I come here so much. They almost always have great selections of grocery items that most people use on a regular basis. I was sad they were all out of cilantro which I needed but I know sometimes they sell out of things. The store is pretty neat for the most part. It is well lit and organized. I shop here a lot since they have great prices and really good quality items. Some of their fresh produce gets yucky quick and you'll see a few rotted items in the mix which can be a little annoying sometimes but it's not a huge deal. I will continue coming here. read more

I'm a regular at this location due to being an instacart shopper! The employees are amazing like always: helpful, friendly and fast. This location has self checkout, which is always great BUT I wish they'd take cash and instead of the space for the groceries.....they should have a cart there to make it more convenient. The fruit and veggies are a hit or miss; this location tends to get busy so most of produce is picked through sometimes plus not always in the best condition. However, I did notice this location has paid attention that their produce goes fast and gets more trucks often. This location also tends to have the best Aldi finds in my opinion: more vegan/vegetarian options, candle scents, organizing items, kid toys, weird snacks lol The vibes from other customers can be 50/50....some are super rude but others are the sweetest so you might make a bestie! Side note: this location is also a go to for the homeless and/or panhandlers due to probably the dollar tree next door. The homeless aren't rude or pushy as much as the panhandlers who expect you to give them some of your groceries or change. So be careful! read more

This particular Aldi is located on the corner of Forsyth Road and Aloma Avenue in the Aloma Square shopping plaza. One convenient thing us that they have self checkout lanes so you don't have to wait in a long line for the one person that does checkout that Aldi thinks is enough to handle every one of their locations. The place has the ambiance of an Aldi. It is bright and relatively clean. Aldi has some good deals and some adequate deals. I compare it to an Odd Lots of supermarkets. Their bread is definitely a good deal as are their eggs. This is a decent enough place and I give it four stars. read more

I have become a recent Aldi shopper and usually shop at a different location. Yesterday, I tried this location and LOVED it! It was clean with the typical Aldi layout. The store didn't feel as crowded and the worker seemed nice. I found 95% of the items I was looking for and didn't mind stopping by another stop to get the 2 items they didn't have in stock (the price point here is so worth it)! I was pleasantly surprised that this location has both self checkout lines AND paper bags! If you are an Aldi regular, you know just how huge that is! Highly recommend this place and I am thinking of driving out of my normal route just to make this my new regular! read more

I love Aldi! This location always has plenty of parking and carts and is well stocked! I find their staff to be helpful as well. If you are new to Aldi, don't hesitate to try it out! You may find some items won't be there (enchilada sauce, for example), but there are plenty of other items to choose from. Many items are high quality and less expensive than their name brand counterparts. Additionally, they often rotate high end seasonal favorites. Currently they have many Jams and sauces to go with charcuterie crackers and meats, perfect for your holiday parties! And while they are less expensive, that doesn't mean they are cheap. Their produce, meats, and dairy items are just as fresh! Finally, don't sleep on the Aldi finds section. You can find shoes, decor, pet products, specialty food items, and so much more! The location is fairly convenient and the selections are pretty good Thus far, whenever I've shopped here I've had nothing but positives: Always plenty of parking, the store is clean, organized and decently stocked -- nice that the fresh fruits and vegetables are right near the entrance. I find the staff is friendly and helpful. I am able to get in and our very quickly. During the pandemic, they are requiring the use of masks, they do provide a sanitizing station and the floors are marked 'for social distancing'. I do find that customers aren't really following the prescribed traffic flow markers. In general, I like this ALDI. read more

I personally love Aldi and this location is closest to my house. I love their precooked meals in the front of the store. The carnitas are really good and any of the chicken dishes. My husband and kids love it for a quick dinner. I love their Atlantic Salmon, I usually make that at least one time a week and it's fresh caught and only $8.99 a lb. I will say that service is a 6/10 at this location. I'm think it comes from a lack of employees. I have stopped ordering pickup or delivery from this location because every single time they would miss a full bag or 2 of groceries. And while I get my money back I have to go shopping again. So I just do all the shopping myself. A cart of groceries that would cost $400 elsewhere will cost me $180 to $200 here. The savings and quality is worth it to me every time. Aldi can be overwhelming to newcomers so i recommend if you've never been to just browse and try one or two products. Most of their stuff is their brand or what you may think is off brand. But their products are much cleaner and have less dyes and junk, especially being a European based company. They have great organic veggies and fruits. All Aldi's have it's own vibe so feel it out. Coming to this Aldi after I stopped going to the one on colonial but unfortunately they barely have items in stock when I either order on the Instacart app or go in myself. The last two times I used Instacart items were being refunded which made me say ok I guess it's time go somewhere else, or find an Aldi with the items I need every time. read more

This is the Aldi located in Winter Park on Aloma Avenue. I came to this location because the Aldi near my home is being renovated. This location is just the same as the others a couple of aIsles, some frozen goods, a few refrigerators, and about four cash registers. One of the things that I immediately noticed, was the pricing. It's seem to me that the prices were just a little bit higher than the location near my home. All the products are the same. All the items are the same. Why would they be higher? Not very many Aldis I hadn't been to, but this was one of them, despite its proximity on our weekly trip to Lucky's and/or Costco in Winter Park. Well that changed this week. They could have had more signage indicating they're open - we almost didn't stop because we thought they weren't, but they were. Since this is pre-Dorian, the store had almost been stripped bare. A lot of the perishables were MIA, ditto some of the produce that was on sale, which begs the question - why are people stocking up when they know (or THINK) that power's going to be out? I love Aldi. I love, love, love Aldi. I come to Aldi as frequently as I can, and I decided to stop by this location one day to do some shopping. The prices here are so incredible, that they actually are competitive with the big box bulk stores like Sam's and BJ's. That, and I honestly haven't come in contact with a product yet that wasn't indistinguishable from name brands. Even the meat that I've purchased from Aldi over the times has been pretty decent quality. It's not always up to snuff with what Publix has to offer me, but for being a graduate student, I am a-ok with that for right now. Some tips. Bring a quarter. You're gonna need to unlock your cart. Bring your own bags. Aldi does not provide bags unless you buy them. Prepare to save money. You might actually save too much money and might need to go watch a movie that night or something. read more

UPDATE! After reaching out to Aldi about their meat shelves, they seem to have fixed the problem. I took a chance and stopped in again, and to my delight the shelves have been completely gook free both times I've been in! Kudos to Aldi for taking action! Updating from 2 stars to 4 now! Off brand products super cheap but at what cost? It's dirty and the meat shelves were full of this moldy gel like Substance from the juices tuning out of the meat packages. The fresh produce is hit or miss. Some items aren't really that cheap if you consider that publix has some brand name items on bogo. I will say the cashier was very friendly. Aldi is a place where you can get mostly off-brand groceries for cheap. They are similar to Save-A-Lot, but they are much cleaner than Save-A-Lot and the prices are more reasonable as well. Aldi is favorite place of mine to get pantry items, cheese, milk, and eggs. I don't mess with the produce at Aldi, because I've had some bad experiences in the past. Some of the fruit containers are left open. A lot of the fruit/vegetables are not good. I mean you can find good fruits and vegetables at Aldi, but you have to make sure you look over them very carefully before you purchase.I personally don't buy any fruits/vegetable there. I get all my produce from Freshfield Farms. The main thing I love about Aldi is the fact that they are way cheaper than other grocery stores. I mean on certain items, they are even cheaper than walmart. Aldi has me buying items that I never bought before because of the prices. For example, the extra virgin olive oil is $2.99, and it's imported from italy. The White Cheddar and Gouda cheese is about $2.49. One dozen eggs are about $1.19. Aldi also have a good selection of chocolate and wine. Most of the chocolate are imported from europe, about 1.99 a bar, and in my opinion, they taste better than the name brand chocolate. They also have a pretty good wine selection for cheap as well. I recently bought a bottle of italian wine (14.5ABV), and it was around $7.99. This wine was incredible. I couldn't believe it was less than $10 bucks a bottle. Bottom Line: I would suggest that you go to Aldi for pantry items, cheese, milk, eggs, wine and chocolate. Aldis has recently descended upon Orlando. I overheard a fellow customer say that 12 others have opened in the area in the last month or so. So kudos to Aldis for creating jobs and providing cheap grocery products. But are they cheapest around? I don't think so. If you are not familiar with their gimmicks here's a crash course: you have to pay for plastic bags if you want them as well as a shopping cart. They are no nonsense and no frills and very rarely use name brand goods. They do not have a deli area or a bakery. In fact, produce are the only items to come fresh. The meats are frozen and the rest can be considered dry goods. The selection isn't anything to scream about though. You will not find organic items nor will you find the healthier versions. For example expect white rice and normal dried pasta. I didn't see a whole grain options for either. Some of these items seemed to be a few pennies cheaper, but in some cases, their prices were higher than those at Super Target or even Publix--shocking right? Milk was a steal though at $2.79 per gallon and eggs not too shabby either at $1.19 for a carton. Name brands were few and far between and the only ones I noticed were Dole and Nabisco. Aside from food, they carry things for the home such as comforters, toasters and computers. Yup, they have a desktop for sale with a price tag of $499.00. I guess they have one up on Publix then in the computer department. Overall, I wouldn't make a special trip here. read more

Aldi's a place where you can get groceries for cheap. A lot of the brands are off-brands and may not taste like the best you've had, but if you're on a budget, Aldi's the place to go. The box mac & cheese still tastes like box Kraft mac & cheese to me. Be sure you bring a quarter, because you need to have one in order to "rent" out a grocery cart. I think they do that so you will actually bring back the cart to the store instead of leaving it in the parking lot. There is minimal staff, and that is how they are able to sell the food so cheap. OH and remember to bring reusable or regular grocery bags of your own too! You are able to purchase plastic bags at the end but it's always nicer to bring your own so you don't have to buy them. They also have produce, meats, breads, and frozen foods as well for very cheap. While checking out, the cashier was pretty friendly. The cashiers scan the food item and puts it back in your grocery cart. After all the items are scanned and paid for, you have to bag them yourself by the counter at the front of the store. Again, they have minimal staff. Overall, great idea for a grocery store in order to keep prices down. Go on a weekday because it won't be as busy! read more

4 stars for extremely low prices and healthy options. Aldi's is a discount grocery store chain. The chain is based in Germany and carries a lot of products from there. Many of these products are free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, and many other unpleasant things! Heads up: You need a quarter to use the carts. You get the quarter back when you return the cart to the appropriate spot. Aldi's is a kind of hit or miss. I sometimes really like their products, but next time you go, it's gone. However, the next time you go there might be something new and festive. Not all of their products are like this, but a lot of their frozen items rotate out quickly. One of their staples is a soup (potato and leek) that is amazing, doesn't have weird ingredients, and cheap. Aldi's also has fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, and other items. You can get paper products here as well. They even have miscellaneous knick-knack items like pillows and products that you'd see on an infomercial. They might not have everything a typical grocery store might, but they'll usually do for most things. Aldi is a good place to go to pick up a few staples. I usually head there to get eggs, milk, meats, and certain veggies. The veggies are extremely cheap and pretty decent looking/tasting. Today I bought a pack of 2 peppers (a red and a yellow) which are usually well over $4 a pound at Publix - for only $1.99. I also got a large pack of 8 Roma tomatoes for $1.29. The meat is equally cheap, with lean ground turkey at 2.79 for a pound and chicken breast at about 3 bucks a pack. If you're looking to eat healthy they also have a line of "Fit and Healthy" products which are basically like Lean Cuisine. The stuff is pretty decent tasting, especially the cereal bars. They are suppoesd to be a knockoff of the Special K cereal bars - they actually taste BETTER! The only downside of Aldi is the minimal selection. If you're looking for something specific, you may not find it. So be prepared to make a second trip to Publix across the road. If you live near Aldi, it's definitely worth it to make a stop in and get some stuff! P.S. Bring your own bags and a quarter for a shopping cart! They also only take Cash or Debit. read more

After hearing a lot of hype about how Aldi is related to Traders Joe's and has amazing produce, I was excited to go check it out. Thoroughly prepared by my friends, we brought our own bags as well as a quarter for the cart. Upon entering, we were surprised by the amount of prepackaged food. I didn't get a chance to check labels, but I wasn't impressed at first glance. I haven't done any research into Aldi brand products, and I like to know where my food comes from, so I tend to skip brands I don't know. The prices seemed about on par with Publix, maybe a little lower. The produce was not everything I'd hoped for. I saw several moldy oranges, and there were lots of empty bins. The organic produce prices were a little better than Trader's or Whole Foods, but the produce itself just looked...sad. We picked up some peppers and cherry tomatoes, which have been average taste-wise. Overall, the whole store seemed a little off to me, and not as clean and well-organized as I'd like. There's a random aisle of what appeared to be "as seen on TV" items. I'm not sure I want to pay slightly lower prices for questionable quality. I will say that my husband said he's visited other Aldo's that are cleaner and nicer, so maybe give this location a miss. It's the place to come if you're on a budget and that budget is the most important part of your grocery shopping. read more

This is a relatively small Aldi's (compared to the one in Ithaca I used to frequent), but it gets the job done. Weekly produce sales are fantastic and it provides staples for us on a budget. Check your packages to make sure there aren't any bad apples (literally). I usually avoid packaged food and meat here -- those items are a hit or miss with quality. Eggs are always super cheap here and I do stop by for those and it's cheaper than Costco (we go through eggs really quickly). The do not provide bags and I always forget mine so I grab an empty cardboard box from around the store and use it as a shopping basket (haven't been told off yet). Aldi is a favorite place of mine to get fresh fruit and veggies. This location is close to my house and the price is much cheaper than Publix (which I really love). Unlike Publix sometimes shopping here is not really a pleasure. You have to bring your own bags (which I am a fan of) or buy bags there. The cashiers are timed so they quickly throw all of your stuff into a cart and then you go to the side to bag your groceries. By the way, don't forget your quarter to get your cart (which you get back when you return your cart) If you do forget you can get a quarter from a cashier. Also, if you need help you are on your own because they employ a minimum number of people. I keep returning to Aldi because the prices of some items can't be beat. Even though, there are very few brand named items the Aldi brand does taste pretty good in everything I've had. Overall, Aldi keeps prices down by stripping their stores to the bare minimum, especially in employees and service. However, what they lack in service they make up for in great value. read more

We have become fans of Aldi's ever since our budget was cut by over half. You have to be careful what you shop for. We do well with pantry staples: sugar, flour, eggs, chips, salsa, shredded cheese, etc. Their almond milk is the best price in town (approx. $2.48 for a half gallon). I would not shop there for produce, other than the large bag of potatoes. We don't shop there for fresh meat. We do well with the frozen chickens. The wine & chocolate are very good, too. I love shopping at Aldi's and I was so lucky to find several yard games, of which I picked up ALL of them - Slam Disc, Disc Golf, Ball Slam, Yard Darts, and a disk game where you knock a bottle off a platform. These came in quite handy when we attended a music camp picnic, with lots of kids that needed to be entertained! The games ran from $10 to $20; and, are by Crane. Assembly was easy; the games held up well; and, we took them home to enjoy ourselves. Great find! read more

This isn't my home aldi, but I go to this one occasionally. Overall, I like Aldi. I mean no, you aren't gonna find that special organic speghetti sauce with organic mushrooms grown in Nebraska, but you'll find a decent selection of normal sauces, that are perfect for me, at a good price. Other staples are cheaper here as well, milk, eggs, basic produce, and frozen items. I like the "smart one" knock offs, they actually taste better, are low calorie, and 99 cents...I usually pay 2-3$ for a frozen meal at publix/Target. My favorite is that occasionally they have lobster tail for 3.50 a tail, or $7 a pack (2) You can not beat that. They are decent lobster, I usually stock up, but that deal isn't all the time, sadly. They have other misc items, frozen stir fry, frozen chicken patties, ect that are very cheap, compared to other stores. They also have ethnic foods, some German dishes, cakes, veal (frozen), ect. They don't really have name brands, but I really don't care, from my experience, the items are just as good, if not better. Aldi also has a double your money back, so if you don't like an item, you can return it and get double your money back, they stand by their products. Overall, they are a better price. NOW, if you shop the sales at other stores (Publix, WinnDixie, ect) and use coupons and/or B1G1, then you will probably save more money that way. Stock changes from time to time, but their staples stay the same. I buy a lot of frozen veggies, chicken and burgers. The prices are better than Walmart! The employees are so kind, polite and helpful. *** Make sure to bring your own bags (paper, plastic or cloth) and a quarter to use the shopping carts. If you forget your bags, they do have some you can purchase for a small fee. If you do buy produce there, make sure you look them over. Aldi is a great place to shop, The prices are amazing. They don't have some things we all like that is why it is 4 stars but honestly it is my first stop when grocery shopping for the family. Anything I couldn't get I just pop into to Publix. I have to say also that Aldis customers service has always been so wonderful. They are always kind and helpful. Things like,milk,sliced cheese,A1,crackers,chip ect are all WAY cheaper than anywhere else. I can put my money to good use doing fun things with the family instead paying for overpriced groceries. Yes if you don't bring your own bags you have to buy they plastic or paper they have on hand. however, I keep my "green" bags in the car anyway so that I am not getting plastic all the time so it doesn't really effect me. I love ALDI. I REALLY DO. BEEN SHOPPING THERE FOR YEARS. But I started with Instacart delivery and my food is EXPIRING too soon. The dates say one thing but the food goes bad. Loaves of bread, turkey bacon and chocolate chip cookies ALL EXPIRED BEFORE their time. I'm getting frustrated because it's convenient but why are the products not lasting long. I just opened chocolate chip cookies in July That expire December 2019 and the chocolate is white and cloudy looking and the cookies taste stale. Why are they stale already when the package says they expire in December 2019? My turkey bacon has another month according to the label on The package, yet, it turned green and slimy. What's going on? Maybe it's THIS LOCATION on Aloma, but I never had this issue in Seminole county. Somebody needs to look into this. read more

I'd just moved into Hunter's Ridge apartments a few days ago and after my dad helped me get most of everything in, we had to go get food. The nearest Walmart was about 6 miles away and dad didn't want to drive that far. I really wanted to avoid Publix because it was a tendancy of being expensive. On our way, he saw Aldi and pulled up. I have found some fantastic produce, bread and cheeses (the Havarti is amazing!) that I would rather buy here because I know they will be affordable and in most cases, be of comparable quality. Of the 3 Aldi's that I've been to in Orlando this is the nicest. The staff is great and you can't beat the prices. The parking lot seems dicey though and the area is pretty run down. The have excellent basic grocery items and don't forget your quarter for the cart and your own bags, but to save $50 off what you'd pay at Publix makes it worth it. read more
