They had the tire I needed, showed me the tire, but when I went home I noticed a different tire on my car. This tire had a different pattern and different treading from my other 3 tires (which means it will mess up the all wheel drive on my car) when I called them, they tried to make it seem like I didnt know what I was talking about. I wanted to come back for the correct tire; They had it, then they djdnt, then the tire was fine, then it had something wrong with it. So they lied to my face like 5 times and tried to destroy my car hoping I wouldn't notice. And they keep saying "the brand doesn't matter" even though I'm telling them the tire is physically different in pattern and appearance not just brand. I needed something quick but now I'll be spending more money out of pocket to get the tire I need. If you don't know anything about cars, don't go to them. My wife went for an inspection ahead of when her sticker was due . they failed her because she cleaned her car (debris off hood ) then took her sticker off then told her to go to the DMV when she had the rest of the month to get an updated inspection. She called to complain because you simply can not remove a sticker especially if you have the rest of the month for the inspection. They lied and said they put the amount of days on the receipt, she stated they did not which they didn't and the guy on the phone just goes "well interesting" Just made life hard for no reason. I went to get my brakes fixed . Now my brakes feel weirder than what they did when I needed them fixed. Loose and takes me to press all the way down to stop my car. Never had to do that before i took my car to them. They are cheap and fast for a reason. Because the quality of this business sucks. They are unprofessional and don't take pride in the vehicle you work hard to pay for. They are going to do what ever to your car and hand it back to you no problem cuz you paid them.

I went for estimate first at another shop in Rockland county the mechanic gave me a crazy price of $750.00 And I quickly had my car towed out of there and up to Hoben's they did the same job a new rite front axel and 2 new tires for $340.00!! Witch is amazing! Also my car was done and waiting for me as soon as I got out of work. George is the father he is such a good man full of honesty and respect I'm going to be honest he definitely could have sold me 4 new tires at the time but he pointed out to me the 2 back tires still had tread and only sold me the 2 tires I needed. That's rare now days in this crazy world we live in. If your like me and you don't live in Newburgh the trip is definitely worth it. I also know we always hear horror stories about Newburgh but he's in a good location he's on the corner or mill st and Williams st very safe it's more industrial area more then anything else.

But should you ever find yourself in such a spot, the answer is simple. Slow your roll. Exit the highway as soon as possible. Find a mechanic to patch you up and get you back on the road. Oh yeah, and pray to god it's not Saturday, since most reputable mechanics take their weekends off. Well, on a recent Saturday such a fate befell me and my poor Mazda5. The car is old, but in good repair. It's serviced regularly, and just recently got a clean bill of health. So that brain twisting screeching sound was really quite a mystery. Did I mention I know nothing about cars? Still, I pulled into a nearby Denny's to look under the hood to see if anything was clearly broken. I looked under the wheel well to see if some piece of metal snapped. And I saw nothing. So I hopped on the Yelp app and found that the Meineke next door was not just open, but also well reviewed. The team there saved my life. Not literally of course. As it turned out, my life was never in danger. But they were able to get my car on the lift, and take it out on road, all within about an hour of my showing up. They determined that it was nothing. Maybe it had been something. Whatever small piece of road debris had gotten into the wheel well, had apparently worked itself out. They could have told me something was wrong with the bushings. I could have been taken for hundreds of dollars at that moment. But instead, they sent me back on the road with a smile, and refused to take any money for their time. Sure, they didn't actually fix anything. But their trained eye gave me peace of mind. And that's worth a lot. Thank you random Meineke. You guys rock.

Either they didn't even look at my car or they don't know what their doing. My frustration isn't that my vehicle needed repairs. It's that my vehicle was inspected multiple times during those visits, yet I still ended up stranded with a car that wouldn't start. Then, after paying for the brake work, the brake warning light came back again. At this point, I've lost confidence in the quality of the work. When my car was taken out the second time, they only corrected the driver's side and the passenger's side still had old tire on the front and the new tire on the back. I was upset and disbelieved, so I went inside again. I asked Kevin if the worker was doing drug.... The first error might be by miscommunication between Kevin and the worker, but the second time, it was done intentionally by the worker.
