This particular location is super clean, while also being easy to find and park at. I had Brooke as my stylist, and she was phenomenal. Not only did my hair turn out exactly as I wanted, but she was friendly and personable. I enjoyed chatting with her during my appointment. As always, I asked for The Cosmo from their lookbook. I was in a wedding later in the day, so I didn't have Brooke brush it out for me. It fell quite a bit on it's own before the wedding, but a quick flip of my head as Brooke instructed and it was perfect. I love the whole line of Drybar products, but she really nailed it in her selection of which ones to use on my hair. I don't find myself in CDA very often, but if I ever do again, I'll be sure to stop in. It was well worth the drive from Spokane!

When I have moved for school, it was always hard trying to trust someone else with my hair, sometimes I would wait to come home for holidays in order to avoid finding a new stylist. She was scattered, dropping bowls of product, running an hour behind.... I wanted a full haircut....she cut my bangs then started blow drying... I reminded her I wanted a haircut... she then proceeded to randomly pick pieces of my hair up and cut and laughed saying with layers it really doesn't matter if hair is cut evenly. Shane is from California & he does lived-in, beachy blonde hair very well. & Blonde hair is difficult to get right. A lot of expensive professionals have done an "ok" job on my hair in the past. So with my friend saw what a wonderful job Shane did, it was pretty impressive. Shane is also a Down to earth, nice and unpretentious stylist. Yes, you read that right, an unpretentious hairstylist. I found him while he was in Portland. & I hope Idaho takes advantage of his skills! Some things stylists do wrong: make hair too blonde, excessive use of hair- damaging heat, brassy tone. I have been a loyal client for over 4 years, I've seen the same hairdresser for that entire time…read more For 4 years, I have come in once every 3 months for a cut and color. My last service had issues that warranted a correction, my stylist was more than happy to go ahead and make the necessary corrections to my hair. Unfortunately the correction she made faded within two weeks time. I called to see if I could come in and have her look at my hair and see why it faded so quickly and what we could do to make a more permanent solution to the corrections she made. The owner reached out to me Instead. I was told I was aggressive. She didn't like my tone and when I explained to her that was my personality I have a sharp tone I'm also very direct, but by no means was I disrespectful. I'm just a to the point kind of gal. The service I received was garbage. The work that was done was lazy and it was giving Great Clips quality. I'm sorry those facts hurt your feelings, but charging someone over $300 you'd expect from a "high-end salon" better service. I was cut off, my personality and character were criticized, I was judged, and then I was told that she is cutting all ties and I'm not allowed to come back to her salon. She then graciously wanted to throw in she'll refund me. In 2026 people have problems paying rent, getting quality medical policies, and feeding their child, luxuries like hair and nails are not something that women are prioritizing anymore. Lindsay (Owner) if you see this message, I hope it humbles you because the clients that grace you with their presence and utilize your services are what keep your business afloat. You just took a 4+ year client away from a senior stylist now I'm sure my $300 every three months isn't going to damage her pocketbook, but have enough transactions like that and it will. My suggestion to you would be to work on your conflict resolution, because it's garbage-- much like you management skills :) Have the day you deserve
