After reading these OLDER THAN DIRT reviews, I'm surprised no one has updated! This smoke shop is almost a landmark in fallbrook. The owner is a wonderful guy who will make sure you receive great service but he won't stand for people trying to pull a fast one! He's been in business for a very long time and he will make sure to provide you with any special orders you might want! Sure, the lounge had to be closed because of the people who can't respect other people's things. For those who said in their reviews about a female employee who was rude, let me enlighten you about her. She was dealing with stage 4 cancer and was brave to the end! The owner was wonderful towards her during her employment and kept her busy at her own pace. Some items might be a little more expensive than others but he's trying to make a living like all of us and if you haven't noticed, fallbrook is far from normal civilization. We support our small businesses and we are a tight community. They have always been kind to me so if they weren't to you, it's probably your attitude. read more

At first i was hesitant to go after reading some reviews, but i am glad i came here and had a great experience. The place has been renovated and the service is awesome, their hookah is the best in town and the owner is a nice guy who took care of us the whole time. I really recommend this place if your trying to chill, hang out and smoke a great hookah. read more

Great business, love the owner, workers are always cool except there's been one dude who upcharges without consent from owner and has a whole ass telephone poll up his lazy ass, always watching YouTube even when customers walk in and not friendly at all. Horrible smoke shop. Was LIED to by an employee. The other night I was in need a new pipe. It was about 845 or so, look up these guys online and i see the hours are till 10. Just to make sure I call the store, sure enough the person that answered the phone assured me that the hours were till 10...even repeating that the info is online... Bout 915 I hop in my truck and make the drive down to the shop and wouldn't you know that the place is CLOSED..... The next day I go in to to let them know of my experience and was called a liar and I must have been mistaken and that I did not come by the store and see it closed Do not go into this shop, go either north or south 15 min and you will have FAR better choices and stores that will be able to service all of your needs read more

Both the owner and woman who works here are RUDE and not at all interested in customer service. Prices are way higher and selection limited. Sadly, they have let their hookah bar go to . This place is one big headache from the time you get there to the time you leave. The parking lot is a complete joke, especially if there's already a couple cars there. Then you walk in and the employees just sit there giving you a dumb look until you ask them for help. Although IT IS their job to assist you - they do it with an attitude, acting like bratty kids who were just told to do their chores. They did happen to carry the vape mod and tank I was looking for, but it was $30 more than I've seen it at other smoke shops. When I asked the employee if he could go down on the price since it seemed a bit high, he just laughed and tried to make it sound like it was already some great bargain. So I said "F this place" and went to another smoke-shop where I was right, I found the same product for over $30 less. If you're looking for a smoke-shop in Fallbrook - do yourself a favor and skip this place. Smoke Chalet (on Mission) or Fallbrook Smoke Shop (on Fallbrook Ave - by Major Market) both have better customer service and a better selection with lower prices. Last time I was in and last time I will ever go in: So they use the "SpotOn" rewards system, and I had made enough transactions to get the 10% discount there. So I decided to go have a look at their pipe selection. I ended up purchasing a $45 water pipe and scanned my SpotOn card and lo and behold, the tablet displays: "You get 10% off! Show this screen to the cashier!" To which I did show the idiot cashier the screen. She somehow gets the idea that when a system tells you to give 10% off, to tell me it will be taken off next time I'm in the store. To which I told her that was asinine and I wanted my money back (haven't even left the store yet) and she tells me they don't do refunds. I've spent a lot of money here over the past years as they used to have great staff and a great vibe inside the hookah lounge. But this new older employee I was forced to have the unpleasant experience of dealing with needs to be removed from the picture. read more

This place is great! Just moved to the area and was about to drive all the way up to OC when I came across it. The owners are friendly, the hookah was good quality, prices were not only right on par, but since they are the only "Gin Joint" in town beyond reasonable because they are not trying to take advantage of that. I went with the intention of staying for only an hour and ended up staying until closing time because it was just that nice. If you are in the area and want hookah, this is the place to go! read more

Finally someone opened a hookah lounge in Fallbrook and it's a great one too. I went there with couple of friends last Friday and we really enjoyed our time. Service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. What else can you ask for? read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My date and I got there on a Saturday night, excited to enjoy a 4.5-star hookah lounge. I was envisioning a lounge similar to hookah lounges in Vegas and San Diego- soft lighting, melodic and slightly new-Agey music, cushy retro couches, private rooms offset from the main floor, etc. What we found when we ventured into the "lounge" (conveniently located next to Fallbrook's foremost drinking establishment, The Saloon, proffering both cocktails and beer, reminding me of the famous Blues Brothers line from the country bar "We got both kinds [of music]; country AND western!", above the local Fallbrook chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous) was apparently half of a double-wide trailer. That's what it looked like, at least. Or the work trailer of a construction foreman. It was garishly lit by overhead fluorescent lights, and we were greeted by the apparent hookah barnacle seen in Southern California living rooms- someone who doesn't work there or live there but spends enough time there they should be paying rent. After awkwardly standing around waiting for the owner (head of the double-wide household?), my date found him in the other half of the double-wide, the smoke shop. We got a hold of the individual, he started getting our hookah ready, and we occupied the last open faux leather couch (probably in need of a good Lysol'ing) and waited. And waited. About 10-15 minutes later, after engaging in a small amount of unpleasant conversation with the barnacle, our hookah showed up. Admittedly, the hookah was pretty good quality. That's where the line was drawn in the sand, however. We smoked for a few seconds next to the other residents of the "lounge" (living room?) who seemed intent on smoking as much hookah and eating as much take out from various containers (lending an additional air of 'eau du someone's house' to the vibe of the lounge) while furiously trying to ignore each other as much as possible. Just as the deafening silence of the trailer got the best of me, and I whipped out my phone about to YouTube Spottieottiedopalicious (the best smoking song ever made), our ears were assaulted by blaring dubstep from the turntables of the lounge owner/apparent amateur DJ. After feeling our teeth begin to chatter, and fearing for my fillings, we ran from the lounge as quickly as possible, the robotic strains of dubstep chasing us out the door and onto the street. It was pervasive. The dubstep was almost absorbed into the fabric of our clothes, much like the smell of the hookah we barely had time to smoke. While I realize that this review may sound pretentious and finger-waggy, I feel that its important to caution people who've ever been ANYWHERE and smoked hookah about what they are getting into. Proceed with caution, unless you really enjoy smoking at a distant friend's house and sitting on a couch that may or may not be a home to wayward Cheetos and semen. read more

This "lounge" is why Yelp needs to invest in a negative star rating. Its the first hookah spot in a very long time that had me feeling physically ill by the time i left. I had no issues with service at first. The kid sitting there waiting for customers took my order right away and made the hookah. While the coals were still cooking, he disappeared, leaving the constructed hookah by the counter where the coals were cooking. After ten minutes of waiting, i took it upon myself to get up, take the coals off the cooker, and bring my hookah over to the couch that i was sitting at. He came back, apologized, and it was whatever. I don't stress the stupid stuff, especially when i am able to circumvent the issues myself, as i did. I took my first hit, and what appeared to be months and months of built up crud in the bottom of the vase blossomed up. On top of that, i got a mouthful of that grit that accumulates in a hose if left unwashed for too long. I almost puked on the spot. Still, the nice guy/pushover in me gave this place one last opportunity to correct the situation. I told the guy running the show about the situation, and ended up standing there balancing the stem of the hookah with the coals on top of it while he took the vase and attempted to give me a new one. The new (slightly cleaner) vase was a mis-match and didn't fit the stem. At that point, i gave up. This place is a fucking joke that left me feeling disgusted. It needs to be shut down immediately. read more

The first impression of this establishment resembled more of a brightly lit college dorm with old sofas than a "lounge." We passed the owner/employee apparently and walked in, we had to ask around who actually worked here when the only employee finally spoke up. I was pleased to say we decided not to stay, there are much better lounges out there, and I've seen quite a few. This was one of the most awkward looking ones I've come across. read more
