Warm friendly atmosphere. Lavash bread excellent with yogurt sauce and hummus. Delicious lamb chops, lamb over rice, spaghetti with tomato sauce, spaghetti with shrimp, curry chicken pizza, pide, etc. Zena was our waitress and she was amazing. We had 14 people for a birthday dinner and they were able to accommodate everyone. Highly recommend. read more

Started with an order of grape leaves. Decent amount but they weren't very flavorful. The Lavish Bread came out hot and fresh and served with tzatziki sauce was the highlight of the meal for me. The Greek salad was okay. My Chicken Kebab platter was hefty, but buried under the sauce amongst the actual chicken kebabs, were chunks of bread to give the illusion that you were getting a lot of chicken. I'd say the chicken kebab to bread chunk ratio was 50/50. That's a deal breaker for me. I won't be back. read more

I liked the food so much. So fresh, delicious. Noticed they have a wood fired oven and make the pizza and breads right there. Also ordered American food for the kids. Mozzarella sticks and fries were hot and also made fresh. Kids loved the pizza. Gave us water with our meals. Staff were wonderful. So kind. Nice sit down place with tablecloths that you don't have to worry about your kids messing up. Was peaceful and enjoyed our experience very much. read more

I have visited many Mediterranean places and randomly walked into this one for a wrap--this was the best wrap I've tasted in a long time. Incredible mix of moisture, juicy meat, fresh cooked pita. The woman who worked here was also really nice. Highly recommend. read more

Amazing food, very nice service! This was very good, and even though they were understaffed, they still managed to get our food on time!

Fabulous!! great , delicious food!!!! must get the lavish bread to start! would recommend taking a stop if you are in the area

Very pricey for what you get. Beware the pictures on the menu are NOT representative of what hits the table. Portions are smaller. Watch out for the 5 dollar warm drinks you have to fetch yourself from the fridge. No water for tables. No cups for those 5 buck cans of soda, unless you plead. Save your money. read more

Went here on Memorial Day weekend and the food was fresh and very tasty. The hummus was very good and the lavash bread was made fresh and came to our table steaming hot . We will definitely be back on our next visit here read more

Very kind customer service, all the food was cooked fresh and portions were very fair for the price.

The food was ok. We ordered the falafel platter which was not great. The center of the falafel had a very strange texture, it was very creamy almost the consistency of hummus. The lamb/beef inskender was plentiful in size. Meat was a bit tough but the sauce was delicious. The rice was tasty too Oddest part about this place is they only have bottled water. I asked for a glass and the guy said he could give me some from the faucet‍ read more

They have the best bread and Greek salad in town; generous portion; friendly people and fast service.

4.5 stars. Good food and came timely during the crazy Labor Day weekend. We had chicken with cherry sauce. The chicken was a bit dry but the overall dinner was good. I would definitely come back to try another dish! read more

Amazing, homemade food Don't waste your time for pizza any else just come to Ali Baba and eat their delicious Pide and fresh tender meats read more

The food is great. However, we are vegan, and when I asked the server if one of the sauces was truly vegan she said yes. We ate it and were pretty sure it was like a tzatziki sauce. I googled it and found out that's exactly what it was- made with yogurt=not vegan. Again, the food is excellent, but be careful if you have certain food allergies. read more

I was very disappointed with the food choices in Lake George but I am from NYC area so I may be a bit spoiled. This place hit the spot! The food was delicious and authentic. I had a fresh Greek salad and a beef gyro. The bread was fresh made. My kids loved watching them make it. It is a family run business and that was the icing on the cake. If you are in the area and are tired of your typical burger/bar food place try this. Thank you for the first good meal since I have been in Lake George! read more

Whenever we vacation in Lake George, Alibaba Express is our top pick for dinner or take-out. Their appetizer plate is a staple for us, offering a delicious assortment of flavors that never disappoints. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxed dinner, and the convenience of their take-out service fits seamlessly into our vacation vibe. Wife and I decided to try lunch here for the first time. There was only one other party of three while we were there. Spacious, clean, open eating area and the wait staff was very friendly. We ordered a couple of Mediterranean dishes with soft drinks and was kind shock at the bill. This eatery wasn't a 4 or 5 star restaurant so I thought honestly the prices were way overpriced. Almost $70 for 2 simple dishes? For lunch? Come on now. Will we go back to dine? Don't think so but may return if the prices decrease a bit. read more

Great food and super fast. The portions are large so be ready for it. Great service at this family owned spot.

We had a wonderful meal here. The staff are so friendly, and the grape leaves, baba ganoush and chicken in cherry sauce were excellent. Their homemade lavash bread arrives steaming and fragrant on a wooden platter. The falafel platter was a bit underwhelming (no pickles, and a somewhat bland side salad), but the falafel itself is tasty. read more

Fast and delish falafels right in the heart of the village. Nice people, nice service

Should have listened to the reviews, overpriced terrible food (e.g. runny hummus) and bad service. Restaurant staff don't care!

Thoroughly impressed by this restaurant. NJ family with 3 small kids, felt very welcome and received excellent and attentive service. The food was phenomenally good, we just decided we had to write this review. I can name more than a dozen Turkish restaurants in Bergen County NJ where I live in and this one is in par or better than the best of them. The really good: I was impressed by the meats - especially the chicken and ribs - Adana was OK by me and excellent by my wife. Fresh prepared pastry. We had a Pide and Lavas - wow. Good veggies, great sauces. Cacik with lot's of fresh garlic, tomato sauce, curry sauce - all perfect. The OK: Entrees come with room temp green beans with sweet sauce - strange choice but it is fine. The price was a bit higher but we felt it was well worth it, We payed $110 for a meal that I would expect cost $90-100 around here. Under Covid restrictions they only had single use plates and silverware which is excusable. Will certainly come back next time when in Lake George. read more

So sad that this place has changed. It used to be my favorite place in Lake George. Every evening I would take the appetizer plate to go and sit by the lake to eat it while the boys played. Not going anymore. Giro had a scary color, salad was old, hummus watery and the second lavash they brought is the one in the picture. And besides all that, the waitress didn't bring any plates at all. I had to call her to bring plates, and she brought two plates for three people so I had to call again for the other plate. But the "hilarious" part was when the main course arrived; she removed the knives from the table in the same time that my husband was looking for it to cut the meat and she didn't care any less; she just left with them. So disappointed! read more

Worst food in my life. I live in Brooklyn and have gone to Turkish restaurants for decades. This is not the worst Turkish restaurant i have been to, this is the worst restaurant PERIOD. Anyone that gives this a high rating was either high, never ate Turkish before or works there. And the workers are terrible too. SAVE YOUR MONEY. read more

Good service and delicious food. Place is located on the busy tourist area so food is fresh. We had grilled chicken salad and grilled salmon with rice and veggies. Both dishes were delicious. The only thing, Ali Baba doesn't have outdoor seating. Indoor place looks cramped with fixtures giving place shabby feel. Other than that good to grab a bite on the go. read more

VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! This is the most delicious Mediterranean food I have had in 2 years. We visited Lake George in June 2021 and stumbled upon this restaurant on the beautiful street across the lake. We returned here again today and made it a point to grab 2 meals here in 3 days. Absolutely love the lavash bread and baba ganoush. The falafel plate and wrap was moist and flavourful. read more

On a trip from Maine I stopped by here for something different. There aren't so many food options where I'm from. I originally thought, that's a little expensive. Afterwards, however, I felt as though they should've charged double because it was the best meal of my trip. Excellent portions, fresh, kind staff, the list goes on and on. Absolutely great. I would make this trek just to eat here again. read more

Excellent food, good portion size, no frills presentation. The last point isn't a fault it just is what it is. You come here to eat and you will eat well. The wholesome smell of Mediterranean spices made my mouth water when we walked in. I got the mixed grill; it's pricey but I counted 5 different grilled or stewed meats. The whole dish was delicious and I would look forward to getting it again. read more

My wife and I were on vacation at Lake George. After a boat ride tour of Lake George we walked the strip on Canada St. My wife and I decided to try something different and we saw this place served Mediterranean food. OMG, this was awesome!!
