Actually, it's probably for the best because the salad bar did look delectable and immaculate. So many fresh a clean vegetables! They also have an area with soup and chili, which the staff will also help you with. There are some tables in the salad bar area, so you can sit and eat your food inside the shop. Mostly, though, The Famous Tomato is a specialty food store. Lots of old fashioned candy, hot sauce and barbecue sauce, novelty sodas, so many different flavors of Moon Pies, and random things like salted peanuts in the shell. It's also a little farmers market, so you'll find lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The Famous Tomato feels like a hidden gem, even though it's right there in plain sight in Speedway. Grocery store sells the Indian food, snacks and fruits and vegetables. The store is few minutes away from Patel brothers which is a benchmark store for Indian groceries so for sure aapna bazaar needs to up the game as a customer I feel Patel bothers is far more organized and offers variety and even cleaner than this store. The owner of this place is also running the business in Coulumbus, IN and the store and restaurant in Columbus has its place in market but as I mentioned they are right near to Patel brothers so they have to up the game.
