I just bought a 2011 SRX. Initially I worked with LJ and Olivia (Sales Reps) who were very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I got a reasonable trade in value for my car and a good deal on the SRX. I ended up closing the deal with George- Dealership Manager who provided me with many choices within my budget. I enjoyed the no pressure sales approach. This is the second Cadillac I bought from them. Over the years I've had the opportunity to also work with Service dept which is more important to me than working with the sales staff. Junior- the Svc Mngr is awsome. He is very helpful and provides a lot of free quick fixes and tips on how to get the most out of the cars features. The svc dept techs seem to be very well trained. I've never had to return the car because the problem was not fixed the first time. If I had to make one recommendation it would be for them to make the waiting area more comfortable/inviting. There is no comparison to the Lexus dealership. Example in order to get a drink of cold water from either sales or service dept someone goes someplace to a cooler and returns with a cup of water. How about putting free bottled water in a fridge (ie like Lexus) and how about a gourmet coffee machine and wifi? Overall my sales/service experiences have been outstanding. I highly recommend them. Check them out--they may be able to save you some money. Just bring your own water. :) While I enjoy the SRX it doesn't have as many bells and whistles as my 2005 STS. read more

wanted to express to the Gm how disappointed I am with what happened to me today. I spoke to you all over the phone as well as my dad about the 2019 Lexus ES 300 hybrid. I drove from Phoenix Arizona yesterday and got to california at 2am and then from there I drove this morning to Oxnard an hour and a half away. I stopped at the bank and got a cashier check for 37K to pay in cash. I triple checked and asked multa times if it was the luxury and had navitgation. Your website says it's luxury. I arrive and not only is it not the luxury which is false advertisement it also doesn't have navigation. All in all I drove 6 hours from Arizona another 3 hours round trip to you all and all for nothing because I was deceived. I understand the car salesman tactic but when you have someone driving from out of state and told the vehicle has features it didn't is very disappointing and time consuming and a lot of money wasted as well. I took pics as I'm sure this may be something Lexus would not like or may be unethical UPDATE! I would like to update my review! My day started on Friday 3/13/15, we were shopping for a new vehicle for our son, his first truck (new vehicle). We were greeted rather quickly by a salesmen (can't remember his name) but we talked options etc, drove a new canyon. This was nice but cramped being a extra cab so we decided we wanted a crew cab. As we went in to give our info and search for one. We were there for hours and was handed off to Johnny mikhail he was great!! He found us a truck and promised he could have it by Saturday afternoon! He was a man of his word! Saturday came and we got there about 4pm did a little negotiating and bought the 2015 GMC CANYON. Now it gets better. I was NOT looking to buy a NEW truck myself but a made a comment that if I can get a deal I could not refuse we maybe able to work something out. I told him I know my credit and I know what I want. So he didn't have what I wanted on the lot so we looked on the net. There was one diesel on the lot but it was too fancy for my taste an about 12k out of my price range. In short Johnny made it happen my son and I both left with 2 2015 gmc's a CANYON AND SIERRA 2500 HD duramax diesel and are more then happy! Even though it took tough negotiating and two nights almost to mid night Johnny had the drive to get us to sign! I will never again purchase or have my vehicle serviced there again! NEVER! I took my vehicle in an hour before my scheduled 3pm appointment on Friday (1/3/20) and was a never called friday afternoon regarding picking up or the status of my vehicle. I took it in for an oil change and radiator service. I never received a call from them on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, I called them starting at noon multiple times on Saturday to find out the status of my vehicle and was never able to talk to a live person; instead, I was directed to the service department voicemail box where I left a message and apparently they do not monitor it daily. Since I did not receive a call back, I went to the dealership Saturday afternoon to see what was going on with my vehicle. Shame on me for not getting there before 4 pm when the service department closes. I tried to talk to someone in the sales office to see if someone could give me any information, which they turned out to be useless. The sales manager said he could not help me because the service department was closed. I did have luck with an online live chat to explain my disappointment and frustration and was told someone would be in contact with me to help me with my issue. That never happened aside for a useless automatic email reply from the customer experience manager stating that my live chat would be reviewed. Monday morning no call! I called them Monday at noon and was told by the service advisior, who initially helped me when I dropped off the vehicle, that he was off on Saturday and was told that someone was supposed to call me. Well no one did. They had to have known that it was not going to be ready Friday before close of business and again no phone call. It's apparent it takes 3 days to listen to their voicemail box because on Tuesday (1/7/20), I received a call from the service advisor and he was told by the customer experience manager to give me a call. I told him I left that message on Saturday. I was called at 4:53 pm Tuesday that my vehicle was finally ready. They discounted $50 dollars off an almost $500 invoice. They might have charged me on this service but it will be the last time I take my vehicle there! Plus they didn't even wash the vehicle when I picked it up. read more

The most dishonest people we've ever dealt with, and we've dealt with a lot of people. We had pretty much the same experience as Mike V. Carlos started out very nice and friendly and soon became incredibly shady. He sold us a used car which he claimed had gone through a full inspection. We had problems with it from day one. We took it back multiple times and they would either deny the problems existed or they wouldn't fully fix them. After months of problems, Carlos finally agreed to let us trade it in for another car. When we went there, he let us test drive another car only to inform us that the blue book value of our car was now half of what we paid for it. We came home and checked the bb website. To our surprise, the car was actually worth almost $5k more than what they told us! Stay away from this place. They have the worst customer service ever. read more

We could not have been happier with our car buying experience here! We went to four different dealerships before here and had a terrible experience. We found this truck online and from the moment we called them until we had the truck everything was easy! They were not trying to take advantage of us, didn't hide fees, and what we saw was exactly what we got. In addition, they DROVE the truck all the way to our house in Beaumont which is a 2.5 hour drive! We are so happy to have our dream car that James Pugliese of the Internet Sales Department set up for us. We were waiting for the catch but there really wasn't one. My husband and I drove home in two cars when we were expecting 'just to look' at the GMC's. We love our Terrain Denali! As for the service department, it's good but not great in my opinion. We have brought in the car three different times for service, and each time we noticed more scratches on the car and it's partly clean, and not usually vacuumed or even cleaned on the inside. We have had the car for four months and we've noticed quite a few chips in the paint especially on the hood. Might try our local shop and see if the service is better. He had me speak with someone regarding the appraisal but he never came out again to speak with me to discuss any issues I had or if I needed any help. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is undoubtably the worst car dealer I have ever been to. They should be embarrassed of how they treat customers. I went to look at the new GMC Denali pickups and was very clear I was just their to look and get info. I told them I wasn't going to buy today and even said "If you see another customer that needs help, please go help them". I wanted to see the trucks in person before I made a decision on what new truck I wanted to purchase. Of course they lead you in and want to talk about numbers. I told them repeatedly that I didn't need numbers since I wasn't going to buy. They were very persistent and finally I said they could do it if they had nothing better to do. Of course they then print numbers and I say thank you and go to leave. Not because I didn't like the numbers they printed, but because I didn't ask for numbers or have any intent of buying that day. Of course the salesman didn't believe me and went to get his manager. The manager then comes over and tries to hard sell me, he pulled out all the classics and then some. THESE ARE ALL ACTUAL THINGS THE MANAGER SAID TO ME. "Why don't you want it today" "What would it take for you to do it today" and "Do these numbers scare you?, We sell cars with $1,000+ payments every day you shouldn't have to sleep on it" "This isn't a mattress store, nothing to sleep on" "I don't go in a restaurant unless I want to eat" "This isn't a Ford dealer what did you expect the payment to be" IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PAYMENTS. PERIOD. I must have told them this 20 times. Lesson to be learned for this poor sales team? The oldest rule in the book. LISTEN! You have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. I told you everything I looked to accomplish in my visit. You didn't listen. I appreciate the fact that you asked for the sale. But don't harass customers to the point that I would never return. I could never in good faith recommend anyone I know visit these clowns. Instead of helping me so that now 3 weeks later when I was ready to buy I would go back they didn't. I actually can't imagine that anyone has had a good experience here. On top of it all, the salesman didn't know anything about the truck. How does a dealer let a salesman show a $65,000 truck that he knows nothing about. Literally any customer that has built a truck on the website has more knowledge than this guy. Thankfully I have worked out a deal with a neighboring dealer that treated me with respect and actually wanted my business. This was the easiest purchase I have ever made. Not kidding. I called the dealership and spoke to James. Not only was he knowledgeable, but very resourceful. I was originally interested in the GMC Acadia, but because I was downsizing from a Suburban, I felt it was just a little bit too small for us. The next day James contacted me to let me know they had just received a Chevy Traverse, it was a 1 year lease that was turned it and was in pristine condition. I viewed pictures and he we discussed my price point. He really went to bat for me and they were able to offer me the deal I wanted. This car is gorgeous! First review of a car dealership, but felt it was worth taking the time. We purchased a used Acadia from Alexander and Julian was our sales agent. While Julian was easy to work with and pleasant, we found several items which would normally come with the purchase of the car were not included and only realized were not included after signing the purchase contract. These things would include floor mats and an extra key for the car. He "forgot" to mention this. After purchasing an OEM replacement key for $80, we took it to the Alexander dealership in Simi Valley to have them program the key. They attempted to charge us $150 but declined to do so when they heard we were sold a car with only one key. They wrote the charge off as "good will". Thank heaven for small favors. The floor mats were an additional $250.00, which we have already purchased. Be aware when purchasing a used car and get all of these things included before you sign their contract. They won't inform you until you are ready to leave. The salesperson should inform a customer of these missing items prior to signing the contract. read more

Spent over 6 hours here, 2 hours in we agreed on the truck we wanted and shook hands with Chris the GM on a price that he stated was including tax, license, and fees. Took another 2 hours to get into financing and we are told $5,500 would be added to the agreed upon price for tax, license, and fees! On top of that Chris was now gone from the lot! Another GM, Mike, comes in and tells us there's no way and nothing he can do. Finance guy, Raymond, was also unaccommodating and rude. Long story short, we walked out due to their lack of honesty and integrity and their salesman James (who was great and we felt bad for him) lost a sale. Let me start by saying, Me and other family members have purchased 3 cars from Alexander GMC over the past few years. I love my truck, and will buy another GMC but not from here. Salesman Luis is great but their customer service department will probably never be good as long they keep the same employees. I ALWAYS take my truck and car elsewhere for service. This last experience with Alexander has changed my opinion of this establishment. I had a great experience last time i was there to buy a truck. Maybe it was because they were new, and needed to better. Im not sure really. On to the real story. I was sent a piece of mail with a "special" deal from the "owner" of the dealership. This deal was for a trade in or purchase of my 2013 Sierra. The add said they could pay a certain amount for my truck or more depending on condition. I decided to call, and went to the showroom. I know, shame on me for believing anything that comes from a car dealer. I really wanted to believe that they were still genuine. I wasted nearly 3 hours of my time today. I drove there from Thousand Oaks, spent an hour waiting and looking at trucks to trade up to, then came the trade in announcement. $6500 less than what the mailer implied. What a sham of an operation. Everyone i was in contact with except for Luis was soooo disrespectful. Alexander GMC has lost a customer for life. I was surprised by what I saw today. I might as well have gone to a Van Nuys BLVD used car lot. Thats how I feel i was treated. I have been contacting the financial department in regards to money that is owed to me for a trade in. I have left various messages and actually talked to a finance representative but they say they will call back but they never do.it is sad that they never respond because they are busy but its not what i have seen when at the dealership. I have been there a couple of times and the members from the finance department are always sitting around doing nothing. I also notified and made them aware of two issues with my new gmc truck and they never took care of these issues. I am sad to have bought this vehicle at this Alexander dealership. read more

My experience at Alexander Buick GMC was absolutely atrocious. I made an appointment 3 days in advance to get my vehicle serviced for a recall. Upon arrival the guy couldn't pull up my appointment, but proceeded to make one for me and take the vehicle. According to the official government NHTSA website, the specific work was: replacement of the spark plug wire retainer, and replacement of the rocker cover gasket. In my opinion a shop should be able to do this in an hour considering I had an appointment, but I pleasantly agreed to the 3hr wait. After 3 hours I inquired about my vehicle, only to be told it would be another 1hr 45min. At this point I'm getting a little frustrated and ask what's taking so long. The guy replies with "We're waiting for the engine to cool down". I ask why and state the engine has been off for 3 hours. He then says the appointment isn't a guarantee, and that they service vehicles based on priority. (So I'm not priority??) He also states that he quoted me a 4-5 hour wait which I promptly cut him off and corrected him he quoted me 3. I ask if the work on my vehicle has even been started and he says no. At this point I just took my car and left. 3 hours and 20 minutes sitting at the dealership just for them to keep my recall card and not perform any services. Horrible customer service who doesn't act like they care whatsoever, definitely do not recommend. Be warned!! read more

First of all I'll say the guys in the sales dept, James and Justin, are phenomenal. I would buy another car through them again. Here's the reason for the 2 star review: I bought a used car here last year and just want to share my experience with their crappy extended warranty. If you get offered an extended warranty through First Extended Service Corporation do not purchase it. I had a coolant leak about 18 months after purchasing the car. I took the car in for service at Lexus of Valencia and provided First Extended's info so they could make the claim. I get a call from Lexus saying that they will only cover 3 hours of a minimum 9.5 hour labor job. So I basically paid $3000 for a warranty that does nothing and will be looking into taking First Extended to small claims if we cannot resolve this. read more

Careful of misleading vehicle pricing. The price was clearly marked on the trucks window, a previous rental truck used by the dealer. When we wanted to purchase it, they raised the price $6k stating you have to qualify for rebates to get the posted price on the window. It was not clearly posted nor did the salesman make us aware of this stipulation, in fact he insinuated the truck could be purchased for less due to the holiday sale. Scam alert. read more

Our Denali had an issue back in November and according to Alexander GMC's service department it was a 2 day fix and asked us to tow the car there. After a month and a half they finally fixed the car and gave it to us but not even 10 mins after we drove it away from the dealership it broke down again. Took it back there hoping it would be a quick fix this time since this was our only family car and we at this point had a rental for over a month and were paying the lease and insurance for the car that was just parked at the dealership. After 3 months of begging and pleading and paying over 12 thousand dollars yes twelve thousand which sounds a bit insane but anyway they told us to come pick up the car in 2 weeks. I gave them 3 weeks and drove with my 2 year old child from the Bay Area to go get my car. Upon arriving there I was very disappointed that they hadn't even touched the car for 3 months. I had to miss work stay another week in Ventura since I didn't want to leave without my car as the lease on it was almost over and we had to turn the car back in. The things we had in our trunk had gotten moldy since the car was parked there for months and we had to throw our stuff away. We finally got the car back mid March but I definitely do not recommend this dealership if you have any issues with your car specially if you only have one car please do yourself a favor and go anywhere but Alexander Gmc, cause they will take 4 months to fix your car and still act like they are doing you a favor. read more
