Rocking chairs all over the food area and plenty of seating even on a crowded day

Such a great time! We came today on Mother's Day weekend and while we were far from the only people who had the brilliant idea of strawberry picking today it didn't feel crowded at all. The gardens are bursting with so many ripe berries and they taste amazing. There is plenty of space, we never felt infringed on at all. The line for the dessert barn was pretty epic BUT worth it. All of the prices are really fair and everything was delicious. My big regret of the day is that we didn't get the cobbler too. They have a big barn area with so many animals that all look healthy and happy, goats galore along with sheep, chickens, turkeys, even bees and peacocks! Don't miss the small farmers market where we snagged some farm fresh eggs for only $4 a dozen- hello Mother's Day breakfast tomorrow!

    Juicy & delicious!

Will be back! First time visiting Ingram's strawberry farm & we will definitely be back! The berries are delicious! We did 'pick your own' with our toddler & she loved it. She enjoyed seeing the animals too. Someone suggested we stopped by the dessert barn for the strawberry cobbler and I'm so glad we did!

I have been to pick strawberries at many places over the years. And for the most part they are the same. Ingram's is like most everywhere. Lovely fields full of juicy strawberries. They are so much cheaper then a grocery store and they are vine ripe. Which means the strawberries are red all the way through! Not white in the middle like at a grocery store and so sweet and juicy The only down fall to you-pick is you have to get a lot! They give you a basket (there is only one size, which other places I have been to gave you options, there is only one size here). Other places I have been too also do it on weight, not here. This 2022 season it is 13$ for the basket, but you can fill that basket as little or as much as you want and no matter what it is 13$. So we piled it high and walked away with 8lbs of berries. That's less then 50 cents a pound! But that also means you better have a lot of mouths to feed or some canning plans. Personally we make jam and compote and then have strawberries for weeks. It sounds pricy at first but if you can make use of them it is beyond worth it. It also makes for a lovely day. You spend about an hour in the field ( depending on how picky and thorough you are.) and then they have a snack shack with homemade ice cream and sweets. I got the peach on an employee's recommendation, it was very lack luster. But we also got the chocolate covered strawberry. It is their homemade strawberry with chunks of chocolate. That is the one to get!!!! I generally don't like strawberry ice cream but the chocolate really balances it out! They also have a little general store with jams and pre picked strawberries (which of course are much more expensive, just spend 30 minutes and pick them your self). They also have a small petting farm with goats and such for the kids. ***Also they only take cash so be prepared*** Overall it's a great family run local farm and a lovely day out.

No matter your age, you become a kid when picking out your pumpkin!

We attended the Third Annual Fall Festival at Ingram's Strawberry Farm (10-4-19). What a great FAMILY event. There was plenty to see and do. ' PUMPKIN PATCH: we walked to the pumpkin patch (there is a tractor pulling a wagon that will deliver you to/from the patch but the line was super long and we enjoy walking so we skipped the wagon ride). There are plenty of beautiful pumpkins to choose from so come ready to get exactly the pumpkin you need. Kids were running everywhere and squealing with delight. It really was a great place to be on a beautiful sunny day! DO NOT MISS this event next year! You will make it a yearly event that you will never want to miss! MOST SINCERELY!

Experience was amazing, food was great. The only disappointment was that when I went with a $100 bill, it seemed as if they were trying to give me less change than what I was supposed to receive. The way they counted the cash, they said it out loud but mumbled at the end. For example: If my change was $83, then they would say "20, 40, 60, 70...(mumbles)... 83" Still would recommend this place though!

Awesome, awesome farm in High Point! We will be back, as they run different pick-your-own fruit seasons. Check out the included picture in this review for more info on scheduling. We came for the first time for strawberries . We got to fill 2 large boxes for $24, packed to the hilt! The farm is a large lot of land with plenty of parking, either in the grass lot or on the street. It was rather busy when we went, but the walk from the street wasn't too far for us. Lines moved along plenty quickly to get our boxes for picking. The kids had a fantastic time! The fruit was large and vibrant red, as you can see! Ingram also has a farmers market area, where they sell farm fresh eggs, jams, honeys, other produce, and Pepsi of course! They also have a food stand, where on this occasion they were dishing out batches of fresh made desserts from their strawberries: ice creams, cake, frozen cream pie. All was so delicious! I would've preferred the pie not frozen, but it was still great. Long line, but still moved along pretty quickly. They might be able to make the line move a bit quicker if they had one person take the order and money and someone else dish out the orders on the side. As is currently, you place your order, pay and everyone waits behind you while your order is being put together. Maybe best part of all was the animals. They have goats, chickens, turkeys, and a peacock and peahen. You can pet and feed the goats, and the peacock was so mighty and impressive and gorgeous! The picture doesn't do him justice.

First time strawberry picking was a success because of Ingram's Farm. I took my mom for a nice outing this day, and enjoyed everything. We picked 3 baskets!! They had pick your own, pre-pick that you can purchase, and other fun things like a dessert barn with delicious homemade strawberry ice cream, and a small shop that sold ciders, jams, etc. Everything was reasonably priced especially when I compared it to other places I looked up. The employees were very kind and helpful for navigating around the farm and for tips on picking good berries. I will definitely be coming back next season!

Best Birthday Party Ever! We had our daughter's 5th birthday party here and it was excellent!!

We had our daughter's 5th birthday party here and the kids enjoyed receiving their own buckets to pick strawberries, feeding and petting the farm animals, and eating delicious homemade Ingram ice cream! We highly recommend a visit and or birthday party!

Plenty of room for everyone to pick their own strawberries.

This is a great place for the whole family! My wife decided she wanted to head here for Mother's Day to pick strawberries. There were a bunch of people who had the same idea but we all had our own rows to pick in with plenty of room. The strawberries were great, lots of animals to see and plenty of things in the store plus amazing ice cream and desserts! Highly recommend checking them out!!

We loving coming out to Ingram's to pick our own strawberries each year! It's always an enjoyable experience and great to see how the operation has expanded over the years! If you've never been you definitely need to make an afternoon of it!

    The "Dessert Barn": Ingram Farms

Very nice strawberry farm. Buy pre-picked berries or grab a bucket and head to the field and pick your own. They were running a shuttle back and forth from the barn to the fields for berry pickers which was a tractor pulling a wagon which held maybe a dozen passengers. There's a "Dessert Barn" aside from the main barn where you pay for your strawberries, which I thought was pretty neat. The Dessert Barn is where you can pick up some homemade strawberry poundcake, strawberry cobbler or some ice cream. I'll have to check that out next time, I was here on a Saturday and the place was slam packed...you can even feed some animals here if you want.

    Sweet goat saying hello.

The parking lot was immaculate, with no debris in sight and shopping carts corralled. Upon entering, there are recycling bins and plastic bag returns, also neatly maintained. The store is clean and airy, with the happy buzz of employees dressed in green going about their tasks. To demonstrate the quality of this particular store, and what impressed me the most, I have a story. I was there for a specific item (although I left with $50 dollars worth of other items, but I digress), and was having difficulty locating it. Ben, the store manager was busy stocking shelves and was coming down the frozen food aisle, so I stopped him to inquire. Without hesitation, he kindly looked up the item, checked the stock, and found a boatload of what I needed (yay!) and then educated me on where the other plant-based items were in this specific store. Score! I had been to THREE other Publix stores (yes in three different cities...lol) on my search. This store has now become "Numero Uno" in my book. It was so well stocked and the employees were so helpful, that I will enjoy coming back again, and again, and I would invite anyone to do the same.

Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu. You can't go wrong at southern roots.

I'm so glad that I decided on them to order lunch yesterday! I ordered the monstrous Torta with Al Pastor as my protein choice. It was difficult to decide, but I think that if an Mexican restaurant can do great Al Pastor, they just are great! It was so yummy, flavorful and the texture just perfect! Put a little of that red HOT sauce on it and it's killer. And yes, I emphasized that for a reason. The red sauce is firey! The green is a good choice for some acidity, but not so hot. My friend ordered 6 tacos and they were delightful! Two of each of the pollo, chorizo, and al pastor. They come with onions, cilantro and lime but you can add other toppings for an added fee. They really don't need anything else, but feel free to indulge! I would definitely order from them again!
