They had several flavors and we tried the coconut almond and chocolate caramel. I did not like the chocolate caramel at all but the coconut almond was really good. We have a few other items we are going to try later so I'll have to post more photos once I give them a try.

I went to Sprouts two days in a row looking for their family meal deal. I was told they were having an issue with a late truck, and I completely understand that things happen that are outside of the store's control. My issue was not that the truck was late. My issue was how the situation was handled. I asked to speak with a manager because I was hoping there might be some type of alternative solution. For example, if the store didn't have the cooked salmon available, perhaps they could have offered the raw salmon as an alternative. Instead, I was simply told that they couldn't control the trucks because they weren't their trucks, and that was pretty much the end of the conversation. I went ahead and paid for my groceries. The same manager I had spoken with apparently gave me a $5 coupon, but she never communicated that to me. She came to the register, swiped something, and walked away. I had no idea what had even happened until I later realized I had received $5 off. I am not someone who normally complains. I truly don't have the time or energy for it. But I was kind, respectful, and understanding throughout the entire interaction. I used to work in management, and I understand that you can't always fix every problem. However, you can offer alternatives when possible, and if there is no alternative, simply treating the customer with kindness and acknowledging their frustration goes a long way. I ultimately contacted Sprouts customer service to express my concerns. I wasn't complaining about the manager personally. I was explaining that I had come to the store two days in a row, the product still wasn't available, and I wasn't offered any alternative. What happened next was honestly weird and nasty. The manager, who I believe was named Tia, called me after I contacted customer service. There was no, "Hello, how are you?" or even an acknowledgment of my concerns. The conversation started with her saying something along the lines of, "Ma'am, I gave you $5 off," in a very stern and demanding tone. I said, "Okay, well, I didn't realize that." And that was basically the end of the conversation. No apology. No empathy. No, "I'm sorry we weren't able to accommodate you." No acknowledgment of the fact that I had gone to the store two days in a row. Just a phone call to tell me that she gave me $5 off, as if that somehow resolved the issue. I took FOUR Ubers to Sprouts. Two the first day and two the next day, just to go to the store and purchase food. I made the effort to come back a second day, and I was still understanding about the situation. The least I expected was to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Instead, I received a phone call that felt as though I had done something wrong or inconvenienced her personally. Ma'am, I am the CUSTOMER. I didn't call you to argue. I called customer service to share my experience and hopefully help address the issue. And let's be clear, this was never about $5. I came into the store expecting to purchase a family meal that would have cost around $30, and I still ended up spending $62 in the store. The $5 wasn't the issue. The lack of communication, customer service, and basic kindness was the issue. The other employees I interacted with seemed perfectly pleasant, so this isn't about everyone at the store. But the management experience left a LOT to be desired. I used to be in management, and one thing I know for sure is that you don't have to be able to fix every problem. But you should know how to communicate, offer solutions when possible, and treat people with kindness. If you don't like your job or don't want to deal with customers, maybe it's time to find something else. As for me, I'm good on Sprouts. They can have it. I'll find another location, or I'll just shop at Trader Joe's. Y'all have a good one with that.

The parking lot was immaculate, with no debris in sight and shopping carts corralled. Upon entering, there are recycling bins and plastic bag returns, also neatly maintained. The store is clean and airy, with the happy buzz of employees dressed in green going about their tasks. To demonstrate the quality of this particular store, and what impressed me the most, I have a story. I was there for a specific item (although I left with $50 dollars worth of other items, but I digress), and was having difficulty locating it. Ben, the store manager was busy stocking shelves and was coming down the frozen food aisle, so I stopped him to inquire. Without hesitation, he kindly looked up the item, checked the stock, and found a boatload of what I needed (yay!) and then educated me on where the other plant-based items were in this specific store. Score! I had been to THREE other Publix stores (yes in three different cities...lol) on my search. This store has now become "Numero Uno" in my book. It was so well stocked and the employees were so helpful, that I will enjoy coming back again, and again, and I would invite anyone to do the same.

I've lived in Greensboro long before these started to operate so i've seen Li-Ming and Super G mart go through all their evolution stages until now. What they have in common is that the owners bought an old, badly aged and frankly decrepit industrial space (The super G mart used to be a chemical factory !) and did zero renovation of the interior. Not even replaced the old torn up plastic floors and for a long time you could smell the chemical fumes from the old plant except at the fish market section that stunk so bad that it covered all smells. This is the nature of Asian business they don't care about how and where, they just want to sell a maximum for profit. Same mentality as these fly by night Chinese buffet restaurant that import all their food from China and do not buy a single food locally. Super G mart had a rough start but it was always run by a remarkable older Korean lady who made all the selections for the store (a huge job) and they always had cheap mexican labor and cashiers from 3rd world Asian country. You don't want to ask who is legal or not. The fresh produce section of super G mart has improved considerably in the last 8 years. It's exceptionally well organized and replenished. Thanks to the high customer volume the turn around of fresh produce is high which mean fresh. And the mexican hand labor are good at doing their work. Note how you will not see a Nig Eager doing any kind of worthwile work in any place in the country or the world for that matter. And you cannot call it a prejudice because it is a fact. So Super G is excellent for fresh produce and it really is international as it carries South American as well as African and Asian fresh produces. The rest of the store is very well stocked thanks to the Korean lady i mentioned higher who i believed is retired now. I would say it's an excellent Asian market but the prices are not cheap. You have to watchout some things are very expensive. Now about the Chinese Li Ming. It started as a communist looking communal supermarket, like what you would expect in 1990 North Korea, or 1990 China. The product were far less varied than super G and since most of it is from China and the quality was lower. It is a big warehouse. The fish seafood market was nightmarish for years and still is. You would often see the tanks filled with dead fishes, filth, dark beige color water never cleaned, algaes on the glass. The fishes looked pitiful and pleading to die. The stench was hard to ignore. The meat market was no better. Run by a couple of underpaid mexicans you could see the absolute worse possible origin meat. It looked like being in Africa in 1970. For many years i didn't dare buy anything in the meat department. Even the vegetables looked like they came from polluted chinese cities. Only bagged produce could be trusted. Other than that, it really is a Chinese market, they have little to no other Asian countries products. Prices aren't low either. The owner is always working in the store an old bold chinese with a defiant nationalist chinese attitude ready for any confrontation. Very offensive and loud but within Chinese ways. You can almost smell the greed from watching him. In conclusion Li Ming is deifnitively inferior to super Gmart but they will have some teas i couldn't find in super G and Super G has much better selection of international fresh produce. In both of them i would be very cautious if buying fish or meat, as these places are far from hygienic and if it smells and looks often suspicious then you can be certain the back rooms are full or rodents and vermines too that will get at the food. So you know what to expect and shop cautiously. Li Ming has far less customer volume and is a big warehouse giving you a weird comfortable feeling of being in a time machine and visiting a communist store in the 1980. Even today in 2026. For sure the owner is old enough to have known that era in China. Every year the store hosts a chinese furniture and trinkets market next to the hot food and bakery. They bring in exclusive chinese interior objects what you would find in a highly touristic chinese crafmanship store in San Francisco in the 1980's. Prices are super high and meaningless. As you know or should know, Chinese are cunning merchants and the price is as high as you are willing to pay. Everything needs to be bargained extra hard. The way only a Chinese could do it. If you are a westerner you are guaranteed to overpay by a factor of not 4x , 3x. If you do 2x you didn't do too badly, Chinese know how to judge you to psychologically massage you to pay and think you paid a fair price. Overall i think the prices are high in both stores. But i enjoy shopping there for specialty products once every three months on average.

He has your normal items like potatoes, tomatoes, corn, green peppers, lettuce, cabbage, and so on but he also grows a lot of specialty items like eggplant, zucchini, sunflowers, kale, purple potatoes, a whole line of peppers from green to ghost and everything in between. His green thumb is very impressive with tomato plants that reach heights of 12' and zucchini's that grow as large as 16" long and 5" thick and the taste of these items are not compromised by the size. Brent also has a full line of Wilbur's Salsas, which area absolutely out of this world. They are not your normal store bought salsas and most aren't even tomato based. Our favorite is the Apple and Cranberry Salsa which is unbelievable. You can buy straight out the garden which he will help you pick or you can see him most weeks at the downtown farmers market. He not only sells his products but he has samples of his salsas which sell out every week. One more note that you may be interested in. I haven't seen anywhere that can beat his prices especially for organic items. I suggest you visit his Facebook page then visit him in person.

This location opened at 8 am & I arrived shortly after this time. The place was quiet, other than workers passing by and greeting each other as they prepared for the day. It appeared to be tidy and well organized. I even took a quick glimpse at their beauty and some oral hygiene items during my visit. I will return to purchase some natural toothpaste & natural soaps I found today. The herbs and teas were all self serve & the clean scoops they provide for each use is nice. The area also has hand sanitizer and pens to write the names and codes for each selection. This also allows for a smooth checkout experience.
