But today, I needed ice cream and a few other things that I only purchase at TJ's. I like the quality and selection of the products. Prices are great, too. The fresh flowers are fragrant when you enter the store. They make these mini ice cream cones that are covered in chocolate and taste divine. They are small and the perfect size for me. I like the coffee flavored ones, but they have other flavors more suitable for kids. Today, I also picked up a highly rated Cabernet Sauvignon for cheap. I also like their pizza dough and frozen Asian meals for a quick dinner. This store has a bit wider aisles because the store is always busy. They have plenty of people stocking shelves and checking out. The staff is always friendly. I have to harp on the parking. The parking spaces are too close together and there's high probability someone's going to bang your door. The traffic pattern is wonky and dangerous for pedestrians.

I have heard about it a few times & always intended to go but his reminder was needed. Well let me say this, the hype is real. The store was so clean and organized. Honestly, better than any of your major supermarkets. I was so impressed with the way the shelves were stocked & it was easy to find what I needed. Everyone was so nice! From the cashiers to the people working the floor. The big bonus for me was that the carts were clean haha. I cannot stand a dirty looking cart, I get the ick haha. The food was reasonably priced & there were good deals. There was a carton of eggs for 1.50! Yes, one dollar and fifty cents! In 2024! Haha Unfortunately, I only needed to pick up a few items but will be back for sure the next time I need to do some damage at the grocery store.

Review of Kroger - Ongoing Check Fraud Issue…read more This is the second time my elderly father has experienced check fraud involving Kroger. That alone raises serious concerns. Most recently, he wrote a check for $17 at a Kroger store. The physical check was returned to him showing $17, and his receipt also confirmed the correct amount. However, when he later checked his bank account, $317 had been withdrawn. Despite numerous attempts to get this resolved, Kroger has offered nothing but delays, blaming their third-party check processing vendor. When contacted, the vendor pointed the finger back at Kroger. This circular blame game has gone nowhere. To be clear: a Kroger cashier effectively stole $300 from an elderly customer. And given this is the second time it's happened to him, it would be naïve to think this isn't a more widespread issue--one that may often go unnoticed, especially by elderly shoppers who rely on paper checks. As of now, there has been no resolution, no accountability, and no refund. Kroger needs to take this issue seriously and ensure better oversight of its check handling process, especially when vulnerable customers are being targeted.

We always find quite a few sale items especially on vegetables and fruits which are a big portion of our food budget. I find that I have to go in repeatedly to find items that I regularly purchase. Most of the staff members are helpful if you can find one to ask a question. However, I have to call out the Manager behind the desk who has been particularly "sour" on the few occasions when I have returned items, and I have noticed this same attitude in her own interactions with staff. I think this affects them negatively as it's hard to get a smile from the checkout folks who just mechanically do their jobs (with one long time employee "Go....a" being the exception). There is no sense at all that they enjoy working at this WF. I purchase bread here and it is good, but the area is usually understaffed. Sometimes, there is a 5-6 minute wait to just find someone to slice the bread. Believe me, I'd much rather shop at WF than TJ's, but the staff members at TJ's are quantum leaps better in terms of their consistent friendly customer relations and service. Having said all this, I will say that this WF location's meat counter and produce staff members are the exception....they are very good and helpful. I actually hope that someone in WF corporate will see this review so that they can do something about the institutional issues at this location.
