Reluctant at first being a vegetarian, I walk into this restaurant expecting it to be not suited for an indian palate. Also, the prices on the menu made me nervous. My order was custom, requesting for garlic and baba ganoush to be added to my falafel veggie wrap. They did not have garlic but agreed to customize with baba ganoush so plus points for that. The first bite into it was a burst of flavors! Best wrap, and hands down the best falafel I have eaten so far. The falafels were soft from inside and crunchy from the outside, so good that my friends who otherwise don't eat vegetarian food ordered a side of only that! Good food! We ordered baba ghanoush with yogurt sauce. Crazy that an extra lavash bread was $5 but the food was good. We split a falafel wrap (gyro) and a pizza pide. Do not walk by this unassuming place on the main drag of Lake George Village - you would be passing up on something very special. They make their own lavash bread - it's on the gyros which were fantastic - their hummus is excellent - service is pleasant. Lake George is full of touristy and cheesy places to eat. Of the other places to eat I think this restaurant is best option. I know my turkish food as I travelled to Istanbul to gourmet Turkish food. The chef bakes fresh lavash ( turkish) bread. The kebab were tender though I wished it had more flavor. Rice is generously soaked in butter which I like. Complete value for what you pay for ! The place is great, we went on a rainy Memorial Day weekend night, so there were seats. We ordered the Lavesh Bread, and boy is it delicious with the yogurt sauce, it was so good that my table of 7 demanded a second. I had the lamb shish, the curry is amazing with the lamb, there's something they use that really brings out the flavor of the meat. How can I put this? For starters, me and my family were visiting relatives in Lake George and decided to come here just for dinner. First thing we got was just a very rude worker, who was constantly just rushing us to sit when there was literally one family in there. Not only that, but the food was PRICY $$$$ with them just coming in small kid sized portions and it coming out weirdly fast on a disposable plate. I got the falafel meal and it was $15! It was ok, but it just looked sad. Just false advertising in general, with them making the green beans cold and just making it a disappointing experience. There are 12 tables that seat seat 6 people. Two that seat 5. An army of young women waitress / host. They are sweet and hardworking - their english is not clear. We order the falafel platter about $13 and Greek salad about $8 and a cup of water ( tap and free) and a Pepsi ( comes from a soda fountain). We also order the lavash bread that came with a yogurt and tahini sauce. It was ok, not bad, nothing to keep you staying. They took credit cards. An above average mediterranean option in Lake George!!! This place is clean, the staffs are nice and they serve pretty good mediterranean food. I got the turkish coffee to drink which came with a milk choclate on the side. The choclate was so delicious, we asked the server if we could have more, he brought us more without any hesitation. We decided to go straight to entree and not order an appetizer. I ordered the curried chicken kabab which came with rice and a salad. One of my friends ordered the quail. We enjoyed both the dishes very much. We saw the table next to us order this huge freshly wood oven baked bread. Even though we had no room for more food, we got an order of that bread. They made it right in front of us and served it warm with 2 sides of yogurt sauce. That combination went so well. For dessert we got an order of baklava. Underwhelming. What really got me and my family annoyed was the lack of consistent care by the wait staff- I felt like I had to play an unusually civil version of hunger games to grab a waiter's attention. Especially annoying was how we were waiting for a table, and a group that came after us was about to be seated when we motioned we were here first. Food came out on corning dinnerware. My lamb iskender kebab was honestly flavorless, same with the mixed shish kebab. My dad's chicken iskender kebab was Ok, but barely had flavor. Maybe it was because it was rainy and they had a lot of customers and needed to churn out food pronto. Regardless , you could tell the food was made for you because you could see the chefs working your order behind the counter. The redeeming quality of the restaurant is the lavash bread. I don't think this is a Turkish restaurant. First of all they only offer one type of rice and that is (white) rice: Second they don't have any other drinks but sealed bottle expensive drinks!.
