Great if you need something cheap and fast. Terrible for your car and dishonest people. Went there cuz my tire blew out on my all wheel drive vehicle. They had the tire I needed, showed me the tire, but when I went home I noticed a different tire on my car. This tire had a different pattern and different treading from my other 3 tires (which means it will mess up the all wheel drive on my car) when I called them, they tried to make it seem like I didnt know what I was talking about. I wanted to come back for the correct tire; They had it, then they djdnt, then the tire was fine, then it had something wrong with it. So they lied to my face like 5 times and tried to destroy my car hoping I wouldn't notice. And they keep saying "the brand doesn't matter" even though I'm telling them the tire is physically different in pattern and appearance not just brand. I needed something quick but now I'll be spending more money out of pocket to get the tire I need. If you don't know anything about cars, don't go to them. Literally the worst place. Needs to be shut TF down. Complete rip off , go in with one problem leave with two. My wife went for an inspection ahead of when her sticker was due . they failed her because she cleaned her car (debris off hood ) then took her sticker off then told her to go to the DMV when she had the rest of the month to get an updated inspection. She called to complain because you simply can not remove a sticker especially if you have the rest of the month for the inspection. They lied and said they put the amount of days on the receipt, she stated they did not which they didn't and the guy on the phone just goes "well interesting" Just made life hard for no reason. I went to get my brakes fixed . Now my brakes feel weirder than what they did when I needed them fixed. Loose and takes me to press all the way down to stop my car. Never had to do that before i took my car to them. They are cheap and fast for a reason. Because the quality of this business sucks. They are unprofessional and don't take pride in the vehicle you work hard to pay for. They are going to do what ever to your car and hand it back to you no problem cuz you paid them. read more

Do NOT take your car here! My wheel fell off less than 2 weeks after a brake/rotor repair. I brought my car in on June 6 for front brake pads and rotors. I returned on June 18 because something felt wrong, and was told it was fine. On June 22, while driving, my entire wheel came off, causing major damage to my vehicle. This was a terrifying and dangerous experience that could have seriously injured me or others. I went back expecting the shop to take accountability, but they refused to accept any responsibility. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. If you value your safety and your vehicle, please go somewhere else. I am pursuing this further through the proper legal channels. read more

Super sketchy. My regular mechanic said I had a hole in my flex pipe. However, his welder wouldn't be available until next week I could return then. I was heading out of town and my card was loud so I went to Raul's again, previously the had replaced a taillight i needed replacing. I stop in and to speak to the receptionist and explained I had a hole in my flex pipe could they look and close/weld/ hole. She said I can fit you in about in an hour. I so great. The mechanic looks at my care for 5 minutes. The receptionist calls me in and has a diagram of my muffler and says all of this is bad catalytic converter and all and it's $1800 repair. "I said no I get it and I'm out." "She let me explain. Nope! I was charged $30 for the inspection. My mechanic at Greatway repairs my muffler for $230 the next week. Garbage!!! Boo!! six weeks ago I had my tires replaced and rotated,this week I went back to have my new tires put on. unbeknownst to me they had cros threaded my lugs from the previous visit and couldn't get them off on this visit. they broke two of the wheel locks , on the back tires which was blown, then told me to take it somewhere else. I had to drive this truck with two rear fl tires to another shop. they fixed everything including replaceing the rear brakes for $350. I will never go back there again or recommend this shop read more

Stopped in to get some used tires for my father. I was hesitant but the tires they provided were in surprisingly great shape. Tires & service I paid for was an early Christmas gift for dad so we hung around while service was completed. They do have some strange pricing with minimum labor at $80/hour (rate was posted); ouch! At best this place is good if your on a tight budget looking for used tires, which are not guaranteed. But I'd recommend C&E automotive down RT9W for repairs. read more

My car broke down twice and the second time I brought it to this shop. They said they changed the spark plugs and all the ignitiol coils because it had a missfire. But the day before I was the one who changed the spark plugs and one ignition coil. They charged for something that was completely fine and plus they're old ignition coils and I brought it in yesterday because it was shaking a lot and they told me it was cause of the type of gas I put in it and he wanted $20 just for telling me that. I went to this shitty auto repair shop for them to give me new tires and the mechanic that worked on my car didn't put my tires back on my car correctly. The lug nuts was extremely loose. They didn't even try to compensate me for their mistake! I would of lost my life or became extremely Injured. I do not recommend coming here at all!!! Brought my car in to get two tires put on. The tech used a impact gun to thread on my lug nuts (the wrong way to do it) and stripped out two lug nuts and lug studs. When I tried to get the shop to pay for it they stated it wasn't there fault and told me I had to pay for it, after arguing they agreed to do the job for free but not pay for the parts that they ruind. When I got my car back the tires were way overfilled and the special socket I let them use was gone. The hourly rate is cheep but it's ABSOLUTELY not worth the risk taking your car here. read more

Came here to pick up 2 used tires to replace bald front tires on my beater car. $70 for 2 tires. When I got to my mechanic, he said they were down to the warning indicator and were borderline on passing state inspection. I brought the tires back to Raul's and after they inspected them, they accepted the return hassle-free. people here are very helpful... I've been to many auto repair shops and they don't even accept me. I usually get the magic sentence "oh... you have to make an appointment" from most other shops... but not these guys... and their price is good... (piece of advice, make sure you tell them exactly what you want to do, how you want it done and be right there while they do the work).. they are VERY fast therefor quality of service might reduce depending on who is actually working on your car. Never did business with these guys, went there once and they wanted a higher price for a pair of used, half worn tires than I could get a pair of new ones for at Discount Tire Direct, or at a place in The Bronx, pretty much anyplace down there. Mentioned that a pair of new, cheap to begin with Nexen tires are less than what they wanted for used questionable ones. Basically was told to go eff myself, buy them or leave. I left, got new tires, then had them mounted and balanced at a place that does the work indoors. If you're gonna try to screw me, kiss me first, or at least act polite. I couldn't imagine letting these guys under my hood, they sure don't strike me as the types that care plus I get the feeling is have to take my iPod out of the car too. You can do what you want, but I'm staying away, and I've gotten my cars fixed and bought parts on Jerome Ave and along the Bruckner in Hunts Point and felt much more confident with the work being done and the BS not being done. read more

I had my car towed to this shop. spoke to the owners owners son first and with given a quote of 160.00 parts and labor to replace cranck shaft sensor. Recieved a call later and was told the job will cost 450.00 parts and labor. Told them that price was high could they lower it, he pause spoke to someone and said no. What did i want to do, My car was towed there already what can i do, but have the work done. Recieved a call an hr later and was told come pick up the car. i found it odd that the car was ready so soon. I got to the shop paid the 450.00 and i asked them is the check engine light off, his response i don't know let me check. Bells are going off on my head, u mean to tell me nobody checked after the work was done. Checked engine light was on and he cleared it. I live 17 miles from the shop and a couple of miles later the check engine light come on. This is a Saturday around 5:30 pm and the shop closed after i left and Don't reopen until Monday. I figure ok just take called them Monday and take it back. A few miles later my battery indicater comes un the charge light comes on and there smoke everywhere. Pulled into my drive way and antifreeze is pouring out. Took videos and fotos. I plan to ask for a refund and take my car somewhere else. Incompetent to say the least. This is part 1 of my review. Part two will be there response when i call them Monday. Part two just edit my reviw. Called Monday and the guy was rude. Stated that my car drove off fine and they are not responsible after drive off. Open my hood in front of the house and notice that these MORANS forgot to install the belt. Yes they told me it need to be replace. If it snapped like they claimed i wouldve heard it. This guys are incompetent. Stay away . Just would like to mention one more thing. I stopped in one day to have a tire repaired. They took of the tire and fixed it. By the time i got home the tire was deflated. Unbelievable. Do u think they checked to see if the leak was fix, NO. Stay away stay away stay away. Just wanted to update this review with more info. Rauls auto repair stated that my fan belt was bad and it snapped on the way home. I believed that they never put the belt back on and it was confirmed. I took my car to put a new fan belt on and the mechanic told me the belt tensioner was missing. WELL YOU CANT PUT A FAN BELT ON WITHOUT THE TENSIONER. which prove i was right. My radiator blew out because of their incompetence. If they don't reimburse me for my radiator and labor will take them to court. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. read more
