You'll find the freshest picked everything, from cucumbers to tomatoes and all points between. The market is fully covered, providing some much needed shade, and there are some permanent vendors that have an indoor facility such as an ice cream parlor, candy and fudge, general store, etc. There are full bathroom facilities on site, and even a restaurant called the Moose Cafe at the back which served southern favorites. Of course, what is offered depends on the season. You'll find a bounty of selections starting in late spring, through the summer, and into the fall. In the winter, produce starts to become more sparse, but there is no shortage of places to buy your Christmas tree if you celebrate with one of those. Best advice is to bring cash, but many vendors can take a card these days. You may get charged a little extra for using plastic in some spots though, and to help with these folks margins, cash is preferable.

They take you by tractor to the strawberry fields which the kids love and they also have a little general store with homemade food items for sale. In their dessert barn, they sell a little bit of strawberry everything! We opted for a small vanilla and strawberry icecream cup as well as a strawberry lemonade to devour on the spot but had to have the strawberry cobbler to take home. They also had strawberry cake by the slice or whole. We topped the trip off by using spare pocket change to buy feed for the goats. Apparently it's a 2 year olds dream to feed the farm animals (lol). We also took a look inside their animal barn where rabbits, turkeys, lambs, chickens, and peacocks roamed around in their respective pens. This is definitely a spot our family will make a yearly tradition for a fun filled strawberry outing!

I buy fresh flowers every week (3 bunches for $12) and the lillies are always jaw droppers! The floral arrangements are gorgeous and have the healthiest life span, I have had some bloom and stay sturdy for two weeks, while changing the water every third day. Just wanted to say how impressed I am with the fresh cut flowers at the Kernersville location plus this store is open until 11pm so go treat yourself to some fresh blooms after making it through another 8 hours at work, you deserve it!
