Great value. Know the prices of goods. They do not have specialty items but everyday items is an excellent choice.

Back to the pastries- wow. Each one was well portioned and $6. Flavors were rich and ingredients tasted fresh. We grabbed coffees to go as well and they were actually reasonably priced! We each ordered a panini. I went with the vegetarian option and my husband had the smoked salmon. Both were very good--fresh ingredients and tasty flavors--and came with a small side salad. Nothing extravagant, but solid and satisfying. Afterward, we lingered with coffee and pastries. The chocolate-filled pastry and the pecan almond cinnamon roll were both excellent, and the coffees were tasty (though my café au lait was a bit on the smaller side). The standout was the service. The young lady working the counter was genuinely friendly, helpful, and patient as we asked questions and took our time deciding. It made the whole visit feel welcoming. Overall, although the price was a bit high for lunch and dessert, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back for another lunch or just to grab pastries and coffee. A nice local French bakery vibe without being fussy. Recommended.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a bright, cheerful space, flowers everywhere and the welcoming smell of fresh waffle cones being made right behind the counter. The staff? Warm, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping you find your new favorite flavor. Whether you're a kid, a grandparent, or somewhere in between, you're treated like a regular. The ice cream. It's next level. Every flavor is creamy, decadent, and clearly crafted with care--no mass-produced shortcuts here. Local favorites like horchata, mango chili, and tres leches sit beside classics like cookies & cream and chocolate fudge brownie. You can taste the difference, and honestly, I'd choose Dulce over any big-name creamery in Charleston. Plus, prices are more than fair for the quality and portion size--great value for families or just an indulgent solo treat. Don't miss.. it's fabulous

The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Three thumbs up, five stars. Highly recommend.

The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again.

Considering this business should be peddling Joy, this guy can chase customers away faster than: A politician changes their mind! Trump can piss off a Democrat! Rita's Slogan: "Ice+Custard=Happiness" This Rita's owners slogan: "Me+Customers = wait, where did my customers go?" If "poor customer service" were an action movie, this guy is their Arnold Schwarzenegger. Imagine owning an Ice shop and chasing away the family dinner guests from next door so they don't buy your desert. I bet they teach that in business school!!! I don't condemn Rita's as a whole, and I am sure the young folks that work here are delightful (Probably miserable working for that dude). So if you are reading this - don't hate the business, but certainly the owner is worthy. The story: There is a new restaurant next door that we were going to for dinner, planning to get Ices for desert. Unfortunately we made the mistake of sitting down near here when there was no one there or waiting for a seat. At which point the presumable owner of this establishment rudely asked us to leave as these particular seats were only for his customer. He could have easily asked nicely, and we would have come buy after dinner and bought ices. But he was flat out rude about it. Nicely we said nothing, got up walked to the other area where bunches of people were sitting on benches waiting for their tables. When some got up and left, we sat down. BIG mistake according to this guy. He came out yelling. Not at any of the other people, just my family because "He already told us to leave." Mind you - this is an unmarked bench in a public easement between 2 businesses - photo in the review. 1/2 a dozen other people around us are staring and shaking their heads at the guy, obviously no longer planning to buy anything there and apparently this is a nightly occurrence! For us - I will not frequent this establishment if it were the last place on earth to sell Ice.
