They recently started stocking cups of ice so you can have a cold drink on the go. We tried the Melon Ade with Lychee jelly and it was really refreshing and delicious. I would definitely recommend giving some of the drinks a try the next time you stop in. We also tried a sweet cheese bar found in the refrigerated section. They had several flavors and we tried the coconut almond and chocolate caramel. I did not like the chocolate caramel at all but the coconut almond was really good. We have a few other items we are going to try later so I'll have to post more photos once I give them a try.

The store is clean and airy, with the happy buzz of employees dressed in green going about their tasks. To demonstrate the quality of this particular store, and what impressed me the most, I have a story. I was there for a specific item (although I left with $50 dollars worth of other items, but I digress), and was having difficulty locating it. Ben, the store manager was busy stocking shelves and was coming down the frozen food aisle, so I stopped him to inquire. Without hesitation, he kindly looked up the item, checked the stock, and found a boatload of what I needed (yay!) and then educated me on where the other plant-based items were in this specific store. Score! I had been to THREE other Publix stores (yes in three different cities...lol) on my search. This store has now become "Numero Uno" in my book. Typically they have the product, especially the brand I'm looking for. Finding the right brand is key to making your dish you've made/family used for years...so this is really good. He has your normal items like potatoes, tomatoes, corn, green peppers, lettuce, cabbage, and so on but he also grows a lot of specialty items like eggplant, zucchini, sunflowers, kale, purple potatoes, a whole line of peppers from green to ghost and everything in between. His green thumb is very impressive with tomato plants that reach heights of 12' and zucchini's that grow as large as 16" long and 5" thick and the taste of these items are not compromised by the size. Brent also has a full line of Wilbur's Salsas, which area absolutely out of this world. They are not your normal store bought salsas and most aren't even tomato based. Our favorite is the Apple and Cranberry Salsa which is unbelievable. You can buy straight out the garden which he will help you pick or you can see him most weeks at the downtown farmers market. He not only sells his products but he has samples of his salsas which sell out every week. One more note that you may be interested in.
