I have read quite a lot of horrible stories online about a lot of the websites are not legit, just a scam. I am happy to report that Canada Unlocking is the real deal especially if you have a locked phone from one of the carrier from Canada. I requested their service and in less than 12 hours I received the code by email and it works!!! Highly recommend as the price is 1/3 of what the cellphone company is charging! Canada Unlocking is also a local company in GTA and you are not dealing with someone in Europe or USA! Tips: I would suggest paying by PayPal and read the T&C before dealing with most online companies!

That last point was causing, umm, major problems on both laptops. Nyasha (pronounced NAW-sha) fixed all of the above. While deftly serving other customers. And he allowed me to stay, use his power cords on my laptops while downloading the needed software updates in his shop. This was invaluable. Had I not been in his shop I would not have been able to work through the roadblocks that came up during the downloads. He wasn't even going to charge me for his time! So I'm buying an external keyboard, a keyboard cover, and 2 gigs of RAM to thank him for restoring both of my laptops - and their screens- to high-functioning beauties.

Got a call to pick it up. Was covered in glue. Guy took it to the back and came back two seconds later and said we could keep and you leave and come back while we clean it or give a discount. Huh? You want me to leave while you clean all the glue off then drive back? Pretty sure they were playing video games when I came in. Avoid this overpriced amateur spot. "But it's only the on/off switch," I bleated. They claimed it was all one component. (Spoiler alert: bullshit.) Then I contacted CPR. They quoted me less than half. I had to give them half of that ($50) so they would order the part. They kept me apprised every step of the way, and accurately managed my expectations. Then met them. When they received the part, I dropped off my phone. They helped me put it into maintenance mode; so my apps and data were protected. Yay! I got a call when the phone was ready.
