Burger and tots
Diane W.

Stopped here on a whim to have dinner and a drink. Staff is super friendly. Food was decent. My husband tried two different stouts and both had no "flavors". They should have had notes of chocolate, coffee, etc. The orange cream ale was super orange flavored. The pulled pork nachos were good. We ordered an extra side of queso for ours. My burger was good and a nice size/portion. The tots were good and had some seasoning on them. My husband got a wrap and he said it had too much lettuce/filler. The inside has a cool vibe.

Great brewery: Diverse beers and great food I stumbled onto this gem based upon the adjacent coffee house (B-Side). The coffee house has a full kitchen and has incredible food, which is available for order from within the brewery. The brewery has a very 70's-80's music theme with the bar top featuring LPs and album covers embedded. All the classics are there, from Rock, Funk, Disco and Soul. It's a trip down memory lane just looking at them. The beers are inspired by- great "must haves" like hazy IPAs and the like, but there are some really eclectic brews like Curry stout! It was incredible and not what one might have anticipated. I wound up taking home a 4-pack of the curry and the Mexican hot chocolate stout. The brewery has a full bar for those who might want something with a little more punch. On the evening I was there, they had a weekly event called "Singo", which was a combination of Bingo and "Name that tune". Players received a bingo card of song titles and then the host played a playlist of approximately 1 minute long snippets of tunes from all genres that one had to identify and then match to the titles on their score sheet. Complete a "Bingo" correctly and receive prizes. It was really fun to play and it drew quite a crowd. Definitely worth checking out.

My friends and I stopped by this gem of a place because we were visiting some locations on the Dayton Ale Trail. I'm so glad we did! Their ales are made with all natural fruits and you can tell. I ordered a couple 4oz pours of a variety of their offerings and I enjoyed them all. However, I do have a favorite... the Stillmatic. I still am amazed at this ale. It's a peanut butter and jelly sour ale. Don't be fooled by the "sour ale" part of that and think it's too tart, because it's not. It truly just tastes like a nostalgic always-there-for-you peanut butter and jelly sandwich! 10/10 recommend. My friends and I will be coming back for sure. The guys behind the bar were great too. We enjoyed talking to Greg while figuring out what to drink. He's a super nice and kind guy!

Pretzels with bacon queso + mixtape beer

Tried to make the feud trivia on Thursdays with a friend but we were both running a little late and seemed to have missed it. As a consolation, we shared some pretzels and tried some beers. The pretzels were pretty good and the bacon queso was very tasty. I would definitely get it again. I got the mixtape beer on tape and it was different and not what I expected but I liked it a lot. I also grabbed some chun-li to go beers which I really liked. Bartenders were very nice and helpful. The next time we will make sure and get to trivia on time!

Black owned brewery making good beer. The bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable about beer. I loved that he knew a brewery in Brooklyn and my friend has been there...great beer talk!! We did a 3 day brewery run while in Dayton and this was on day one. At the end of our trip, I would have went back to Alematic to just hang out. Great feel and arguably the best beer in Dayton.

Any where there is fresh locally made beer is good! This place is no exception. I really liked their IPAs.

Alematic Ales in Huber Heights

A music themed craft brewery in Dayton, Ohio - two of my favorites music and craft beer, I'm in - I heard about Alematic and finally visited in May, we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and were welcomed by Mike. He gave us a few minutes to review the menu as there were 14 beers on tap - IPA's, Sours, Ales, Porters & Stouts - something for everyone. The bar is covered in old album covers and the beers are named after songs or variations on songs. As it was hard to decide on what to try we went with a variety of 4oz pours, Santana Champ, Beautiful Times, Blue Ocean Floor, Cut Em In, The Big Baloons 2021 (delicious & my favorite of the bunch), Italian Leather Sofa. Alematic is great brewery in Huber Heights, stop by when you're in the northern Dayton area for great, creative craft beer.

Creamsicle Vanilla Seltzer

The hanging lights inside initially drew us in from the road. I had 3 of their creamsicle vanilla seltzers! They were delicious to say the least. The hamburgers were phenomenal paired with their loaded tots. You have to try their spicy mayo!

Do yourself a favor and stop by Alematic. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food, and great beer made on-site. You can't go wrong!

We enjoyed our early Saturday evening visit to this new and upcoming brewery "hidden away" in the middle of a shopping plaza in Huber Heights. Tough to find when we went, but I think since our first visit, they've gotten a much-needed large sign out front, which definitely helps. Bob enjoyed a couple of IPA's, I had a porter, and we played a couple of relaxed games of cards. We grabbed a bite to eat before we arrived, but will be trying some local spots (Thai, Pizza, Mexican...) for future visits. FYI, closed Sundays, we sadly discovered a few weeks ago!! Happy, as always, to support the efforts of places like this that are true labors of love. AMAZING the amount of work that must go into getting a place (and a great selection of beers) off of the ground!! Wishing them much success; can't wait to see how far they can go!!!

Stopped at Alematic Artisan Ales for some drinks, then ordered a large deluxe pizza from Classic Pizza to make sure I had something to eat. Amazing all around!!!

Draft Paloma
Samantha B.

I like the brewery location as it brings attraction to other small businesses. Beer selection isn't my usual cup of tea; but I like trying new things! Had a Paloma on draft today which I enjoyed. Was accompanied by husband and brother in law who drank the Bury me in Gold (ipa). That's their default. Environment is good music and laid back. Pricey honestly. Customer service is top notch most of the time but today we had a grouchy owner not in the mood for small talk lol. But hey we all have those days. Give it a try! You just might like it.

These guys make great beer. Try the Cream and go from there. They have a back porch now - small but functional

This weekend we went to the Cellarbration 2026 held at this location. Every couple of years, they crack open a few treasures and share some special releases. This year, they had 22 choices, including my husband's favorite Warped Wing beer of all time, the 2019 Baltic Porter, aged in port wine barrels. We split a trio of sliders and a specialty flavor of wings, Honey Butter Buffalo, which were especially good. We liked all 3 sliders, but the stand out was the pulled pork...absolutely delicious! Because of the event, it was pretty busy at noon but the staff kept things cleared and cleaned. The bathrooms were clean but bare bones. Our server, TAYLOR was the best. So friendly, patient, accommodating, and fun. She made our meal experience. The selection of beers is impressive, and Taylor helped my decision with giving me samples of beers. I went with the Imperial Head Hunter and was happy as can be with this IPA, The food? Incredible. We started with mozzarella sticks and faux chicken tenders as appetizers. Both were great. The mango habanero sauce is more sweet than spicy. But both the cheese and chicken tenders were wonderful. Our appetizer +, was the tequila vegan chili. We don't find veggie chili very often, but this was prepared with veggie chili, beans and soyrizo. It was wonderful. My wife chose the jackfruit Reuben sandwich. Those of us that are vegetarian, miss favorites like Reuben sandwiches. This jackfruit Reuben met the challenge. Delicious and plentiful. I had the Fierro burger with an impossible patty. Definitely not as spicy as I wanted, but delicious nonetheless.
