I was carrying my three-year-old Leo B. from a parking garage to a restaurant for dinner when I caught sight of a display of colorful toy cars carrying surfboards, decorated with the words "La Jolla." Leo is a maniac for cars, and I decided to let him pick one, thinking it might keep him occupied and well behaved during our sit-down dinner. He was instantly mesmerized by the array of cars on offer and after taking a minute to consider, he selected a yellow VW bus, which his grandma stepped in and bought it for him. The man working the booth was friendly and pleasant, and we went on our way with the new toy, which did indeed entertain him throughout dinner and beyond. It's been in his top tier of toys all week, a cute, useful souvenir of our trip.

They're all so knowledgeable, friendly, & take the time to make sure you're getting exactly what you need. The shack is always tidy, there's never a long wait, & I love that you get a free water with purchase or when they have little candies out. Jovani even helped & watched me walk to my car one time when there was a sketchy truck circling the parking lot slowing down to look at me.
