I opted to go ahead and they cleared the drain. I was told it was a soft clog and my drain seemed to be in good condition. As I watched them do the work at no point did the snake bind up, it actually went through pretty easy. The whole thing only took about 30 minutes. The fee was $600.00. Two days later when the washing machine drained it flooded the laundry room. I called and was told I would have to pay again only this time it would be $1000.00. I do not feel I was treated honestly and now they want to hold no accountability. I would not recommend you use this company.

And I deeply regret calling them. The week before Thanksgiving, I requested service on 3 toilets in my home to have the tank parts replaced. I was having family coming and wanted the work completed before they arrived. They sent Michael to my home. He provided a quote just under $1,300 for the repair, advising that there could possibly be damage if I chose to go this way, and they would not be responsible if that happened. He provided a quote of $$2,250 to replace all 3 toilets with an American Standard model, and said there would not be any damage. He said he could do it that day, so I reluctantly agreed to have them replaced. He said it would take 3 hours. His only business in my basement storage room was to turn off the main water valve. However, I should have paid more attention to his whereabouts. I thought it odd that he carried out a white canvas bag that appeared stuffed with something, and I wish I had stopped him to ask what was in the bag. I also wish I had gone into the basement and checked to see if anything was missing before he left. I thought it odd that he didn't depart after he finished working. Another Precision Plumbing van pulled up and parked in front of my house. I now wish I had gone outside. At a later date, I went down to the basement to get Christmas decorations and discovered many, many items, were missing from the storage room where the water main is located. I was very upset about this and called Precision Plumbing and left a voicemail for someone to call me. Candace, the former owner's sister now runs the company. She called me back and said she spoke with Michael and he denied taking the items and also denied there was another company vehicle at my home that night. However, after checking GPS, she confirmed with me that there was another company van at my home, just as I saw and described. I reported the theft to the county sheriff's office. They prepared a report and recommended I install cameras to watch service providers. I'm letting people know they should not be shy about watching over people working in their home. I advise having additional people on hand to watch with you. It's getting to where people know they can take from others and get away with it. I would not recommend using this company for this reason.

Seeming their time spent, and then once we were ready, came by- got the scope again and then picked up the products and set a day to work. That was all done- and have now water running again without fear of blowing out anything in the well. Future jobs are planned- coming up with remodeling. Waiting on them for the pricing to get that all firm and prepared, so when the job come's all will know what is needed. My word to ANYONE that has any difficulty, getting to people; constant- repetition in informing them what is needed and also, send emails as well with pricing- that helps a ton. Keep after it, after all we are in the process of getting the job completed as well. They do great work, and show up. And, things are working when they leave.

May 2024 we had the beginning of our plumbing issues on our well system. After getting the bladder…read morereplaced by one plumber I've already reviewed, and well pump replaced by a second plumber, we found out our filtration system was also dying on us and would need to be replaced quickly. After being ghosted by our first plumber, and finding out the second one we used would not be able to get to us in a timely manner, we reached out to Alexander & Sons. They came out to get a water sample to determine what type of system we would need and that was the extent of their service. They claimed we had bacteria in our system (but never provided a report) and would need to shock it before performing work. After a few phone calls and no shows, they claimed they came out to do it. Unfortunately for them, my security cameras told otherwise. When I called them back to confirm, I was then ignored for a week. I called another company, who came out, tested, and replaced our system in the time it took this company to ignore me and reach back out to me. When I informed them I went with someone else and told them they never came back, the person on the phone told me they did. I then informed them that they did not because A) my security cameras never caught them, and they would have if they had come in my driveway and B) there was something left behind on the well cover by the plumbers who replaced my well pump. She then called me back and left a voicemail (which I still have) telling me to get my cameras checked because they did come out and move a pair of pliers from the cover. Only problem? It was electrical tape the previous plumbers left behind next to the well which I then placed on top of the cover when cutting grass, not pliers. So either the plumbers lied to her and she didn't know or she lied to cover for them. Either way, unacceptable. Overall, I would avoid them and go with a larger company who, even though you may pay more, at least gets the job done.
