Delicious lamb chops, lamb over rice, spaghetti with tomato sauce, spaghetti with shrimp, curry chicken pizza, pide, etc. Zena was our waitress and she was amazing. I have visited many Mediterranean places and randomly walked into this one for a wrap--this was the best wrap I've tasted in a long time. Incredible mix of moisture, juicy meat, fresh cooked pita. The woman who worked here was also really nice. Highly recommend. read more

Started with an order of grape leaves. Decent amount but they weren't very flavorful. The Lavish Bread came out hot and fresh and served with tzatziki sauce was the highlight of the meal for me. The Greek salad was okay. My Chicken Kebab platter was hefty, but buried under the sauce amongst the actual chicken kebabs, were chunks of bread to give the illusion that you were getting a lot of chicken. I'd say the chicken kebab to bread chunk ratio was 50/50. That's a deal breaker for me. I won't be back. read more

Very pricey for what you get. Beware the pictures on the menu are NOT representative of what hits the table. Portions are smaller. Watch out for the 5 dollar warm drinks you have to fetch yourself from the fridge. No water for tables. No cups for those 5 buck cans of soda, unless you plead. Save your money. read more

The food is great. However, we are vegan, and when I asked the server if one of the sauces was truly vegan she said yes. We ate it and were pretty sure it was like a tzatziki sauce. I was very disappointed with the food choices in Lake George but I am from NYC area so I may be a bit spoiled. This place hit the spot! The food was delicious and authentic. I had a fresh Greek salad and a beef gyro. The bread was fresh made. My kids loved watching them make it. It is a family run business and that was the icing on the cake. We ordered a couple of Mediterranean dishes with soft drinks and was kind shock at the bill. This eatery wasn't a 4 or 5 star restaurant so I thought honestly the prices were way overpriced. Thoroughly impressed by this restaurant. NJ family with 3 small kids, felt very welcome and received excellent and attentive service. The food was phenomenally good, we just decided we had to write this review. I can name more than a dozen Turkish restaurants in Bergen County NJ where I live in and this one is in par or better than the best of them. The really good: I was impressed by the meats - especially the chicken and ribs - Adana was OK by me and excellent by my wife. Fresh prepared pastry. We had a Pide and Lavas - wow. Good veggies, great sauces. Cacik with lot's of fresh garlic, tomato sauce, curry sauce - all perfect. The OK: Entrees come with room temp green beans with sweet sauce - strange choice but it is fine. The price was a bit higher but we felt it was well worth it, We payed $110 for a meal that I would expect cost $90-100 around here. Under Covid restrictions they only had single use plates and silverware which is excusable. Will certainly come back next time when in Lake George. read more

So sad that this place has changed. It used to be my favorite place in Lake George. Every evening I would take the appetizer plate to go and sit by the lake to eat it while the boys played. Not going anymore. Giro had a scary color, salad was old, hummus watery and the second lavash they brought is the one in the picture. And besides all that, the waitress didn't bring any plates at all. I had to call her to bring plates, and she brought two plates for three people so I had to call again for the other plate. But the "hilarious" part was when the main course arrived; she removed the knives from the table in the same time that my husband was looking for it to cut the meat and she didn't care any less; she just left with them. Excellent food, good portion size, no frills presentation. The last point isn't a fault it just is what it is. You come here to eat and you will eat well. The wholesome smell of Mediterranean spices made my mouth water when we walked in. I got the mixed grill; it's pricey but I counted 5 different grilled or stewed meats.
