact that this wasn't caught ahead of time was disappointing. The worst part about the whole visit was the woman who works at the front desk, she was awful. One issue is they either need to change the batteries in their thermometer or buy a new one. She came out of the office and while we were talking about what can be done since we are already there, she took my temperature and told me I was running a fever of 102 and "needed to calm down for a minute ". This was not only false but not at all appropriate to say to a patient. She then ran back in the office and came back out and took my temperature and said okay it looks like you calmed down and told me my temp was 94.6 which I don't think she realized is also inaccurate. She kept referring to me by my first name without even asking if it's okay. She kept putting an emphasis on my first name like I was a child being scolded. Super disrespectful. She mentioned that they didn't take our insurance which would have been nice to know ahead of our visit . I think with ortho it's pretty typical to pay some amount out of pocket but she didn't even talk about that option with us . I do see why patients like this practice though. It is very clean and updated on the inside and Dr Kim was extremely nice and had great bedside manner. Their assistant was also very nice. We have chosen another practice that also does not accept our insurance but the difference is that their customer service is fantastic.
