I got a box of donuts through the app of random variety. It came with a very nice mix of flavors from glazed to sprinkles with a few speciality donuts. The donuts were soft and pillowy with great flavor and texture! Not too oily (which is key for me when it comes to donuts) ! The service was very good. We were taken care of and made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. They were quick and efficient! We took our donuts to go but there were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy. Everything was clean and well maintained. The restaurant also had a variety of other foods aside from donuts so I'm sure you can find something yummy to eat here! Date of visit: April 17, 2025

At $20 for a dozen, the donuts are an excellent value, especially given their generous size. Since they're only open in the mornings and tend to sell out quickly, I'd recommend stopping by early. The setup is simple and old-school, with the donuts arranged in a glass display case and orders taken through a small service window off to the side. Street parking is available nearby, making it fairly easy to grab a box to go. During our visit, the owner was incredibly friendly and even surprised us with complimentary donut holes and a croissant, which made for a great first impression. **Cinnamon Crumb Donut: 5/5** This raised donut was incredibly light and fluffy, with a soft, airy interior. A delicate vanilla glaze provided a subtle sweetness, while the buttery, cinnamon-spiced streusel on top brought a warm, aromatic depth to each bite. **Double Trouble: 5/5** True to its name, the Double Trouble delivered an especially indulgent flavor combination. A smooth chocolate icing coated the pillowy donut, lending a cocoa-forward richness, while a second layer of classic glaze added a mellow, sugary finish that rounded out the decadent flavor profile. Given the impressive quality of everything we tried, Monarch Donuts is well worth a visit. With so many options to choose from, I'd gladly return to try some of the other donuts that caught my eye.

Upon arrival, Jonathan, the owner, offered me a warm welcome. He was very friendly and nice. He shared his humble beginnings on how Monarch Donuts began. Thank you Jonathan for sharing your loving story about your mom and grandmother. I was the only person in line which worked out for me. A few customers arrived shortly after me. All donuts and apple fritters were carefully boxed. I appreciate the special attention and care in the packaging. Thanks! Overall donuts were good, but dough was a bit dense for my taste though. Apple fritters were a great hit! Huge in size. Light in crisp. Tons of apples. Not super sweet which I appreciate it. However, a few of them fell apart when picking them up from the box. I actually don't know how much each donut and apple fritter costs. I didn't ask which was fine. Total bill was about $90+ which wasn't bad at all especially for all the tasty goodness. Highly recommend! Love to return for more tasty apple fritters and cinnamon crumbles.
