Went in here again to save money, and the line didn't fail to amaze me. All the way down the aisle. I get that only a few employees, ultimately does cut costs a good bit. Yet I do wonder after completing a Shakespeare book, is it worth the price of admission? To this stores credit, I've done well here on Greek yogurts, apples, oranges, and cheese products. They are considerably less than mainstream grocery stores. Yet you will wait for it. Patience is a virtue. To its credit a very clean store. Also it is well organized. I like the whole pallet set up, and only having a brand or two to choose from. As a single dad, this does help as what's left of my mind is frazzled. I also am grateful for their deals on beef and chicken. As for stores in the area, I usually find the Fairfax City one easier to get out of. Yet all have that line, so make sure you have enough time.

Check out these helpful prices.... When was the last time you were able to get 18 items for $29.71 ???

Well I was in need of groceries.... So, made the stop ...soo much better this time....produce was fully packed ...plus the prices are incredible, so much less. Nice bread selection this time. Snacks, chips and cookies not brand names not bad tasting either. Definitely worth trying.... They have a few cookies here that I'm always on the lookout for. Theres a chocolate thin mint cookie, Taste just like girl scouts sell, but for much, much less. I put them in freezer like I did growing up! There's also peanut butter cookie Tastes pretty darn close to the tastykakes version, and again no where near the cost. The shelves were packed too. Canned goods, salad dressings, even the cereals priced fairly. You can find boneless chicken breast here for 1.89...ground beef 2.89 very good prices these days. The prices are so attractive here. I like to stop at Aldi's before going elsewhere. Why spend more if its not necessary?? ( I was a big Costco fan too, no need to hold stock on everything these days, no need to buy everything at once anymore and certainly no need to pay more then needed, especially if your getting what you need and want and enjoy !!!

A taste of Germany at home. Thanks to Aldi.

Although I am a rookie customer of Aldi, I think Aldi can be one of my favorite grocery stores in the area along with Wegman's, Whole Foods, Giant, Trader Joe's, H-Mart and Lotte. So far I bought, tasted and loved the following: - Organic Mixed Greens - Organic Garlic Hummus - Whole Wheat Pita - Organic strawberries - Organic blue berries - Made-in-Germany sauerkraut - Made-in-Germany Bavarian Bratwurst - Atlantic salmon, fresh never frozen - Jalapeño potato chips Aldi seems like they have quality food at reasonable prices. I was especially surprised by the fresh quality of the salmon at the price. I was also happy to be able to have made-in-Germany sauerkraut and sausages at really reasonable prices. Thanks to Lesley H's tip in her review, I brought my quarter and bags to avoid any inconvenience. Luckily I didn't have to wait long at the register though I brought patience with me too. ;)

Gosh, I really like this place! Walking into this store made me feel like I could potentially…read more"bake". The boxes and boxes of cakes, cookies and other yummy treats looked easy to create. BUT I needed the tools(pans, baking tools, and the skills). That wasn't happening today. The staff was SUPER informative and encouraging. He signed me up for the rewards program and gave me some coupons to order online and get free shipping. He explained that this location is actually a pop up that has been there since 2024. He said they would be closing soon. He did mention that Old Town Alexandria was getting a permanent store. Maybe by that time, I will have developed some cooking skills.

My mother in law introduced me to King Arthur flour mixes several years ago and let me tell you we…read morehave never been led astray. This employee-owned business has perfected the art of all things baking and has made it accessible for the masses. You can purchase their items at Whole Foods and even BJ's ... but this store is truly a showcase of their greatest hits. I nearly blacked out as I placed box after box of baking mix into my cart. Their mixes run the gamut from scones, pancakes, popovers, babka, muffins, pretzels, pizza dough, and more. I got 20% off since it was Black Friday and they even gave me a little bundt cake ornament as a special gift. They had their gingerbread cake out to sample, and it was surprisingly delicious (as someone who does not traditionally like gingerbread). This is a pop-up that is scheduled to close soon but I hope that they find another home in the area soon. Everyone I interacted with was super nice and friendly too!

This was our first time trying District Eatz and we had a great experience. My family and I tried…read morethe chicken shawarma sandwiches, the gyro, and the chicken bacon and wrap. We also split a couple orders of the buffalo mac and cheese. All the food was delicious and exactly as described on the menu. We did a pickup order through UberEats, so I can't attest much to the restaurant or staff, but from what I saw, the restaurant was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly. We plan on eating here again soon!

District Eats in Clifton was... okay. The chicken quesadilla honestly tasted like something you…read morecould make at home -- not bad, just super simple for being $8. It gave "homemade lunch" vibes more than "restaurant dish." I tried two smoothies -- the acai one was actually really good, but the green smoothie (I think it was called Island Green or something like that?) was rough. It literally tasted like someone blended up fresh-cut grass and ice. It was super unfortunate. Their menu does have a lot of variety, which I appreciated, but overall it feels a little overpriced for the quality. The service was decent though -- the staff gave a good recommendation and were kind. The best part was definitely the ambiance. The place had cute Halloween decorations and even a little Minion sitting out, which made the space feel fun and welcoming. Overall, I'd give it a solid three stars -- not bad, but not sure I'd rush back unless they tweak those smoothies.
