With a large group & a small waiting area that was a bit tough but they took great care of us while we waited. I got a whiskey sour that was delicious. Once the table was ready the flipped it super quick to get us seated & started caring for us right away. The food was delicious! I got a Cuban which is a favorite of mine. Absolutely loved it & it was still great as a left over the next day. Several people at the table got the burger. They mentioned they would've liked more topping but that it was still delicious. Someone got fish & someone else got a steak they raved about how great it was. The fries were top notch. I'd go back just for the fries. The restaurant was loud so it was hard to talk in a large group. It was very clean & maximized the small space they have. When it's not the middle of summer it would be nice to sit outside on their patio. It seemed like if you were willing to sit there you got sat & served immediately. They kept the restaurant cool for the door being opened a lot. All of the staff were very helpful & helpful. We found this place because two friends who used to live here recommended it. Neither of them know each other & for them to both recommend the same restaurant out of all the amazing looking restaurants in town, we had to check it out. What initially brought us in this day was that we saw their anniversary special advertised, the $5 Big Dad Special (a hard to beat deal, and side note, happy 22 years to Shane's Rib Shack!). There were no substitutions allowed, and since we wanted their delicious sides, we opted for their pork plate with fried okra and potato salad ($10). This plate was large enough for the two of us to share, and we happily did. Just as the first time the hubby had their catered BBQ, in-house did not disappoint either. Everything was delicious! Their ranch sauce was on point for the fried okra, too. Sweet tea was as desired, and the peach cobbler is perhaps the best peach cobbler we've enjoyed to date. Service was friendly, the facility was clean, and there's dog friendly patio seating available as well. Great first visit, and we see more Shane's Rib Shack in our futures.
