May 2024 we had the beginning of our plumbing issues on our well system. After getting the bladder replaced by one plumber I've already reviewed, and well pump replaced by a second plumber, we found out our filtration system was also dying on us and would need to be replaced quickly. After being ghosted by our first plumber, and finding out the second one we used would not be able to get to us in a timely manner, we reached out to Alexander & Sons. They came out to get a water sample to determine what type of system we would need and that was the extent of their service. They claimed we had bacteria in our system (but never provided a report) and would need to shock it before performing work. After a few phone calls and no shows, they claimed they came out to do it. Unfortunately for them, my security cameras told otherwise. When I called them back to confirm, I was then ignored for a week. I called another company, who came out, tested, and replaced our system in the time it took this company to ignore me and reach back out to me. When I informed them I went with someone else and told them they never came back, the person on the phone told me they did. I then informed them that they did not because A) my security cameras never caught them, and they would have if they had come in my driveway and B) there was something left behind on the well cover by the plumbers who replaced my well pump. She then called me back and left a voicemail (which I still have) telling me to get my cameras checked because they did come out and move a pair of pliers from the cover. Only problem? It was electrical tape the previous plumbers left behind next to the well which I then placed on top of the cover when cutting grass, not pliers. So either the plumbers lied to her and she didn't know or she lied to cover for them. Either way, unacceptable. Overall, I would avoid them and go with a larger company who, even though you may pay more, at least gets the job done. read more

I placed a service call with my home warranty who scheduled and confirmed my appointment. The contractor never showed up and no one called. When the warranty company called Alexander and Sons they stated that they tried to contact me but never actually did. When I got a hold of Jenny from Alexander and sons she blamed my warranty company for not sending them any appointment. She later admitted to receiving the information the day before my appointment but chose not to reach out that day or the day of the appointment but blamed me. I took off work for this appointment which is unacceptable. read more

If zero stars was an option it would be the best way to describe the front desk lady. She is morally broken and a down right awful human being. Rude and arrogant are just some of the words that come to mind. I called to check when they were gonna come out and fix my leak after a week of being on a waiting list. After a meeting with Jay Alexander at my home, I asked for a quote for new water heater, laundry sink install, new gas dryer hookup. He sent me an incomplete quote with no prices and missing items...it looked like he sent it before finishing. I asked several times for a corrected quote. I called the office and spoke with the office manager (also a family member) and while she was very nice and reassuring that she would get the quote finished, she never did. After more calls, texts and emails, I finally gave up and found a responsive plumber. The job is done...and it turned out great, just not by Alexander & Sons. read more

I absolutely recommend Alexander & Sons. We found them to be quick, friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and reliable. When our water heater died and our (now cancelled) home warranty company found a way to exclude it from being covered, Alexander & Sons still worked with us to get it replaced very quickly and for a great price. I will definitely use them again in the future for any water heater and/or plumbing needs. read more

My hot water heater had a leaking issue. I called Alexander and Sons and spoke to Jennifer who schedules appointments. I explained what was going on. They set a time to come look, and knew what to get. Then had everything ready for us, and did the job, informing along the way what was happening. The second job more to change a well-housing and pipes connecting to water source, they changed all of that too. Had looked at it previously, to get the information on the project- to get the tools, back when the water heater was done. Seeming their time spent, and then once we were ready, came by- got the scope again and then picked up the products and set a day to work. That was all done- and have now water running again without fear of blowing out anything in the well. Future jobs are planned- coming up with remodeling. Waiting on them for the pricing to get that all firm and prepared, so when the job come's all will know what is needed. My word to ANYONE that has any difficulty, getting to people; constant- repetition in informing them what is needed and also, send emails as well with pricing- that helps a ton. Keep after it, after all we are in the process of getting the job completed as well. They do great work, and show up. And, things are working when they leave. read more

I had no water they came out repaired water 2 months later no water had someone go under house and repaired water. Called spoke to Jennifer said she would get back to me on what they did. After a week I called Jay asked one question to show on pics I sent what pipe did he repair he started screaming and hung up phone. I asked Jennifer for partial refund she said no. I explain what was going on, she suggested I take pics and send them to her to take a look at. So I did and also made a video to send her. Jennifer knows her stuff!!! It starts at the front desk, the level of great experience and knowledge. She was absolutely great to talk to and I was so worried and scared that my water heater would leak or bust and basement be flooded, thinking the worst, until Jennifer was able to see the pics and video and she said it be fine, not to worry it was just a cracked drain value and since my water heater was next to the drain it would drain into the drain and I would be ok until they could come out in the moring.( It was late 10:00 pm when I called) I was so relieved and thankful for this news and get a good nights rest. "Alexander and Sons" Perry and Joey came out the next morning to my house on time, very professional knew exactly how fix the issue and change the drain value out so quickly with very little water out -they did it so fast like crazy skilled(James Bond plumbers got the job done) Then checked the rest of the water heater make sure it was too all in good standings. Perry and Joey took care of us at very reasonable price. They were very professional, efficient and took the time to explain. They our officially my go to Plumbers locked in my phone and will always recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. I have used them in two occasions and have yet to be let down. I usually pick companies that have been established but needed the right price for my budget. A&S do give hometown prices. I had to replace a water heater in my house and Perry was prompt and on time as I would expect professionally. He is very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I had a water heater replaced, and what looked like a fairly straightforward job had a few kinks in the way. A&S patiently worked to overcome obstacles just removing the original water heater from my basement. They were also very careful in reconnecting plumbing with CPVC pipes that were not secured well. A&S persevered and the job was done as expected. Prices are much better than the big guys with their fancy painted trucks and TV ads. Definitely recommend this business. read more

Wow! Great service and great pricing. I searched extensively through several companies for estimates and none could touch Alexander & Sons. Needed our leaking water heater replaced ASAP and they came through right away. We have a gas HWH with a power vent so it wasn't a typical swap and go replacement - of course the vent on the new HWH was in a different spot than the old HWH. No worries though, Perry knew exactly how to reroute it and he never missed a beat. Great service that cannot be beat! read more
