They're all so knowledgeable, friendly, & take the time to make sure you're getting exactly what you need. The shack is always tidy, there's never a long wait, & I love that you get a free water with purchase or when they have little candies out. Jovani even helped & watched me walk to my car one time when there was a sketchy truck circling the parking lot slowing down to look at me. This is when I wish zero stars could be an option. I've been to this shop a few times in the past, Dani had been extremely helpful, upbeat, and easy to talk to. I went back yesterday 5/15/20 to purchase a glass piece. We got to talking about how funny different county policies are on water pipe and bong before anything was taken off the selves. I slipped up and said bong instead of water pipe, and he corrected me, told me I cannot use that word in the store. I looked at a few more pieces and asked to see one more piece, followed by "I'm exited for my new bong" the young mans Demeanor completely changed and said "get out of the store now." Confused I said, "what?" He raised his voice even higher and said "get out now you used the word bong five times. Out now!" So I leave the store feeling freakin weird. Inside the shop, there are a couple days that state "DO NOT USE THE B WORD" absolutely nowhere else does it define that you will be kicked out of the store if you use the word more than three times. Was he counting the conversion when I first entered the store? Or? Not wanting another customer to feel humiliated I called the store few minutes after leaving to suggest to the employee to put up signs explaining that customers will be KICKED OUT IF YOU USE THE TERM BONG FIVE TIMES. Immediately his tone got nasty again with me and said "I actually gave you 5 chances instead of 3 so I was being kind." I went on to say that he didn't explain that I would be kicked out, that I understand but explaining that- And that's as far in the phone conversion as I got as the very rude employee wouldn't let me get out a single word. He continued to talk over me and raised voice say, "you're being extremely difficult and I explained the policy to you" and hung up on me. I have NEVER been treated like this from a place of Business. When he wouldn't let me talk, I raised my voice to drown out his, asked him to let me finished and that's when he hung up. I was not upset over the fact I was asked to leave the store. For whatever reason, as Businesses have the right to deny service to anyone. It was the way I was treated when suggesting to put up a sign so other customers would know. If this shop thinks telling someone ONCE not to use bong is an explanation, I'm appalled. Two friends in my car over heard the conversion and were just as shocked as I was. This employee wouldn't let me ask if I was kicked out permanently, or temporarily, in the store, or over the phone. I will be making sure that my friends and family will be following up with a similar review. I hope that man never treats another customer like that again. Obviously everyone is different and reacts differently but I don't EVER want to come home crying from a smoke shop feeling less then. He also allowed a customer to come in for several minutes without a mask using a vaping product that was difficulty, so I will be following up with the county on that as well. There should be video of that really unsafe, transaction. Truly just truly disgusting with this shop. read more

I am a fan. My first choice is to drive down to the coast but sometimes I just need to pick up something cheap or if I broke a piece of something. I love the people that work here because they have all the patience in the world for you to look and ask questions. The prices are hit or miss but when they get an influx of inventory on a product they sell it super cheap. So what I guess I am saying is I shop deals even in a smoke shop and this one is smaller more intimate and more likely to work with you on such products. Puffco peak atomizer 60$ at other shops 35$ Expect to pay a substantial markup on all products. Sometimes you can get lucky with a purchase, but educate yourself and save a lot of money. read more

Great little shop. I vape and hookah, so I dropped in on this store out of curiosity. Lots of items to choose from (just don't call the water pipes "bongs" lol). The girl was very helpful and even though I wasn't buying at the time, she informed me of all the great deals on items I was curious about. So I've shopped here ever since I moved to San Marcos and my ID has never been an issue, but yesterday my boyfriend took me out too an early birthday dinner at hyuga sushi so I didn't have my wallet with me, I mentioned I needed a new grinder so he offered to buy me one we walked over there and the guy that was working was completely rude to us we'd already been browsing for a minute and he was distracted with his mess but as soon as I was discussing prices with my boyfriend he finally asked for our ID's, mind you we've already been in the shop for a couple minutes. Anyway I say I don't have mine on me so I'll go stand outside even though I turn 24 in a day, my boyfriend then proceeds to show his ID which he is 25 by the way and the guy starts to go sell him the grinder then at the register he calls us sketchy, refuses to sell to him and kicks him out saying their policy is strict and he feels uncomfortable about us all because I said I'll wait outside. Again we've already been at the shop for about 15-20 minutes at this time. If the policy is that strict he would have ID us the moment we walked through the door and he wouldn't of wasted our time. But overall it was the being called sketchy that makes it so I will absolutely never return here. read more
