This place does not value customers, is horribly understaffed. As an added attention to lack of detail, the windows you can look through to see the cars being washed were coded with an obscene level of grime on the inside. As a result, you couldn't see clearly the cars that were being washed. If it's that filthy in the room that they're washing the cars, how clean are the cars getting?

I am lucky enough to have a place that is close to my house that is the best auto body repair shop in Middletown and probably Orange County. 86 Auto is not a fancy place where you get french press coffee served to you while you sit in a leather recliner and watch tv while you get your car fixed. It is ran by a wonderful local family that knows how to run a business and more importantly, fix cars. Their work is impeccable and their staff is very friendly and work with you to understand what they are doing to fix your car and are completely transparent with their prices. I don't want to ever use them, because if I do then there is something wrong with my car. However, if there is something I need done, at least I do not have to worry about being price gauged or have subpar work done on the repair.

The first time I went there, the place was closed because somebody was away on vacation! I thought that was a great thing because everybody needs to get away and enjoy life with your family, but the fact that the whole business was shut down due to one person was my first sign that I should've gone elsewhere. I figured it was a smaller business and I wanted to support. The next week, I went back and it was open and I signed up. The next week I went back for a car wash and I pulled up and beeped my horn (as per directions) for so long over and over that I actually thought the place was closed. After waiting a total of seven minutes with the gate up, a short man came running through the wash area to help me. It was obvious to a duck, that he was working all by himself so I said nothing. The next time I went, I called myself going first thing in the morning, straight from work in Brooklyn. When I got there, the gate was open and the man came out very quickly, but told me that I had to wait a few minutes because the machinery was not working. I showed him my subscription sticker and he asked me to wait a few minutes. I was extremely tired first of all from working two tours in Brooklyn and then the drive up to my home, but I waited and after about four additional minutes, he got the machinery to work. The last time I went there it was raining in the morning, but the rain stopped before 9:30 AM., At 11:47 AM the sun was out and I went out and decided I would stop and get a car wash before I do my errands and the gate was down!! Meaning, they weren't doing car washes. I guess they considered it inclement weather that day, even though the rain stopped hours ago, and the forecast did not call for any additional rain for the whole day. As I was driving around back to the car wash area, I saw two trucks pulling out, which should've given me a hint, but I was hopeful and went to the back anyway. The gate was down I honked the horn a couple of times, and then I backed up and left. I'm canceling my subscription. I just can't play the guessing game every time I want my car washed. I need to go somewhere where I know for a fact I can get serviced. Aside from the car wash, they have an office attached to it at the front of the place. I went there to have my car inspected for the sticker on the front window and the man and younger female at the desk when you walk in the office told me it would be hours and hours of a wait. The female went on to say I would have to leave the car there if I wanted, but the man said I could wait but it would be hours. I asked them both if there was another place in the area that I could go get an inspection done. The place across the street recommended Dolson because the place I initially went to had a machine that wasn't working. In any event, that man and woman looked me in my face and told me there was no other place in the area, meanwhile.. I went right down the road on the right hand side diagonal from Rita's to a place called Middletown Auto Repair and Service and dealt with a man named Christopher or Chris He was a doll. While I know everybody is in business to make money, I don't think it's right to be so greedy and not give an honest answer when asked if there is someplace else a person can go to especially if you are too busy to service them. Diego was nice enough to help us get checked in and he told us that it would take around 45 minutes. We left the store and returned around 40 minutes later to see how everything was going. We returned to the parking lot to find my car parked differently than how I left it so we walked inside excited to see my car completed. WRONG!!! After It took us another 5 minutes to find someone to help us they told me that they were unable to put the tires on my car, they said they couldn't chance taking the lug nuts off my car and damaging the vehicle. Mind you I hadn't received a text or a call explaining the issue prior to me returning to the store. To top it all off the employee put the tires in my truck and basically told me that it was my problem now because I paid online. The employees were so pre-occupied that they couldn't even give suggestions or sincere apologies. I will absolutely never EVER go back to get any work done. Shame on me for thinking Walmart could ever exceed my exceptions.
