While you're waiting for your food, you can browse around, which honestly makes the wait fly by. There's seating if you want to eat there, or you can easily take it to go. I do really like Grace Meadow Farm, that is usually at this market that sells chorizo and ground beef. It is some good stuff! The butter at Mill River Farm is also awesome. I've only been in Winston Salem for a year, but this Farmer's Market can even beat Costco on price and quality. Come early for the best selection of everything from green onions to heirloom tomatoes, to organic peppers. Bring flowers home to your wife/girlfriend, and buy a rug from the nice veteran on the eastern wall. There are salsa (the food, not the dance) competitions, local honey farmers, and a good amount of (free) parking. The best part about this place is how kind the farmers are. They'll always give you more than you pay for, and are generous on their samples.
