The pricing for new vinyl is pretty consistent with what you see or find at similar independent record stores. I really like the vibe and layout of this store. It's so large that you have separate rooms for primarily their used stuff and a separate area that looks like a hang out area. There's even a room towards the back where I think they have live shows. During out visit, it was used to hold the records that came in for Black Friday or Record Store Day 2025. Came here with some family to do some holiday shopping and just generally looking for stuff. There was a coffee cart there serving up free beverages, which was a nice touch. I ended up getting a couple of records I've been looking for awhile and being able to buy a couple records my nephew wanted for Christmas. There's also plenty of street and lot parking that makes the place easily accessible.

He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and took the time to help my daughter design the perfect skateboard. They had so many awesome deck designs to choose from, a great selection of wheels, and tons of fun stickers that made the whole experience even more exciting for her. While we were waiting for everything to be put together, I believe the manager came out and was just as friendly. He welcomed us and made us feel right at home, which really added to the overall experience. One thing that really stood out to me was a sign about rewarding kids for getting good grades. I thought it was such a cool idea that they encourage kids by letting them earn free skateboard parts and other goodies. I love seeing businesses invest in their community like that. Thank you to Antonio and the whole team for making my daughter's first skateboard such a fun and memorable experience. We will definitely be back!

I will do my best to leave an honest review! The staff at this location are very friendly, but I…read morebelieve the piercing artists aren't too experienced. About a year ago for my birthday, my husband took me here to get my snake eyes tongue piercing redone, and the girl was very sweet and confident, which I found comforting. however, I think she followed where my piercing had ripped, so I can't completely blame her, but it healed crooked and I wasn't happy and had to take it out. It was $65 down the drain. Thinking this was a one-off, we ended up going to get my husband's nose pierced for his birthday, but they hit a nerve and it did not heal correctly, got infected and ended up needing to be taken out. I think that the staff are very friendly here, but they need more experienced piercers. The lady who changed out my piercings at this location was very sweet and cleaned them out for free. She did not change or give me new jewelry, but she cleaned my existing jewelry for free, and I really appreciated her. I wish I remembered her name, but it has been so long. I only just joined yelp. Sweet young black lady. Very bubbly. 3 stars for staff friendliness but they do need experience.:(

Didn't get the chance to buy the bike yet, but will be back…read more All I can say is the service was excellent. My wife was looking for an E-bike, something for beginners, not super expensive but better than your Amazon choices. We/she went to our local places like Hank & Frank's and Mike's bikes. Both places had staff that were dismissive and didn't really want to help. When we asked for details, no solid answers were given. Anyways, we headed over to California Bike & Snowboard and the difference was crazy. We were greeted, and they were busy. The person took time to greet everyone, though they were short staffed. They took time to answer all of our questions. Grabbed the house bike helmet and had my wife take a test ride right away. The iron horse trail is right behind their shop. After she came back, they asked even more questions, and was able to give my wife different quotes and expectations for the E-bike. Overall, great experience. We plan on coming back to make the purchase soon.

I found a pair of shoes online from Footwear etc. I wanted to be sure (1) store was legitimate (2) shoes were new in org box (3) the actually had them in my size. So I called the Walnut Creek Store! Bri answered the phone. She's wonderful! Took the time to find out what I wanted and since I wasn't in the computer system, she explained, in a very nice way, that I'd need to come down to store. So I did. So glad I did! She again, took the time to call each of the stores that had the last pairs (2 pairs) to make sure they were available. Imputed me in the system. Gave me "free" shipping. And was so professional, kind, and curious, I was very impressed. This was on one of the busiest days (Mother's Day) and store was full of customers. I looked around and loved their selection of shoes. I'll definitely be back to shop there next time I'm in the market for some new shoes. Thank you Bri. And thank you Footwear etc.
